Looking at the boiling light, Serass nods idly. "THANK YOU GOD OF THE SUN AND FLAME, I ACCEPT YOUR GIFT, THE MERMISH FOLK WOULD DO WELL TO KNOW OF THE GLORY OF THE LIGHT ABOVE."

Serass begins to think of the ways that the Merfolk should live and advance, his lower half changing from a strong tail, to octopus legs...

The simi solid mass in front of him smiles and reaches out his hand and puts it in the ground. He holds it there for a second before pulling on something below the surface and bringing it near to the top. Next he shapes small mounds in the dirt before breathing out fire and light into the hole and punching the ground, forcing dozens, possibly hundreds of copies of the mound to appear along the ground.
He steps back admiring his creation seeing that it was good.
He turns to his water counterpart "well then, what do you think?"

*Meanwhile, on the Sun
Magnus, his form that of a cobalt elf, looks down where the shard of his power presents the gift to the water king, he grins, glad that he had found a way to not have to go down to the place so cold and dark, his grin turns feral as he thinks not so cold or dark anymore
He looks around at his own domain finding it not quite to his liking he expands the sun, expands it beyond the physical space of it's existance, pushing it till he creates an entire new plane of existance, he smiles, pleased at the new room and at how the star itself existed dually in both planes, a sort of window between them.
Despite the new room he wasn't quite satisfied, his world for all it's massive size was featureless, he focuses his will, forcing the flames to condense and soldify, transforming into burnished brass and gold, forging itself into a massive city, the first city.
Doing so consumed much of the surrounding flame leaving a large egg shaped mass of empty space in which the city floated, he decided to emulate the creations of his fellow gods, creating a complete world. He tries to make the dirt and clay made by the dweller of crystals and succeeds in making a red dirt like substance imbued with firethink minecraft netherac, studded with yellow glowing gemstones that he dubbed sun stone. Surrounding this mass of dirt he places a lake of lava, thus reaching the shell of fire that exists around the island.

Cryrsanidun watched Serass recede into the ocean depths without comment. Part of its essence was already away in the Elemental Plane of Earth, grinding stone and crystal and writing new formula for the Song that pervaded its every waking moment. Plans were being drawn out, new structures etched down to the molecular level. And, sometimes, on a much larger scale.

Back in the world, the plates of the earth began to grind and press against each other. The world groaned, and long, precise cracks broke out along the planet's surface -- above and below sea level. These cracks in the earth gleamed and flickered with light, like transcontinental sigils, before the world moaned again, and these cracks suddenly broke out towards the sky, grinding and twisting the crevasses into expertly-carved mountains and valleys.

On the surface of the world, Cryrsanidun carved the first runes.

Rune Magic is a way to collect the ambient energies of the world into specific formations -- sigils and patterns -- that can be invoked by the knowledgable to create specific effects. Aya felt a disturbance in the wind. Small at first so she paid it no mind. Then it grew until her attention was drawn downward, towards the grinding earth her own thought interupted as mountains were formed. She flew around them studying them for a time and would land on one her claws carefully touching it as not to actually harm the creation.

Pondering many things she decided it was time to pool her power and gather it to herself. She went in search of the Sapphire Architect.

"Your creations are beautiful and I had thought to create the same magic. But, your magic has a solidity to it that is befitting runes." She flutters a wing in thought. "Are our children doing well?" she asks clearly deep in thought as she moved very little. The glowing symbols on her flesh pulsed with energy. They resembled his runes in a more flowing script, but would change from time to time.

He felt her gathering power as she pulled it to her to acquire new domains. The domain of Air and the domain of travel.

"I am thinking of a way to create something similar but more temporary. At least in comparison to the earth itself. Something I could teach our children to make." She materializes some sort of blank fine material. She would write on it and he would see the makings of a simple symbol. Only after she said a word a small magical jeweled bunny jumped out of the page and leaped around for a short while before disappearing. "There is more than just scrolls. It is other Various things but I wanted to make the concept of all of their creations. I wanted to see if you wanted to make your own contribution."

Basically she is making Legendary Concept: Magic Item Creation. She is asking if he wants to claim one of the specific types, like potions, scrolls, wands, weapons, armor ect. Those would cost as a magical concept.

