She had decided after the conversation with Fei and Vare, that finding this crater Fei spoke of, and wanting help with, would be a wise place to study for preparing.

Doing so in the past had helped her much, so it made sense to repeat the tradition again. Without much effort, she moved without taking a step, or rather, each 'step' was another jaunt via the Champion teleport, making travel a thing of thought, and not action. She didn't notice.

Jivana's constant conversation with her-- or merely her constant steam of sharing, was becoming familiar, not as much a distraction, as much as another sense, she was gathering. Quite similar to maintaining a detection spell of any sort with duration while walking and-- well, not so much walking.

Then, in the sky, the silvery fire glow of something aflame. Reflecting on the hue and coloration, the still huge fire bear shaped elemental form of Anahita moved off, to find a vantage point, and eventually gaze upon where it landed before the flames ended.

It was the intriguing Champion of Courage, carrying someone-- another Champion, and two more followed suit in their own manner. She took a few moments to dwell on this, perhaps a good hundred or more yards away in the night, before taking a step closer.

-----

The shape of a thirty two foot tall, fire bear, appears behind Fei, some twenty feet or so away, just as Fei finished his bow to the other two. It's eyes took in the scene quickly in the dark, night being no hindrance, and then asked, "Fei, Champion of Courage, is this a private affair, or am I not interrupting?"

The bear of fire, now of dark red hues and dark orange, oddly enough not illuminating the area and rather silent save for the speech of a young girl's, Anahita's if memory serves anyone who'd spoken to her previously, inquires of the monk with Keme.

After a moment of study, Anahita asks simply, "Why is this being injured and not tended too?" Her tone and manner merely suggest curiosity, nothing more.

Ace stumbles back several steps, as the flaming bear appears, staff raised into a fighting position. When it speaks with the voice of Anahita, he sighs in relief "What in the Nine Hells are you thinking?! No, scratch that, clearly you are not! After everything that's gone on today, you came very close to having your life ended by my blade! What ever possessed you to take the form of a massive flaming bear, you foolish woman!!" The young man is clearly upset.

"Always with the generous bounty of good cheer, Casil. I see the days have done little to alter your temperament. To be fair, I did not see you-- only Fei. Though, now that I am close, I see you clearly-- and hear you."

She then nods politely at Ryuzo before returning her attention to Fei.

Dunno if you have an Aura of Championship or not, Ace-- please feel free to share if you do, I haven't been keeping exact track if you're hired or not.

Nope, not yet

He takes a deep, calming breath, centering himself "Sorry, I've been in the very heart of all that has gone on today, from protecting Jaiye and Ehos so they don't die, to dealing with first normal Vai and her evil counterpart, making sure my girlfriend wasn't killed by a psycho student, getting hit with the death, and rebirth of Kitty and more. So yea, little wound up. You'll have to forgive me, your beatificness"

Carl, the datapads are free for students at Avalon and are usually available in several different classrooms. While quite a few of them were lost when the magic items crafting lab went boom, there are a few scattered in other places such as the library, the alchemy lab, and the basic mechanics classroom. Right now items that could grant telepathy would have to be bought in town...tomorrow. It's nighttime. The shops are closed.

"It certainly does not sound as if the school is having an enjoyable-- unless this is someone's idea of fun, weekend thus far. Perhaps I will reconsider my staying off school grounds this weekend after all. Interesting. So more than just the explosions and such, that Professor Vare spoke of."

Her bear face looks thoughtful, as she slumps slowly down to a bear butt sitting position, looking quite bear like in her mannerisms.

"It makes me curious who all is responsible, and more importantly, the exact why."

Ardiente still looks troubled, though given Villem's calm and unthreatening manner, Ardiente relaxes his defensive posture, dropping his guard ever so. Ardiente's own face also reddens slightly at Villem's... assertion that Raelle was his mate.

"Ah... you're mistaken in at least once thing, Villem. Raelle and I are not a mated pair. Raelle is a friend of mine." he interjects from behind his smokey and patterned girl in front of him.

Ardiente's still standing a little stiffly - clearly diplomacy was not his forte. He wasn't really sure how to conduct himself here. Other Firebirds he had spoken to thus far had been decidedly less talkative. "And I apologize, but I do not have a last name anymore. I was of House Fuerte, but that house is now defunct. I am houseless." There is a slight wavering in his voice at that - clearly still a fresh wound for the young firebird, but he remains stoic nonetheless.

"I had heard that there was more beyond Agartha, yes, and have even met several who are from the expanse of darkness that the new sky revealed." Ardiente motions to the sky, though the roof obviously blocks any view of that.

"As for leadership of our people... that has yet to be decided. There are those who have stepped forward to assist our people in relocating to a suitable place where we can rebuild. It is part of the reason we are extending a talon to all the abjured. Us Firebirds cannot be divided now. We need to all work together if we're to continue as a race."

