Age: 22 years
Bejis was trained as a gladiator. He was born to a family of slaves, but selected for gladiator training at an early age once his aggressive temper became evident. It was at this time that he was separated from his family, whom he has last contact with. Additionally, be became a follower of Gorum during his training, striving to become a better combatant. He escaped his former life after his owner went bankrupt to gambling debts, and won his freedom from the owner's creditors in a lucky duel, earning him a new position as a bodyguard. His travels with his new master took him to Westcrown. After a few years there in his new master's service, the new master suddenly took ill and passed away within a week, leaving Bejis unemployed once again. He has spent the past few months looking for work, whether as a bodyguard or other odd jobs. He despises fighting in the arena, but is desperate enough now to take part in fights for money. He does not accept the current social standards, especially slavery, but he doesn't know how he could make any changes. He is normally reserved in his manner, but finds it hard to control himself once the blood-lust of a fight takes over him.
