Not sure if it makes a difference, but per the strange footnote on the acrobatics skill, her DC should have increased by +2 since she had to avoid two combatants. With Bejis raging, the 22 would not have beaten his CMB 21+2.

Unsure how best to help Teo, healing having never been Aeirith's thing, the elvish thief shuffles through Teo's pouch before pulling out the healing wand. Not expecting any success, but recalling how Teo used it. Aerieth taps it on Teo's wound fully expecting no result. Much to say, Aerieth is pleasantly surprised when the wand emits a soft blue glow and the wound begins to not itself back together again.

Move to get the wand.

"What happened? Why is my head aching? I thought we were done and were leaving?" After she is apprised of the situation, she mutters a few little person curses, and gears back up to make her way out, after spending one more charge from the new wand.

Bejis's experiment with the rock proves interesting as he sees the rock fall from the "ceiling" nearly twenty times before forward momentum eventually makes it land on the opposite stair case.

Once Teo is revived you rush to the mirror room not entirely sure the assassin is gone. Stepping through it you find yourselves standing a block away from the manor proper in an alleyway where the only witnesses are a terribly surprised cat. To your relief you see the first rays of dawn poking out over the tops of the buildings..and like that your strange journey through Chelaxian theater and wiscrani nobility has ended. Your misson complete.

Teo is fine with Beljis's plan. Where I came on in the middle of the adventure, I don't really recall the finer points of the original plot. Who sent us, etc. we should report in with what we discovered, and sell the gear. After that, we can see how much gold he have to split before shopping.

I think the Haversack is too useful to sell. We should get more Intel on the Pathfinder Lodge before we sell of the conditionally useful stuff, (i.e. Scarab, Ring, Crown), in case it appears relevant.

While we do need cash, do we really want to turn the evil intelligent sword 'loose' in the world?

I think the problem is we can't afford to hold anything we don't know we need. With the 3k gained I will have a total wealth of around 5k, or slightly less than half WBL. At least with the sale of everything we don't need we can score a magic weapon, and maybe something better than a chain shirt :P In a city of devils an evil weapon is neither here nor there. That said, scarabs and haversacks are always good value. Ring and crown I'm not that keen on. It was just too bad they are all longswords and we got no armour, now we have to sell at a loss to buy something we can use

I can scribe everything into my spellbook. Then, I can craft scrolls for Teo to feed to her familiar. The only thing is that I cannot scribe 3rd level spells yet.

It would be local.

Really though the group only knows general rumor. The place has been shut down, locked, and lethally trapped for decades. No one has heard or seen anyone go in or out. Rumor abounds about the contents and the nature of the traps but given the nature of the pathfinders and their tormentors during this time anything is possible.

You return to the hideout to much applause, tears, and hugs. Apparently one or two of the smaller members of the Haloran league were hiding in the rafters of the theater witnessed the terror unfold. You are showered with praise, worry, and congratulations.

After about half an hour where you are coddled and cared for like newborn babes by the worried women of the league you are eventually led to the upstairs study where Arael, Janiven and the pathfinder Ailyn Ghontasavos await you.

Once things have calmed down a bit Ailyn simply gets straight to the point. "Were you able to retrieve the Crux?"

"I think I can get the sequence correct with time to study it here. Two weeks perhaps. Unless you're feeling up to the challenge to attempt to open it now?"

Is there a reward if we open it? I can give it a try, but do not have a great urge to risk my life if it does not need to be opened faster than you can safely do it.

Also, do you want me to make rolls to copy the spells into my spellbook? My spellcraft is +10 so a take-10 is 20.

Someone correct me if I am wrong:

There are 4 1st level spells, 10 2nd and 10 3rd that I can copy to my spellbook. The cost is 10gp/40gp/90gp. Thus, the total should be 1340gp to scribe them all.

Once I have them scribed, I do not know whether Teo can simply have her familiar consume the pages from the old book, or if I need to scribe scrolls.

@ Teo - let me know which spells you want scribed to scrolls so that you can add them to your familiar.

Stinking Cloud and Dispel Magic I do not think that I can scribe as I am only level 3 (but I am CL5 with the Magical Knack trait). If I can do it with a -5 on the DC for not fulfilling one of the requirements, then I will do that.