"I am also thinking of creating a race that mines for precious jewels and such to give our children but have determined I do not want to ruin your creation. Also, they will understand how to dive into the waters to find pearls and coral. I will make a moon they can mine for minerals and metals on and bring them back to the world. Also where they can hunt for precious things in the waters of their home." With that she started making a small race. At first they resembled miniature dragons, but then she put them on two legs and gave them a straighter spine. They had claws that could dig but also had delicate enough digits they could form tools. They still had a long neck and she adjusted their eyes for underground living. Giving them the ability to see in the dark and also sense heat. Though they were weak they were highly intelligent. She gave them a form of communal telepathy that would allow them to communicate far and wide, but only with each other.

Then she turned her attention to the sky and wove a beautiful moon, its sky a prismatic sheen constantly shifting as you watched. It had rivers and valleys and mountains. Small seas and full of small life perfect for her little creations. She took them there and would start the basics of teaching them all she had taught the dragons before she would teach them how to teleport.

At the word "children" there is a momentary lack of recognition from Cryrsanidun, until the omniscience of divinity gives it insight. "...hthth-The-Dragons-of-the-Earth-survive-vethetho-though-they-are-much-more-your-children-than-mine-nenlvl-Flighty-and-bored-and-manipulating-the-earth-and-stone-just-to-see- what-they-can-do-oouou...nnenan-And-yet-they-make-the-most-pleasing-noises-eehieh..."

Indeed, the dragons of the earth had picked up their mother's great wanderlust--they constantly sought out new caves and lairs, molded them to their own liking, and eventually moved on. As a side effect, those caves and tunnels in the earth closest to the surface were slowly being covered with stone effigies of dragons and palace-like complexes of stone and crystal. The earth dragons rarely delved too deep into the earth--at night, many would climb to the surface and bellow great songs to the sky. The music pleased Cryrsanidun, but it was more a gift to Aya Storm herself, as the dragons sang in the words she had given them--both to praise the gods that gave them a world and life, and to communicate with each other across their vast territories.

Some earth dragons had already burrowed into the fresh mountain peaks of the world, and found that with the rush of wind and stern control of hard earth, they could create tunnels that sang and howled as they did. Dragons who crafted such "singing caves" quickly became well-regarded among their kind.

In regards to Aya's proposal, however, Cryrsanidun was as stiff as it had been to Serass. "...enenan-And-what-is-the-purpose-of-these-things?-gssts-Toys-for-those-that-travel-the-earth-and-sky-we-create?-atwetwe-We-can-give-them-any-power-they-require-rewewi-With-the-runes-I-can-codify-the-world-to-the-notes-of-the-song-gubube-By-comparison-your-proposal-seems-so-sosesem-small-llelau..."

Her lips curled back showing sharp teeth as she smiled at the Sapphire Architect. "Ahh, it may seem small but every song has subtle notes. Not always the large booming notes like out children can sing. But the soft simple ones that the wind or the slow grinding of your earth creates. Think of it like a hidden melody. These items will create note changes without damaging the song in its entirety. Allows them to play and flex before they use your runes to make more permanent changes. So they can test what notes they wish to add."

She flexed her wings and stretched in his cavern. "And children do like to play. This satisfies it while still giving them something to hand to those that serve them as rewards. So they may share their power without giving their true power over."

She watched as the little dragon moved around studying things and she manifested a multihued gemstone and handed it to the little creature.

It studied the gem with fascinated eyes and as she created tools for it. Finally noticing the tools it would look up at the Sapphire Architect and then to Aya before it got to work polishing and cutting the stone. Soon a beautiful, but strong representation of the world was created and held up. Though the gem was multihued it now had a distinct sapphire sheen.

Serass looks on silently, and then begins to shift some of the sea life.

Coral begins to flourish, scallops and fish begin to swim and swirl, the merfolk gather.

A pair of dragons, one as green as the earth god's emerald, the other shining silver begin to dance above the vent.

Serass's hands work invisibly in the ocean currents, bringing stone and other tiny particles together to form a large, white, blue and green surface, that begins to grow, tiny fractal pieces reflect purples, blues, greens, and even scintillating rainbows. The volcanic vent is now the center of a city of coral and marble. Fish swim through the open windows and doors, the Merfolk murmur in wonder.

