"No. So what do you say, up for a challenge?"

"Sure."
he stops flying and starts taking off his shackles.

mentally identifies as male. no actual gender rune forged prototype piscrystal vitalist 9/soul-knife (soul-bolt/gifted blade) 9 (gsault lvl9)

sorry laptop died, phone on 9% here is kitty fixing
Skewers floats adjacent to the kitty and slowly patches him up

"Very well" He closes his eyes in concentration, picturing his home as he remembers it, his feathers burning with that red-purple hue as choatic lightning arcs across his tattoos. Suddenly, the ground around Settro is replaced with floating rocks, the sky turning a mix of green, purple, red, and blue as a large twister forms in the center, arcing and making smaller twisters as it sees fit.

Not sure if demiplane extends to this level of accuracy, but I'm going to roll with it, if it isn't I'll change it

"This is my home, Tzeentch's realm, or as the humans of my realm referred to it, The Warp"

settro's unbuckled shackles drop to the ground and do not come with him.
"Wow. This... Isn't intimidating. Seriously, in the abyss, this is a calm day. Though, less with air currents, more like a cave made of changing flesh that will swallow you whole. edit: Dispite this, this is a terrible idea. I'm not going to fly near a ****ing tornado outside the simrooms when i don't have too. Death is too high a risk. **** this!"

Male Tzeentch-Born (Outsider (Native-subtype)) 16 Wizard (Mage of the Veil)/16 Cryptic

Hearing his friends words, he visibly falters, cancelling the demi-plain with an astonished and outright sad look on his face before hiding it behind a mask of neutrality like he was taught so long ago "I am...sorry...that I scared you Settro, I forget you are still afraid of dying even after I said you wouldn't, I won't show this again"

"Thanks. I don't really like needing things from people."
He says with that slightly ashamed tone.

"Nonsense Tybalt. There's nothing wrong with having friends who you can rely on." Along with Skeets, Tyrrin helps Tybalt to get patched up - casting a healing spell or two.

With that done, and everyone healed and anything of value scooped up - Tyrrin will teleport the group back to Pyry.

How many times must people be told by Lynora to **NOT** delete posts, before it actually sticks???

Lang and Sara find Midori sitting with Hew, Grim and Sorun, all of whom appear to be finishing up their morning breakfasts. Midori smiles at waves a golden hand to the pair upon spotting them, bright and cheerful this morning.

The 'sick' firebird looks up from his place by the chest, the snow leopard sitting within arm's reach.

"Did you, um, get the book or are you leaving?"

he picks up his shackles from the ground.

Lang waves back.

He heads on over to the group. you would think Lang has a female entourage entering the cafeteria, with Ignace on one side and Sara on the other.

He heads on over and takes a seat

I have some great news for everyone. Master Blackscales has approved all of you to go with me to my home in the East for the ceremony. and she said she would also be going.

Lang smile hoping everyone else is shareing in his excitement.

I promise you all can ride the owls, so two more should be arriving very soon. I just want to know who all wants to go with me back to my home temple?

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

"Well both I guess, we could take you with us if you want"

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

"Thanks. I just feel weird needing things from people after going alone for so long. Not quite used to having real friends yet, I guess." He smiles.
After the group is teleported he sits on the ground.
"Hi Pyry. We're back. Would you like to go back with us maybe? We'd love to have you at the school. If I can make it there, you can too."
He says with a "warm" smile.
Fun with Irony!

Male Tzeentch-Born (Outsider (Native-subtype)) 16 Wizard (Mage of the Veil)/16 Cryptic

"You fade away if you do right?" he flys down to the ground, his feathers blue again, flapping his wings to slow himself before planting his feet on the ground and waiting for Settro to lead him to the simrooms.

"Not even. Fading allows a demon to go back into the abyss and be reborn into another consciousness. Not me. I got the worst of both sides. I have a soul. But it dies with my body. I just stop. Nothing."
settro clasps his shackles back on.

"I did think about it... I'd like to try and go. I think she does too." He indicates the cat nearby. "She didn't leave after you left."

With a slight shrug at Vai's re-defining, Anahita says, "The important thing is whether someone or something opts to act. Do we will to act, or let the universe sort out the balance? It's possible we are the means by which this diffusion will occur. As enjoyable as talking about the options are, that's the bottom line. Act, or not? What do you want to do? I'm not too related to this situation, yet, though in some ways-- the only imbalance I can say exists is that the other Vai is an intruder here, while you are the native. That is disruptive, in many ways." Then with a light smile she looks off for a moment, then back.

