I think Tybs might've seen Vai briefly after being champion-d, but I'm not sure. I know he did when Light was torturing her, but I don't know about auras and unconciousness.

Depends on just how accurate one can get. The spell says you can't specify where lightning strikes and such, so it isn't highly accurate, it doesn't really say the entire area must be affected, so it affects as small an area as Vickory can manage, so probably only about 1/4 to 1/2 mile diameter.

Guess it really depends on 'rules light' -- if you go by spell description in Pathfinder, it's 2 miles radius affected, 3 miles if you're a druid.

Welp, no biggie then, I'd imagined the 10 mile or more affect, or 1 mile + 2 / 5 levels of caster thing-- something like that.

Ears are in rough shape after yesterday's fireworks. They were awesome. We went to my father in law's place since he lives on a lake and one of the neighbors with more money than sense paid for a professional display, so we all got to enjoy it for free. :D
The down side of this is that I can barely manage sitting up today. Menniere's + fireworks = pain and lots of falling down. Still can't quite work out which way is up. So today I rest. Is not optional.

Just had a lovely watermelon tasting (puree) margarita, and it was stupendous. The tacos are quite tasty too-- and the salsa is made by hand, so good.

Nope. Krays is not there. One of the masters at the temple agreed to chaperone the children until he or Ephebe could return.
He's currently warning his family of Champion shenanigans.
"Champion shenanigans" the reason I should cancel the ceremony.
Maybe when these "Champion shenanigans" are resolved I'll try again.

The champion shenanigans have nothing to do with the ceremony...and Lang is unaware of them, as it were.
You could just write up a scene about the ceremony. Ask for the other attendees' input and just write the scene. That would make more sense than cancelling the ceremony after all the trouble to get people there.
Just my 2 cents.