Cryrsanidun watched Aya Storm's demonstration with blank stoicism. Finally it spoke again, the shard's constantly throbbing finding new words as it reached back into the world's aether. "...vivethe-Then-time-will-tell-what-song-spurs-the-earth-thuthe...vupeba-But-today-I-strike-the-first-notes-and-warm-the-choir-ireror..."

On the face of the world, the eight First Runes began to glow, and hum, vibrating in the same toneless droning of the crystal god. With a groan that rattled bones and echoed impossibly through space, the world began to turn. The surface of the world slipped from the light of the sun to the glow of the stars and back again. Under the building velocity, the sky and seas were bound, guided into rivers and winds that, for all their seeming fluidity and chaos, flowed in tightly controlled algorithms and laws. The earth ground against itself, rebuilding its surface over and over again--imperceptibly slow to mortals, but the gods saw the formations to come, and fall apart, and be remade once again.

The grinding and pushing forced even the wild, quick-lived fires into their role, spewing from the bowels of the earth and forging new mountains and islands with incomprehensibly complex regularity. Even in the aether of space, the moon began to spin, dip, and dance. The sun flickered, flared, and churned, and the stars of the sky slowly glided along the edge of reality.

Day became night became day. Life died and rebloomed. Mountains were destroyed by wind and river and rebuilt by fire and quake. As Cryrsanidun weaved the first great and terrible law of reality, all of the gods could feel its invisible web settling over and around them. Only the gods themselves, and their planar domains, were untouched.

Magnus paces in his citadel thinking pensively the stone god is beginning to exert his controll on the others, the water god is unstable, and the dragon is fickle, can't be predicted, I need something to make me more powerful should they try to attack me or demand something of me, I could play the earth and water gods against each other, hmm no I shall save that for a last resort, I don't know if anything will even happen, no I should increase my own personal power like how my citadel does, hmm he raises his arm and examine the power simply radiating off of him hmm so much energy simply disapears from my presence, so much of my power wasted, if only I could harnase it, hmm Magnus creates a shard of himself and sends it down into the earth to take a glowing gemstone, before disappearing, he then goes to one of his volcanoes and takes a fire weed and forces it to grow much much larger and he takes a long sturdy pole of wood from the plant allong with a few of the berries and a handful of leaves, before disappearing with the items and reappearing on the sun where he forged the items together with the nether stone and gold from his own domain into a large and beautiful scepter with a glowing gem on the end. and now I have done it, I have made a staff cappable of holding my immense power and releasing it whenever I desire he grins ferally
and now for something to deal with threats small enough that I shouldn't have to be bothered by them he says as he exerts his will to create beings out of the fire, as well as transport a few of the young dragons to his citadel,

Aya's body curls up her wings surrounding her as her body slowly starts to crystalize and her ever changing winds still disappearing for a long while. Time passes as she contemplates things within the chrysalis she had formed.

Feeling the havoc wrecked on her creations she decided she should do something about it. While order and pattern was all fine and good it did not suit her at all.

With a banshee howl her chrysalis broke as she came out stronger than she was before having gained in power.

Her form now had four wings and she was even larger than before. Her scales a pale opalescence.

"I will allow you this. For everyone else I will let you hold sway. But My children and my creations will not be bound by your edict. They will forever remain free to change as they will. And add to the song how they see fit."

With a beat of her wings and a mighty roar that carried on the wind, the dragons and the small Korvads heralded her return with song and roars that echoed as her power washed over them protecting them from the divine decree. Even her flying continents were freed.

Taking her small one leaving the gem for the Sapphire architect she bowed slightly and would leave. She spread the Korvads to each of the dragon races. Giving them each their own tribes to serve them and help them gather the treasures untold from her moon.

Once again she flew freely in the air her body and wings casting a mere fleeting shadow as she patrolled the world.

Her voice raised in song as she enjoyed the freedom of the air.

With a spindly arm with an outstretched finger, Cryrsanidun reached out to the world. It poured over the landscape and seas carefully, before tapped lightly at a lonely island by the shore -- a volcanic mountain whose peak scraped the sky and whose foot nestled the seabed.

Like an ashen flower, the volcanic peak bloomed, parting open into an ashen valley, scarred with flows of fire and moaning with the grinding of earth. The air and sea lapped through this place, ridding themselves of unwanted detritus and carving their own memoirs into the walls of this last prison. Though the island was now pristine, it would in time be filled with the corpses and debris of all manner of beast, man, and machine.

