I think it has to be the second option bloodless presented. Someone has to sneak out and buy some stuff, I think.

Aerieth Deventis |

I have 5 doses of holy water Which I can give to Bejis and Bloodless. Teo and Bingo can memorize/cast CMW and Teo has CLW from her Healing hex. This might be enough to take down the Shadows, but it not, we might be in trouble.
The other option, as mentioned, is for two of us to sneak out and get something to make Bejis and Bloodless' weapons magicked up.
I am good with either plan.

Teo Brissett |

"Okay, are we going to pilfer a bit more around the house, or is someone going to try and sneak out?"

Aerieth Deventis |

Don't forget, I have 5 vials of holy water. Not an endless supply, but some.
Still shaky from her near death experience, Aerieth nods in agreement.
Yes, lets see if there is anything to be found, even the simplest of magical weapons should affect those shadows.

Teo Brissett |

"You all know the house better than Bingo and myself. Where have you checked and what is left to examine?"

Teo Brissett |

"How about we finish off the upstairs bedrooms first? If that doesn't yield fruit, we can try to navigate rough what's going on downstairs..."

Bloodless |

"Then lets make this a bit f a fast moving effort, sweep the upstairs rooms for anything obvious, stopping to sniff for magic at each door, and if nothing is easily seen nor detected, we simply move on. Should we find nothing, we will find a spot to lay low whilst a couple of us leave to resupply, and the others can make ready to let us back in when we return"

Bejis Krupt |

Rigth so give me a plan of action here so we can do this fast.
My plan: If it looks like an open (non-restricted) room, one of the 'Cast' looks in and check that it's clear. Then someone with detect magic looks in long enough to see if anything glowing and weapon like is there. 2 teams might be possible.

Teo Brissett |

I hadn't considered that, but two teams would probably be a good idea. I think so long as either I, Aerith, or Bingo are with either Bejis or Bloodless, both groups should have the ability to Detect Magic. A quick scan of all the bedrooms as Bejis described would be good for me.

Aerieth Deventis |

Bloodless, our best actor, should go with Teo and Bingo who were not part of the troupe. Bejis and I are not the most charismatic, but are both part of the performance and should not raise as much suspicion.
Also, that way there is a caster with both groups.

Do we know what rooms have not been looked over? I feel a bit in the dark right now.
Hrm, yes that's an excellent idea Bloodless. Bingo pauses, fiddling with his spectacles. Or perhaps there was an Armory or Ancestral thing-a-majig we could purloin.

Bejis Krupt |

I assume Aerith has detect magic running constantly, and would stop us if someone showed up.

Let's just push thigns along. I'd like to try and end this book before august.
The two rooms to the east are locked.
Let me know where you want to go from here. I'm doing this in increments
Aerieth finds it extremely difficult to scan for magic. This is mainly in part due to the entire mansion emitting its own strong to overwhelming auras. The infernal shadows that dance at the corners of her eyes when she recovers from the stunning effect does little to encourage her to keep doing it or to keep her sanity.
Moving northward through the orgiastic chaos of the dining hall you find yourself in a beautiful rose garden full of crimson red roses and rare flowers. In the center is a four inch deep pool of fresh smelling golden honey at least 20 foot long.
Let me know where you want to go from here. I'm doing this in increments.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 <-- hopefully I will get an aid another from someone.
Not sure where Bejis is. I do not think that he has posted in several weeks, in this campaign or the one he is DMing.

And me! OOC wise this is a tough situation and we are all hurting bad. It seems amazing that at level four there was only 1 magic weapon found and it was sold =/ Eh.. well thats what happens when you live in a police state I guess.

yeah this AP has not been very forthcoming with cash, I dunno about the rest but Bloodless is only on 2kgp (half of that still in coins saving for a weapon), which is around 1/3 of WBL - hence my earlier hard feelings about some of the encounters and wondering where the money went. Anyway yes it has pretty heavily impacted the availability of options, hence not rolling with the usual oils, alchemicals, and consumables I would normally take.
My personal feeling is that Tark wants to crack this book out and get-r-done, which frankly I don't see happening in the time frame suggested at this rate - w are in a lengthy room by room search of what looks like the Playboy Mansion, and going room by room, at a rate of a room or two every couple of days is going to take weeks in RL terms.
I appreciate that playing through and immersion should always be maintained, but this is one of those times where I really feel the best suggestion is that we just knock the search on the head, Tark lets two of us run into town and cash in Bloodless nest egg (weep) on Oils, holywater, and whatever other MacGuffin we think we need, and then let us pick up and resume ready to fight the shadows - call it a hotfix, call it a soft boot, but we have a time deadline, are apparently now missing a player, have been in an inactivity black hole for a while and it would be good to resume in a meaningful way, not just shuffling about the Heff pad
I'd be happy to make a bullet point jumpstart list if this is notionally agreeable

Thats kinda what I was aiming for with my post bloodless. I made Bingo to be a team player, but this is a pretty rough situation for the group. Putting us up against shadows when we didn't have a way to kill them just makes it frustrating.

IT's really up to you guys if that's how you want to do it. Everyone in agreeance?

Bingomite Ralorphus Tealeaf |

Tark, i'm not sure if you're willing to reveal this, but is the potential there for finding items to help us within the mansion? I fear we might search the whole place, find zilch and then be S.O.L. as people start to wake up from their drug induced revelry.

TarkXT |

Bejis: My fault I did not pull the fog of war back enough. There are exits to the west of the ball room but not the garde. There's also one to the south. Im going to say yes on perception checks made to search but not on more passive ones to spot hidden things.
Bingomite: There are thigns that can help you around here. Issue being is they tend to be fairly well hiddne in certain rooms. AS far as the shadows go the situation wiht them is much worse than you think. BEing able to effectively kill them will be a big help but tbh, this fight is a huge choke point for many groups so the thing to do might be jsut to clear a path and run past them if you can. As to the revelry they did mention that the MAyor's partes tend to last days which is developer speak for "take your time".
