No, captain wombat is on hiatus, which means he fades to background character. The hammershaft will likely be stored in orbit after its done being used in this scene

Ummm..... Arthur... Math is foundation of engineering... not the other way around. basically what it says is you have to know how to work on machines in order to do addition multiplication,subtraction and division.
The Wizard, and how it is described, uses complex Equations in order to create desired effects

I'll politely disagree on being the causer of changed mission parameters.
Leaping into a den of high level casters, boldly and brashly, while blowing NPCs away, might have had something to do with it.

You are running that plot. Thus, any changes to plot are yours to make.
While yes, the PCs actions do in fact contribute, its solely the purview of the storyteller to change what happens.
If the PCs were expecting to go in, kill some demons and save the princess(So to speak) and then you throw in an NPC who says "Sorry heroes, the princess is another castle" that's your decision. You could have had things go exactly as the PCs planned, but you changed things, in the face of their actions.

Not that im upset about it or anything. But shell games are usually the GMs fault :P
I can guarantee, though, that Casseus would most likely let Sam twist next time.
I'd just leave him at this point, he wanted to save her, and it would be conter-productive to just give her to them.

Was trying to engineer things so that scenes came together at a particular timing, but missing players makes that less easy. Will try and get this in as soon as I am able. My apologies for the delayed reply. I've been sick the last few days and currently can barely manage sitting up to type. I used all my energy last night pretending to not be sick long enough for the every other week gaming session.
Speaking of scenes in limbo, Kryzbyn, I think you can have Aleq move ahead without continuing to wait for a reply from Repp. i'm not sure what's up with FCD, but I have tried PMs and email and no response yet. Hoping he's okay. :/