"I am unsure, of the specifics, I did not have a choice-- nor I might add, did I seem to care, when the days of roaming the wilderness was ended and a visit to the man, who dismissed me after he did his work, was concluded. My guide, who I believe was either the Dawnflower or an assistant of hers, led me to him and I did nothing to resist the call." That doesn't seem to do much to Anahita's expression, which remains a bit bland and indifferent.

"And now, here I am, deposited at this school. Clearly, to learn. Which I have done much of, and have much...

"If... we should probably act against her, though... when the time comes I'm not sure I should go. I... I think I'm more vunerable to her mind control spells because of the nature of what we are. That probably means that she's almost more vulnerable to mine... but... I don't like casting those spells." Vai's face darkens slightly at that, but she shakes her head, clearing away those thoughts.

"That... honestly that doesn't sound very positive Anahita. Who is the Dawnflower? I mean... does it bother you? Maybe we can reverse it somehow." Vai asks, just a little nervous at Anahita's seeming indifference to being so meddled with: it didn't sit right with Vai.

Male Tzeentch-Born (Outsider (Native-subtype)) 16 Wizard (Mage of the Veil)/16 Cryptic

"That would be heaven compared to what I have to go through, my body fades and my soul is sent back there to be judged. Get it right, and I'm back, get it wrong and I'm torn to shreds by Tzeentch" he shivers, remembering the last one to really mess up was actually eaten alive by Tzeentch.

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

He speaks catfolk to the leopard, something close to the native language of felines.
[Kitty Speak]"You're very pretty. Would you like to go to the school with us?"[/kitty speak]
"I'm glad you think that."
He unclasps one of his medallions and hands it to him.
"I want you to have this. It will keep you cool while you're at the school. Unintentional rhyme. They can't keep the hallways as freezing cold as we'd like."

"Yes.but if you're torn to shreds, your soul still leaves. You used to be human, and you never died. If you failed him, odds are another god owns you now. the ones that get judged and fail are most likely corner cases, because those that would be judged are most likely already taken. Also, you get a second chance if you pass this "judgement". I don't have anything of the sort."

"This will stretch the limits of my teleportation capabilities. David, Oneiro or Tybalt, are any of you able to return to the school on your own power?" Tyrrin says, thinking of the obstacles before actually responding to Pyry.

When she does though, her voice is considerably more tender, and she kneels in front of the boy. "I understand that it will be hard and frightening to try a new thing after you'lve been alone so long, but you can always rely on me Pyry. I will everything in my power to help you adapt. The first thing we can do is make sure you are cool enough that you won't be uncomfortable at the school, alright?" She smiles and nods as Tybalt hands his medallion to Pyry. "See? You already have friends who will help you."

"What is your friend's name?" she asks, motioning to the cat.

Midori nods her head in respect to Lang, smiling still and says. "You have my answer already Lang-kun, it has not changed. I would be honoured to attend. I am glad Blackscales-sensei is coming, as I do not believe it would be polite of me to turn your home to metal."

"I can get some of us back to the drop point, at least. I can't go super far all at once. If anyone doesn't mind getting stuffed in my pocket, I can take everyone at once. I don't really know how far away we are."

Male Tzeentch-Born (Outsider (Native-subtype)) 16 Wizard (Mage of the Veil)/16 Cryptic

"Didn't we have this discussion before? The options you could take? Going into a gods realm and asking permission to stay in death? or perhaps because of your heritage you'll become one yourself. Me, I'm just second-born of Tzeentch, lucky if I even become a demon-prince, but I digress

"Yes, but i can't actually die to do that. I have to plane shift. I'm afraid to even try that though, because odds are they'd kill me the second i entered their realm."

"If we go back to the drop point like Tybalt suggests, we should all get transported back."

Male Tzeentch-Born (Outsider (Native-subtype)) 16 Wizard (Mage of the Veil)/16 Cryptic

"Gods are omnipotent correct, what have you done that would have their wrath be an acceptable answer?" he folds his wings behind his back, looking at Settro with calm and serious eyes.