"He is a nine-tailed kitsune..." Honestly not too sure how Genosuke looks, but Vai ought to know. She's been here 4 months after all ;P

Vai gives a brief description of the Professor as she and Arthur make their way up to the schoolgrounds. Once there, Vai triggers the arrows to lead them to Genosuke....

Finding him dealing with students in the cafeteria, Vai somberly walks up to the older man."Excuse me, Professor? Um... I need you to come with me. Keme needs you."

Oh yeah the ceremony, while I was away I completed all of my tests, I am to be elevated to Sifu, or master air bender. this grants me permission to teach my art to others. also, I believe representatives of the other temples are coming for me to be presented as the new Avatar

Midori doesn't seem to bothered by the fact that she'll have to leave her weapons behind. "Lang-kun, if I am to enter your home, I will not question your honour by bringing my weapons into there uninvited." She says evenly, which is apparently a big step for the girl who, just a week past, would not have set aside her weapons for longer than a few minutes at a time.

"I am very glad that you are so accomplished, Lang-kun, and I would very much like to be present for this ceremony in your honour. I... may attempt to finish Chara-chan's kimono tonight, so we can have our tea party in the morning tomorrow."

Watching the reactions of the two young Firebirds, it's evident that Villem appears bemused at the individual reactions. If nothing else, he does appear /very/ perceptive.

"I am so much more than what the Council abjured me of, so much. It was the friend, who warned me, yes, Raelle. She guided me here, gave me assistance where others would not. She mentioned the visit of a pair, youths, with intriguing colors. Especially the purple plumage, and the delightful patterns."

Villem grins and then says, "Kuros then, perhaps I shall visit. That is on this plane of existence, correct? Still on the planet Agartha-- or have the Firebirds realized their true destiny in the Plane of Fire?"

Male Firebird Monk (Master of Many Styles, Martial Artist) 16 // Firebender 8/Earthbender 8

"The purple plumage is the legacy of my Grandfather... he was a dragon. I am a quarter Dragon." Ardiente says with a little shrug, as if the information was just something he felt Villem should know, displaying no emotion of his own, if any existed. "Yes, if you have a a map of Agartha I could mark it for you. Or if you simply know where the Avalon school is, the town is nearby."

"Well, if you would like to suggest the Plane of Fire as a place for our people to inhabit, you're welcome to come to the camp and share that."

"Who is this beneficent friend of yours? Another firebird?" he asks, and there is a touch of curiosity in his voice, but mostly he seems to just attempting to be polite by carrying the coversation.

Villem grins at Ardiente's apparent curiosity, where earlier there was just the eagerness to depart.

"A very, luminous and enlightening female. We have learned much, I, especially, by her teachings and instructions. The things ... I have gained, remarkable."

When he speaks of this female, he does sound, quite impressed and respectful.

He does, however, seem to wait on Raelle's next, if any, comments or questions-- seeming to give her the time to ask before speaking.

Keme appears to have been electrocuted. Also he is covered in magics to prevent healing of any form. Since she is a champion the aura that comes from the detect magic isn't blinding, but it clearly originated with a Patron, and all signs point to that Patron being Hope.

She yawns.
"Ya. I'm going to bed. Let's all meet at breakfast tomorrow."
She picks up Cariban.
She stays for any last things before heading to bed.

Just like she'd had a very long day and perhaps a crisis or two too many.

"I understand, and I do not wish to tax you further, so please take your time with this request. I was simply looking to have a pair of those communication devices I have heard being used. It may help us to better respond if such a thing happens again." Vare also sounds a bit worn, but he steps a little closer to the head of security. "Is there anything I can do to assist you? My magic is mostly spent.. but I will do what I can. This has been a very trying day for us all, and we will all need each other in the days to come, I suspect."

"I... if at all possible, as well. I... cannot see properly, and I was wondering if there was a device that could read aloud texts of lore and such for me." He continues on, having made it offer of assistance. If nothing else, this younger teacher seems very compassionate, if not wholly... present sometimes.

"Would you mind If I came along? I know I'm not much help, with sewing." Zilla asks Midori with hopeful eyes.

Midori looks away again at the mention of Hew, perhaps indicating that he was what was troubling her. She still graciously accepts Zilla's offer to come along though. "Of course Zilla-chan, I would be very happy for your company."

"How long do we have, and how exactly are you aware of this? I profess knowing very little of these Patrons and their methods, but, why would a creature that seeks the spread of Hope seek to squash it's accepted conduit? More importantly, do you act as Fei, or as the Champion of Courage in this scenario? Is Hope seeking to lure Courage to act against it and thus, cause an issue? I apologize if the questions are ...off, but, do you act out of concern for Keme's well being primarily, or as an agent of Courage? What of you two? What are your goals in this? How often do these chaotic events occur here?"

Having asked her questions, Anahita studies Keme, having finally learned the fox tailed shifter's name, to see if any information were forthcoming by her senses, including a detect magic to aid in her study.

