Teo Brissett |

Teo isn't terribly skilled at buffing, so she stands to the side, tying to make sure the enemy can't hit them all at once when it attacks.
Know. arcana 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Know. Planes 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Trying to see what I know about the devil, weaknesses, attacks, etc.

TarkXT |

Teo recognizes this as a barbazu one of the rank and file shock troopers in hell's army. While certainly not even of middling power each one is plenty a match for most mortals in single combat posessing a hardy spell resistance and toughness against non-good or non-silver attacks matched only by its combat prowess.
When the bar is moved the devil suddenly grows quiet and movement suggests that its ready to spring for better or worse. Girding yourselves for a fight the door is flung open....
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 Teo
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Aerieth
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Bloodless
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Bejis
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 Bingo
Don't feel too bad the devil still would have gone first under traditional rules by dint of his modifier.
BAD GUYS UP!
Ready to spring before you are prepared the devil lunges forward with it's wicked glaive barely deflecting off Bejis's armor saving him from a blow that was far more power than finnesse. The bruising on his chest suggesting he was only jsut saved from being sliced nearly in half. The second blow rings off his armor as well.
Lucky to not be raging actually. This guy hits like a truck. Fair warning given.
GOOD GUYS UP!

Bejis Krupt |

Lucky to not be raging actually. This guy hits like a truck. Fair warning given.
Bejis does get +1 insight(?) to AC vs. outsiders while raging, due to Rage Powers.
Is the Devil's position correct? I assumed he would be adjacent. (Otherwise we should have an AoO.)

Bloodless |

Bloodless moves into the room, pushing for the far corner Lets not just jam up the door, move through guys! fighting defensively as he does. +2 AC, AC now 20
AoO no doubt coming!
Attack 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 8 - 4 = 11
Unlikely! Doubt its a native outsider either.

Bingomite Ralorphus Tealeaf |

Raising himself upto his full stature of three foot four, Bingomite points to the barbazu. You there! He calls in a reedy voice tinged with fear. Um... lay down your arms. Or ah... well or else!
Intimidate the barbazu: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7

Teo Brissett |

"Use silver if you have it...he is resistant to weaponry not either silver or good aligned. He is also resistant to magic, so be careful!". This fight might be the death of the group, she thinks.
Delay action until all of the group goes, hoping to improve her position, so she can actually get line of sight and help a bit.

Bejis Krupt |

Did we deduct charges for the Restoration spells to return our Ability scores?
Stepping through the door to S 27, Bejis grunts, "I don't have any fancy weapons!" He then attempts to strike with his initial attack.
Greatsword (power attack): 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 7 + 1 = 17 +1 Bless for 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 3) + 10 = 19

Aerieth Deventis |

Aerieth moves to S29 and launches a silver tipped arrow at the devil.
Attack-silver arrow: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 1 + 1 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Yup, and this character continues to be unable to roll anything even vaguely resembling a decent attack.

TarkXT |

Map later but let's get things movin.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26 AoO on Bloodless
1d10 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 Damage
If hit Bloodless also takes 2 points of bleed damage.
As bloodless moves in it seems none of the old devils instincts for combat have fled him ducking under his scything blade with ease and even absorbing the brunt of BEjis's attacks with his gnarled hide. Bingo's intimidation attempts barely register as a squealing hamster as aerieth's shot is fouled by the crowded mele within.
Giving Teo a chance to take her turn before the devil retaliates otherwise will continue tomorrow evening.

Teo Brissett |

Teo moves 10 feet to the south and uses her Misfortune hex versus the devil.
DC 15 Will to avoid.

TarkXT |

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 Will save.
On the money.
Something about the devil's gibbering madness as he screams in outrage at this assault slaps aside.
"DHARGENTUUUUU I WARNED YOU! I SERVED YOU WELL! NOW I WILL RIP OUT YOUR HEART AND RAPE YOU SOOULLLL!!!!"
With that he simply throws his glaive to the ground and leaps on...
Roll 1 Bloodless, 2 Bejis
1d2 ⇒ 2
Bejis in order to rip him to pieces.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
1 hit dealing
1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 Damage.
Bloodless will take 2 more points of bleed damage on his turn.
GOOD GUYS ARE UP!

Bloodless |

Bloodless, now bloodied, swings hard at the creature with his silvered Greatsword. Snarling and angered, an Angel fighting a Devil.
Attack - 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Damage - 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 4) + 10 = 15/Silver.
Convert - 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Add Damage - 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 2) + 10 = 16/Silver.

Teo Brissett |

I was waiting to get confirmation from the fellas if we were running now, or if we are staying and fighting before posting my action.

