Ugh. This week sucks. Will probably be pretty scarce today. I have a massive amount of cleaning to do, errands to run, and a character to finish for tomorrow's RL game. We shall see how my group likes the gender fluid inquisitor/swashbuckler who thinks he's the best thing in the history of ever.:)

CT scan shows it isn't appendicitis. They think it was a ruptured cyst, which means there's nothing to do but try and manage the pain. So basically a night in the ER for nothing...well, not entirely nothing, I guess. The morphine helped a little. Otherwise it was just a long painful night. :(
Scary night, Lyn. Glad you didn't have to go into surgery, but sorry you had to deal with that scare and the pain.

Damn that sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. My wife gets ovarian cysts and when those rupture its like a grenade exploding in her abdomen, painful and sickening.
Oxy and a stiff drink followed by watching her favorite movies on the couch usually help, although she tends to leave the remote in strange places during those times, like in the fridge or bathroom =D

Got some sleep at home. Feeling a bit better now, though still a lot of pain. At its worst it was approaching the pain level of surgery without anaesthetic. (The anesthesiologist screwed up bad when I had my c section.) It wasn't as bad as that. I only involuntarily screamed the one time. But it was definitely getting up there. Your wife has my sympathies Yuugasa. Ovarian cysts suck big time.
In happier news, we adopted two kittens today. I had been working hard all week to buy all the stuff and get the house ready. My husband is working from home tomorrow so he can help me take care of them since I still have limited ability to move around. They're almost five months old. One is a grey tiger striped girl we are naming Eris, and the other is an all black boy we are naming Mordin.
