The arrows, and the walk, don't take too long to reach a doorway, which denotes, the SIM Room area. One in particular, SIM Room #3.

Upon their arrival, Tryko'Sam steps out seemingly at the same time as they get there. He goes from pensive to charming, warm smile in short order.

"Ladies... I hope the visit is for good reasons? You two all squared away with the Headmaster and all that? Probably lunch time, or something, hmmm?"

Depending on their people skills, they may or may not notice that gone is his happy go lucky state of being, replaced with a edginess, that seemingly blends away as he switches gears into casual interaction. Or maybe he was just doing something intense and is growing happy at the sight of the two. Perhaps both.

Let's see how aware Rena is... Sense Motive: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30

Approaching arm-in-arm, the girls appear to be quite happily rumbled in hair and clothing. Rena in particular - though she is appropriate clothed now in a white haltertop and shortish purple skirt. Her braid is frayed and coming apart a little, and the clothing looks like it's been creased in odd areas. Honestly, it looks like she and Asha might have had a little too much fun in their newly minted room. "Yes! We're all sorte--- are you alright Tryko'Sam? What's the matter?" Picking up on his mood shift from earlier this morning, Rena disengages from Asha, moving quickly to pull Tryko'Sam into a hug, wrapping both arms and wings around her friend. Nothing about the hug is sexual, simply the hug of a compassionate friend, who has seen someone she cares about hurting. She holds him for a moment before breaking off so that Asha would be included as well, though she slides her arm down and takes one of his hands in her own, a show of support.

Grinning, Anahita puts a finger to her lip and smiles, indicating sudden secrecy.

"Then again, those are super exclusive blackness parties... Not sure you've heard of them. I only just. Recently."

"I.. think the snubbing is like totally because the other one is stron--aggh." A hand goes up to Vai's head, breaking the airy show they were putting on, pain apparent on her face. She looks almost angry at that moment, or fierce, as she bears her teeth against the pain -- teeth which are slowly lengthening into the fangs of her dragon form.

Something is now apparently actively causing Vai pain, that much should be obvious, and that the look of pain on the blonde-framed face is slowly turning into defiance. "Ana," she says, through clenched teeth. "Lumos is..."

Suddenly, the pain and defiance subside, Vai's face and teeth turning towards a more neutral state. "Let's talk about something else." she says dejectedly, looking at the grassy ground., continuing flatly. "What are those... parties?"

Asha's internal monologue:
Asha's emotions ran a whole marathon as she tried to figure this out. He'd looked like he was in a bad mood. Where she came from that meant bad things. But this wasn't where she came from. Maybe it didn't mean that here....and Rena seemed to understand. She hugged him...was that what you were supposed to do? Cowering seemed more natural, but maybe out here people didn't hit you when they were in a bad mood...or was that situational? Dammit, there was so much she didn't understand. He was smiling now...did that mean things were okay? Should she ask? Would her new friends be insulted if she asked if it was normal for people to hit someone when they were in a bad mood? Even the servants would smack her with a rod if she didn't cooperate...it was one of the only times they touched her at all...but what if that wasn't how everyone did it? It would be nice to not have to worry about teachers smacking her for a wrong answer.....or did they still get to, but just friends didn't? Agh. This was so confusing....

Asha hung back, looking uncertain, her whole body tense.

She says, still with a grin on her face, before Asha begins her insecure line of questioning.

At which point, Rena turns to face her firebird friend, her head cocked sideways in a very beast-like gesture, curious and intent. Her wings open and close, brushing against Tryko'Sam, which causes a light shiver to go through her body. Sensitive, those wings, as was explored the previous night. She glances back to Tryko, seeing how he'll answer.

Speaking normally now, without the exaggerated manner and such, Anahita says plainly, "Darkness infused rooms of sexual pleasure and exploration, unfettered by vision or light, leaving only the sensations of smell, taste and touch for the participants. Rumored to be quite engaging and erotic, I assume, if such is your taste. I've been invited ... So to speak, to this, I thought perhaps you would appreciate the challenge of the darkness. No matter, effectively an orgy. I fear my patience is spent due to the abuse I am witnessing."

Looking sternly at Vai, Anahita then says, "I recommend we put aside any speaking of our other focus, which we willingly agreed to conduct, provided the acceptance of such is still true, less we were lied too. Oath breaking is not something I appreciate, nor unnatural pain or suffering. My apologies for any discomfort due to my actions. It is a pity something as extensive as Light feels threatened by the discussions of two mere girls. If I can offer you healing for any pain, as Anahita, please let me know."