"One, no. they are nowhere near omnipotent.
and two- Being a demon."
he sits down in the grass, actually a little saddened for a moment, but he perks right up.
"I'm so lucky. I get to see this beautiful world of life and wonders... Honestly, the one thing i cherish is my thoughts and memories.... And they are something that i know will be eventually taken away, even if i become a god, eventfully, i will die."
*sigh*

He checks his watch.
"2:57. Pretty close. I'm sleeping in tomorrow. . . ."
"You're welcome. I can make a new one for myself when I get back. Your friend says she'll go with you. She also calls you Cold Feathers, which is adorable."
He purrs quietly. Things were finally working out for once.
"Didn't you talk to the school earlier Ghalen? Could you call them and ask if there's a way to pick up our new friends as well?"

Male Tzeentch-Born (Outsider (Native-subtype)) 16 Wizard (Mage of the Veil)/16 Cryptic

Upon hearing that gods aren't omnipotent, his face goes dark before brightening back up "Father has some explaining to do then. You may be a demon, but you can't help who you are. I deserve destruction, only slightly, because I made the choice and am paying for it. You don't deserve that." he pats Settro on the back, his hand never staying too long so as not to have his emotions unintentionally sapped "Treasure the memories, their all we have, whether human, demon, or otherwise."

"C-cold Feathers? That's... accurate. Wish I'd given her a name now..."

"Well... Gods are very powerful, and are made more powerful by the number of mortals, and immortals with a soul worshipping them. They fight a constant war, but with many, many rules dictating it. They don't fight each other directly to avoid tearing reality apart. Instead, you are their war. Worshipers try and convert more worshippers, Devine servants interfere... Some people become more like their god by Devine or profane gift, and serve them more closely, like you. There are many, many rules to how this works, though low-power gods can avoid most of them. Being a god is basically paperwork, paperwork, and more paperwork. This is only scratching the surface of the nightmare that is Devine politics."

he looks away from you, unable to make eye contact.
"And as for destruction... Y-yeah, i d-don't deserve it... I don't..."

Looking off for a few moments, Anahita turns back and says, "That is your choice though not being involved when you might know the adversary the best, is a possible loss, not to mention the apparently no longer unique appointment you willingly are a party too."

She shifts slightly then stops to look at a small bug on her finger, crawling along for a few moments. After that and a smile, she puts the creature down off to the side looking back at Vai saying, "The Dawnflower is one of the primary deities of Golarion, the world where I am from. She is the goddess of the Sun, Fire and Redemptiveness, if I recall the things I have heard of her faith. She is known by many names, a winged woman with scimitar of purest flame and hair made of sunfire and sunlight. Sarenrae, Everlight, among other titles and names. I only assume she is who or an agent of who I think her to be due to a ...well, gut feeling. If one cannot trust such as she, then, what is one to do? I feel no concern or doubt, it has passed, she introduced me to a man, he did things and then that passed, and now I am here. Oddly enough, I've never felt a need to be any one place, so perhaps that explains it. Home is where I lay my head down to rest, perpetually traveling."

It does not appear to bother her in the least given her expression, though she does seem to dwell on the thought a moment.

"Why not positive? What was it that I said or did to imply otherwise?"

Again, Vai shakes her head while sitting there on the grass. "I would be a danger to anyone who came with me. She's already mind controlled me and forced me to attack my friends once, during yesterday's attack."

"I... maybe I misunderstood. It just... sounded like some strange man did things to you without your consent.. or without giving you a choice... maybe my mind just finds darker places when I think of such things. I have not had a happy past before coming to Avalon." Vai says, once again just a little grim in her speech, not seeming to notice the ever-more verdant area they are sitting in. "If it's not a problem though... if you don't care what he did, then I won't talk about it again. It just seemed strange... though I admit that you're quite strange to me, Anahita" At that she actually blushes, realizing what she had said. "Er." she stammers. "I mean, not that it's a bad thing, mind."

Rena breaks into a brilliant smile at seeing Bradley well atop the roof, and she unfolds her wings and flutters over to him, letting go of Asha and Tryko'Sam upon first arriving. The wind from her sudden flapping and movement is just enough to make the skirt somewhat inappropriate for just a moment, and though it was obviously unintenional on Rena's part, she doesn't seem to mind. "Good morning Bradley!" she says brightly, landing daintily next to him and giving him a light peck on the cheek. "I have some friends I'd like you to meet."