"Despite the aspects they represent, it appears that the Patrons always...jockey with each other for positions of power and dominance. Keme's patron, Esperanza...is attempting such a political maneuver now, and trying to ally with Lumos, the Patron of Light. To what end I do not know yet. Keme told us this much before Esperanza silenced him. 'She' is trying to break his will now, so our time is limited."

"And I am acting as a healer. To free Keme from this before everything that is 'him' is lost. He is suffering, and that should not be. That is all that matters to me at the moment."

"Yeah, I have to admit I'm a fan of this too...it feels good to be touched," she said before frowning at the food. "Uh...do you have a fireplace or something? Cause I need to burn some of this before I can eat it. Firebird thing. We can't eat raw food like this. It would make me sick."

Nodding at Asha, Tryko'Sam focused a moment and the room shifted into a fairly high tech looking place, complete with a large fireplace, flames lapping away within.

He brought the food over for her and says, "Here you go, food to be burnt. Seems as if things are calming a bit out there, I believe the primary infirmary is back up, maybe, and the cafeteria is seemingly winding down. Might just be folks going to their rooms- I suppose. Anything you two want to do, or just hang out tonight? I just want to be sure you two are comfortable and enjoying yourselves. I'm still new here myself... Just arrived a day or so ago."

He idly examined the room's structure and layout while talking as if looking for something. The pictures that were present were all very blurry.

"Oh, umm...sure. I can get you communicators...umm...do you have a preference about form? Cause it can be a wristband, headband, subdural implant...whichever....but it will have to wait until I get my lab facilities back. But the reading thing is easier. If you bring me a datapad I can adjust it to do that for you easily. Wouldn't take more than a minute."

"As far as assisting goes I don't know that there's anything more that can be done tonight. I'm pretty tired honestly. I spent the afternoon throwing up, morning sickness is such a misnomer, and then all of this. I was plugged in to the network trying to fix it when the EMP went off. I was all healed and thankfully the babies weren't hurt. But I'm pretty tired. I should have all the security systems repaired everywhere but my lab now. Getting my lab back online will have to wait until tomorrow. I have it quarantined for now. So unless you can help with unloading the extra supplies brought in to make up for what was destroyed...We lost so much. The infirmary, the materials and supplies building, the magic item crafting lab, my lab....Sorry. I'm...a bit distractable now. It's hard to get my mind off all the check-lists of things that need to be done to get things back up and running. This was a disturbingly efficient attack well-designed to make it difficult for us to recover."

"The only thing I can think of is if you could ask the cafeteria if I could please have a few gallons of warm milk?"

"Thank you Lang-kun." Midori says evenly back to him as the group begins to break up. "Zilla-chan and I will see you in the morning." she says to everyone gathered, including the departing Sara. "Oyasumi nasai, mina-san." she says, bending down to pick up the cat, who obviously wants attention. "Hello, neko-chan. Are you coming with Zilla-chan and I?"

She and Zilla move away from the group and towards the sewing room...

Anahita nods after her study and scan of Keme. "Powerful magics preventing any effort to heal, I can sense the Patron of Hope's hand in this. Though, again, why in this manner? Are the Champions not willingly aiding the Patrons? With all due respect, why do you hesitate? You appear committed and certain. I would not doubt your analysis, you are a senior in these matters. To let him suffer further, is merely aiding the Patron, by my understanding. Either fueling Keme's Hope to be spared or stop the Patron, or fueling the Patron's Hope you will hesitate, or fail. This situation is probably much simpler, but I find my thinking over analytical since my arrival to this world. My constant talking is a by product of-"

Anahita falls quiet, perhaps realizing she is blathering.

"What is needed here is mercy. If you wish my help, Fei, though you are obviously not alone with these two here, you need but ask."

While not outright saying she'd help end Keme, she does question the delay if the choice is clear to Fei.

Her attention then turns around to the crater beneath and around them. Under her fire bear rump, small blades of grass and critters are growing at remarkable speed where she makes contact with the ground. Even her mere presence now after the short back and forth, clearly brings a sense of life's energy to anyone sensitive to feel such.

When he speaks of this female, he does sound, quite impressed and respectful.

He does, however, seem to wait on Raelle's next, if any, comments or questions-- seeming to give her the time to ask before speaking.

Raelle had looked away at Ardiente's assertion that they were just friends. It was what she had asked for, so why did it make her feel like crying?

She had seemed alarmed and a bit uncomfortable when Villem started talking about the plane of fire. She had been right not to tell him her name. She didn't want anyone getting any ideas about using Ignace. Of course with everything Ardiente had told him it might not take him much to put the pieces together. Perhaps the earlier events of the evening were just making her overly suspicious of everyone. He didn't seem hostile.

"I am very curious about this woman as well, sir. Could you tell us more about her?" she asked politely.