Bloodless |

Well Bloodless committed himself to the fight to allow you guys to participate, eating AOO's to do so, so it would be pretty annoying for him to now have to eat a bunch on the way out since you guys just decided to have a change of heart about fighting all of a sudden... geez :p

Teo Brissett |

Teo moves to get a line of sight in the devil and tries her slumber hex on the monster.
DC 15 to resist.

Bingomite Ralorphus Tealeaf |

I don't have anything that can hurt him! Bingo squeaks before murmuring a prayer that causes his hand to glow with a soft light. Placing it on Bloodless's shoulder some of the mans wounds begin to knit and heal.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

TarkXT |

What's BEis slashing the bearded devil with? If he picks up the glaive and leaves those are all his actions and two Aoo's (though only one in this case). IF he picks p the glaive and attacks he'd have to drop a weapon since his greatsword is two handed. See the issue here?
As for the others....
The creature is far too gone for Teo's charms to work while Aerieth's arrows launch into the fray and do little more than make a klinking noise on the wall. Bloodlesses vicious attack proves most effective so far leaving a rending wound in the devils chest as he howls in rage and pain.
Bingomite our friend bloodless here is in a small room wiht a frenzied demon. Because Bejis is likely about to eat an AoO anyway and free you up to go do it is a consideration that you will then be adjacent to said frenzied devil at the round's end. Are you sure of this?
Once questions are answered I'll update.[/ooc]

Bejis Krupt |

What's BEis slashing the bearded devil with? If he picks up the glaive and leaves those are all his actions and two Aoo's (though only one in this case). IF he picks p the glaive and attacks he'd have to drop a weapon since his greatsword is two handed. See the issue here?
I wanted to 5 foot step out (no AoO, I thought), but I now see that the square is occupied. Given the traffic jam out the door, it looks like Bejis will stay put. Bejis views the Glaive as the goal and would rather keep both weapons than attack.

TarkXT |

Bejis picks up the glaive drawing out a vicious swipe from the bearded devil which he barely manages to duck under. Turning back to bloodless the barbazu screams in fury and attempts to rend the white hunter apart.
Both claws his and dig hard into bloodless 's side as he pulls forward and rips into his face with his spiky beard. 26 damage total plus make a fort save and take 2 additional points of bleed damage from your glaive wound..
GROUP IS UP!
Doing something different with map this time around. Check the top of the page.

Bloodless |

Yeah thanks guys, good to see we have our priorities in order.
Bloodless 1/42.
Bloodless puts it all in, knowing that these swings may be his last.
Fort Save 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 5) + 10 = 21 - Silver.

Teo Brissett |

Teo opens her mouth and utters a silent scream at the devil, hoping to incapacitate him and save Bloodless.
Cast Ear piercing Scream. DC 14 Fort save to avoid being dazed, and to take half damage.
Damage 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7

Bejis Krupt |

I understood the point was to get the glaive. Bloodless's last in-character line was, "I'm also up for taking it off him."
I assume from Tark's comment that the Devil is not dazed
Bejis will drop (free action, no AoO) the glaive outside the prison (adjacent square), then lay into the devil with extra vigor.
Start raging
Greatsword PA: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 9 + 1 = 27 (+1 Bless) for 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (3, 1) + 13 = 17

Aerieth Deventis |

Not having many options to guaranty damage, Aerieth grasps her arcane bonded object (not sure what it is as it is no longer a headband). She then points her finger at the devil while speaking arcane words.
Cast Magic Missile with arcane bond.
Damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1) + 2 = 5
Another crappy damage roll

Teo Brissett |

Teo uses her Healing hex power to bring a bit of vigor back to Bloodless.
Healing hex 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Bloodless |

The point was to get the Glaive, sure, but so was defeating the creature to get it, not wasting rounds leaving a fully effective Devil wailing on us. Next time Bejis goes first into danger.

Bingomite Ralorphus Tealeaf |

Oh dear oh dear, your clothes are completely ruined! the gnome squeaks, grabbing out the wand and proceeding to heal Bejis and Bloodless.
__________________________________
Just deduct the charges from the wand. We have 15 left.

Bloodless |

CLW Wand Hits.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Bloodless still looks pretty damaged.
"Well we got the thing, now what?"

Teo Brissett |

"Now we have the glaive. Lets keep on our way, once Bloodless is healed."
Teo detects magic on the weapon and uses her CLW wand on the warrior.
Bloodless, roll until you are fully healed and let me know how many charges to mark off.
Spellcraft to identify magic weapon 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Teo Brissett |

lol, I'll mark them all off. bloodless almost ended up a very apt name, as all your blood was on the floor! Bingo, I marked all 10 charges off my wand. Save them on yours.