Serass' body becomes grim, with tendrils as legs and three clawed hands, a cloak of coral is hanging on his back...He is an image of terror of the deep.

Rising from the deep, just as the the Caldera does, his anger rolling in just as the tide does. Twice the lord of the earth has stepped into his domain, both times he did not speak with Serass first. This is unacceptable.

Bringing his hands up, he calls the storms that he had given to the sky goddess, gathering their energy, he begins to forge a weapon from the heart of a storm and the strength of the tides. Its shape became that of a titanic hammer. Forging this weapon, which he dubs Zemetrasenie, with as much power as he dare to put into a single creation, he begins to move toward the Earth God's Domain, He creates massive beasts from the ocean currents to draw a chariot across the surface of the sea, in which he rides. He imparts this weapon with the power to make the earth crumble and rift, and create storm and tide.

Knowing that his creations are incapable of war with the land, for there they could not survive, as he reaches the coast, he alters a portion of the merfolk into a shape with legs, creating the first humans, the Zojak. These are all men, without compassion or humanity, they are beings of war. They are imparted with the knowledge of how to take food from the land and sea, and also how to craft trees into vessels that can be safe from the Earth God's wrath

I fully do not plan to wage a war on Cryrsanidun, I just plan to make my displeasure fully known and bring humans, (though right now they are only warlike to the earthen god)

Fledgling God 25/30 AP

Some time passes before Cryrsanidun is aware of the humans that are spreading across the shores of the surface. Of his creations to wage ware with, he had but two. Cryrsanidun's masses of buzzing vermin, who were largely not worth the trouble to hunt and did not even understand the concept of war. And the earth dragons, for whom the hunting of would draw more ire from Aya Storm than Cryrsanidun anyway.

On the surface world, Cryrsanidun's pride lay in the mountains. Serass had brought forth a great weapon with which he could sunder those great works, but he had not acted yet in violence, so Cryrsanidun did not react. The Zojak, meanwhile, did not even catch Cryrsanidun's eye, for they had no weapons of their own to marr the beauty of Cryrsanidun's sculpted landscapes.

What finally got Cryrsanidun's attention was when he realized that the forests around the coasts inhabited by Serass' new race were shrinking. This did not anger Cryrsanidun... but it caught his attention. What were these creatures -- Zojaks? -- doing with all those fallen trees?

The answer, for one divine instant, sent the earth lord's mind reeling.

Serass had created life... that could not survive in his own domain. Then he seeded it along the very fringes of the ocean. Then, to feed it, he had them come back into the ocean. But not with the traits necessary to survive. Instead, they took trees -- things not a part of the ocean, either -- and used them to skim the surface of the water, dipping long hooks and nets in the hopes of blindly catching the food they depending on to survive.

It was brilliant. It was absurd. It was glorious.

Cryrsanidun's "laughter" rumbled the earth all along the coast, startling many humans and their delicate operations. Ignoring their loud curses and war prayers to Serass, Cryrsanidun retreated from the world again, sending a missive to king of the seas.

Aya traveled the world visiting the various places exploring them and visiting with her children. When she once again came upon the shore she noticed the new creatures. Making herself unseen she would walk among them noticing all males.

'Well this just won't do. No way to breed and don't even have compassion or empathy. Serrass, temper your anger. Since I know you won't listen to me I will just give your males someone to help them. ' She muses to herself before collecting the wind in her claws.

The Korvads collect gems, beautiful ones from the moon, while others collect the purest of waters from the rain clouds. The rain that shows up at the end of a storm and makes rainbows. Then she reaches out and plucks just the last flame spout from smoldering magma just before it hardens.

'Eyes called gems, and skin as soft as a winds caress. A calm and compassionate heart to sooth after a storm, but passionate and wild like fire.'

She loved them and they were beautiful in many different ways. No one just alike. She looked at each male and made a female to match and counter him.

She breathed life into them and settled them near the men and taught them how to work together and be a society.

Aya also taught them what compassion and gentleness was. She also armed them with enchantment magics. These could not be used in combat but they could be used for other things.

She gently taught them how to cultivate fields and grow crops.

Also she gave them the knowledge of the four gods and how to pay homage to the one that best suited them.

Including in this she taught them all the gifts of music and mating rituals and even how to teach also.