That said, Anahita bows slightly with a hand over her heart, respectfully to Vai.

Then she waits for any response. Gone any alternate persona.

Vai seems to literally blanch in fear at the explanation of the parties. She shakes her head, saying, "No... I don't think that would be... good for me. It's... something I'm working to overcome, but I don't... like people to touch me, especially not in that way. Plus... I love Fei." she finishes simply, as if the explanation of her love for Fei should dismiss any notion of participation in the orgy (which of course, might not fit into Anahita's worldview). The fear had gone from her as she had spoke, slowly fading away, and replaced with a sort of determination, preparing what she was going to say next.

"You do not have to apologize Anahita, but thanks. You aren't the one causing me pain, and I doubt any healing would help. She's left me alone for now, you can ask me any questions to you still have. I'll try to answer them." She nods, folding her legs and tucking her skirt. The dragon-girl is sitting in a meditative posture now, with her skirt tucked so that nothing about her modesty could be questioned. Back straight, she takes a deep breath.

This is a place of learning, but more than that.. we're your friends, right? I mean, friends are supposed to help each other. Like how you're going to teach me acrobatics, or Tryko'Sam taught us all about stuff last night - we can all help each other. So don't hesitate, alright? We won't mind."

"As for hugs... well. The best thing in the world is knowing that someone cares for you. It's even better than sex, though maybe less intense. Though..." she seems to trail off in thought for a moment there, with a briefly uttered "Oh." mixed in with her sudden thoughtfulness.

"Well, if I personally would like to go check in on my friend Bradley. He was hurt last night during the attack, and I would like to see how he's doing. He's... very brave." Tryko and Asha could swear that there was a little hint of a swoon in Rena's voice at the end there, though honestly it could've easily just been admiration at the bravery she spoke of. Who knows with the strange used-to-big-a-giant-snake-thing-girl.

Vai nods in response to the question about Nasima, just a little uncomfortable under the intense gaze of the Champion of Life, but not backing down. She doesn't make a move to put any distance between them, a sort of defiance against her own neuroses. "Yes, Nasima was saved, and we defeated Khoda, and thanks to Lumos, Nasima's soul was made whole again. Which is why I don't regret my choice for even a moment."

"One thing you should understand Anahita, is that all the patrons find little ways to cheat in the game. "As far the attack last night... no one has told you? It was... me. From another timeline in the future. I... With Anahita's intense gaze and ability to read people, she can definitely sense that Vai is feeling some lingering guilt over the fact that is was /her/ who attacked the school, no matter how unreasonable that guilt might be - after all, she didn't make those choices.

Sitting there thoughtful for a moment, Anahita says, "It is a waste of your energies to feel any responsibility for the actions you, yourself, did not do, Vai. I will, however, respect your desire to feel guilt, if you cannot see the truth as I describe it, or as it is. How can a Patron have two Champions? Isn't that a direct violation per what you said earlier? Do you feel these entities are so willinging to be petty and cheat?"

Hearing her say that it is clear the prospect of such human characteristics associated to the Patrons gives Anahita pause to think.

"We should learn more of these things." She nods as emphasis.

"I'm not sure, but maybe it's not a violation, since... I mean, we're the same person. I don't know. Maybe? The only people who police the Patrons are the other Patrons, so if Lumos is violated the rules, the others might gang up on her to punish her." That would be, as in this case, assuming /you/ had any control in her life's choices. It might even be arrogant to assume you did, which makes it doubly wasteful of your energies. Wallow not. Grow and move on. Perhaps we can correct the imbalance, act as agents of progress and she'd illumination onto the situation, no? Be the Champion of the essence? Would that not be good?"

That said, she glanced off towards the school as if hearing something, before turning her attention back to Vai.

Okay, one, the firebird sun is almost all stone so there's not even anything to that theory.

And two, wtf is with this trying to cast me in the role of evil industrialist? I want to reintroduce technology on my home world and built factories (environmentally friendly I might add) to accomplish that and I want to build some giant robots to help defend my home from invasion. I did threaten one guy with hideous consequences if he became a danger to my family or the school or town...aside from him I haven't really given anyone an excuse to think badly of me. So what's with all the suspicion?

I have a special passenger that needs to be taken down in the cockpit. She isn't safe in with the others. I'll be there to keep her from being too much of a pain in the ass for you, but as much as I hate my mother-in-law, I'm not letting her get killed on my watch. Not really sure what to do with her once we land, but at least we can get her there in one piece....oh, and whatever she says, just pay her no mind. She's a bitter hateful person and she'll probably make a nuisance of herself. Sorry in advance.::

Ace smiles again at Kitty "Yea, he really is." He pauses, thinking "Ya know, I got some stuff I wanna do today, and while I enjoy taking Squeaky with me, I think I'd rather leave him here, with you. Would you mind watching him for the a few hours Kitty?"

"You're just trying to make me feel better," she said with a shaky smile. "Well, it's working, but....I'm not sure."

Hey Lyn, did any of my claw swipes land? Seems like none did, but if even one hit, it would deal a fair amount of damage, due to needing only one to deal extra via Rend

Only on the tonfa. Those are certainly a bit the worse for wear, but she was able to keep the claws off her this time.

Rena nods at Tryko'Sam's wise words, and returns the smile she gives him with a brilliant one of her own. "He's right Asha.

He's... very brave." Tryko and Asha could swear that there was a little hint of a swoon in Rena's voice at the end there, though honestly it could've easily just...

"I think I asked my question wrong," she said, still looking confused. "Maybe I'll see if I can find that teacher from last night again...she might know what I'm asking."

"Well, I don't have anything that I need to do other than get more familiar with the school, so if you want to go and say hello to your friend I have no objection to that," she said with a sunny smile.

She looked conflicted. "I think I would like to think about it then...when are you supposed to leave? I don't want to delay things because I'm being indecisive."

We are leaving later this afternoon before dinner time. I hope you decide you will go but I will understand if you decide not to go.

Lang then continues.

you have a tea party to attend also, lets go find the others and tell them about the ceremony and see who wants to go, ok?

"Yes, that sounds like a wonderful idea," she said, brightening at the reminder of the tea party.

She says, also happy about their party.

Ace chuckles "Of course I'm trying to make you feel better, you're my friend. You think I'd risk the cranky, early morning kitchen staff for just anybody? When I first walked in there, they practically stared daggers at me. For a second there, I thought I might end up in a batter bowl" He says continuing to smile, trying to get even a small laugh outta her.

Saffire was pawing at the breakfast container and meeping pathetically.

"Well, I think Saffire wants breakfast anyways. I suppose I should try to eat," she said grudgingly.

Looking back at Asha, Tryko'Sam says after a moment, "Please feel free to ask again, Asha. Sorry I misheard, I have to slow down and listen. That was my bad. I'm here to help, if you want. Loads of patience with some stuff."

He untangled himself from, politely and gently, Rena to face Asha fully when speaking to her.

"Tryko'Sam is right Asha. We're all here to help each other. You just have to ask, alright?" she says, crossing the small distance to the firebird and giving her a hug too, full on with wings and arms, just as she had done to Tryko'Sam a few moments earlier.

Afterwards, she smiles, having released her from the hug, and looks back and forth between Tryko'Sam and Asha. "Do you want to come too Tryko'Sam?"

She shook her head. "I'm not sure how to ask. I don't understand what 'normal' looks like here. I'm not really sure what normal is supposed to look like among firebirds except from what I could piece together from eavesdropping on the servants. That's how I know that the lower classes are rarely forced to marry against their will while the higher class status is the more likely that is. But that's a big thing. I don't know about the little things. I....don't know about things like hugs and when and where and with who something like that is okay. And I...I don't know how people act when...I don't know what to expect from someone who is in a bad mood. Or from a teacher when someone gets the wrong answer during a lesson. Or if someone did something that was against the rules....I don't even know the rules! I know what would have happened at home, but I want to know what to expect here," she said twisting her hands nervously in her hair as she spoke.

Smiling warmly, Anahita adds, "Well, you aren't stupid, right? The matters of guilt are not something I worry overly much about. That would be, as in this case, assuming /you/ had any control in her life's choices.

Vai blinks a few times, processing what Anahita had said. "Correct the imbalance... do you mean to kill the other version of me?" Vai asks curiously. Anahita... surprisingly... reminded her alot of Fei at times, in her speech and philosophies. It was surprisingly comforting. "And... I will try to grow and move on. You can't always choose how you feel though."
