The village was small enough to escape the attention of the Grey Gardners for years. Two years ago, that changed. Two members of the gardners showed up and began asking questions about a former town resident. He had left a few years earlier, and the town remembered as being a good person. Quickly the questioners turned aggressive. After two townspeople were hung, the town rebelled and drove the gardners away. Several days later a large contingent of soldiers and gardners arrived and began to burn the buildings.
The townspeople began to defend themselves, but Flynn's parents knew it was a lost cause and sent him to get the help of the druids if he could. Flynn ran through the woods, but was spotted and followed. The older man caught him quickly, and was about to kill him when a small form darted from the forest. It was a young panther, one he had noticed following him for several weeks, but since he had not felt threatened, in fact, he felt a kinship, he never mentioned it to his parents. With the help of the panther, he defeated the gardner, and found the druids. They went back to Aerdale, but were too late. The entire town had been burnt to the ground, and the bodies had been piled in the middle.
The druids assisted in laying the bodies to rest and invited him to join them for a time sensing the bond he shared with the small black leopard, they knew what he was to become. He began training with them. After a year, they sent him to train with some local rangers. His bond with with the panther, which he named Shadow, has strengthened. They have now set out for Andor to see where their new life takes them.

This is a really well put together character. The backstory leads perfectly into the stat block, like Noble Scion or War and the Order of the Cockatrice, and then into the progression. The traits fill in well and it all comes out to a consistent theme and a personality you already have a sense for. You’re going to have to be careful about the use of teamwork feats. I’m thinking that every time you apply one it’s going to have to be a direct order to the others. It looks like your character is set so now it’s just a matter of waiting.

Okay, threw something together. Crunch is done (sorta, I can't link to specific abilities from the Warpriest or Sacred Fist yet, nor Pummeling Style) but I figured it could be included later if the background looks good. :)
Khron Stonearm, Dwarven Sacred Fist of Torag
As soon as he was able, he pledged himself to a martial temple of Torag, hoping to hone his body and spirit into a weapon. Proud, strong and tough, Khron was gladly welcomed into the order of soldier-priests. However, it has been nearly twenty years, now. Frustration has begun to build in the warpriest's belly. There are no enemies to fight, no incursions to stop, no victory to be had. Day in and day out, just drills and sparring with the members of his order. It vexes Khron that he cannot prove himself, not for lack of ability, but for lack of true foes to combat.
So it was with great joy that the Toragian accepted a mission to travel to Tadloton. Feeling cooped up in Dagh Boramm, such a blessing left Khron practically jumping for joy. Ostensibly, he was to visit them as a messenger of good faith, but Khron knew better. His frustration was palpable to all the other initiates, and they were happy to let him go off to join some mercenary guild if it would keep him out of their beards.
Khron travels to Tadloton, ready for anything, but without any real experience to show for his years of military service. Whether he is prepared or not for a real fight is yet to be seen...
Khron's pride has gotten in the way many a time, but others are generally willing to apologize to calm the warpriest, rather than suffer his scorn.

PS This is an Alias for Wondering Monster:
Will but the crunch up a little later but here is the story of Walter Runsalot the Arcanist.
Walter Runsalot
Walter is an above average intelligent guy from the community. With that said, the girls don’t pay any attention to him. He is also broke and without a job. But he does know a few spells.
Walter gets the idea that he may be able to make some money working with the Mercenaries. The thing to know is that Walter is a complete coward. He figures he knows enough to be an adviser and not have to see any combat.
Ok So I just couldn't quit make the arcanist work in my brain. So My first level is Sage Sorcerer instead. I intend to take a dip in Investigator and make a sort of arcane trickster without sneak attack. Arcane skills guy that can handle traps. Also he is incredibly afraid of traps so we will see where this goes.

This is correct. No one will be selected until Monday night, I'm just reviewing and checking off submissions as complete enough. As part of the review if I think the character is really not going to make it I'll note that and let you change as appropriate.

Fluff:
Jack story begins 25 years prior, when he was exiled with his mother Tairi. He remembers nothing of the days prior to the exile, and little of the wandering after. His earliest memories are setting down in a small village named Eldon’s Troubles. Really little more than a meeting point for local farmers to trade goods, it had little other traffic coming through. Tairi had chosen it for it’s absence of an elven population.
Life in the village was difficult for Jack. Mostly human, he often found himself becoming friends with the younger kids. Eventually a family of elves did move into a nearby farm, encouraging Jack to make friends with their children. Sadly, when their parents learned who jack's mother was, they quickly forbade them to play with him. This changed from friends to ignoring Jack, and gradually changing to Jack becoming bullied by them. Tairi did little to discourage this, becoming mostly a loner at this time.
Tairi was a known witch and is was rumored that she had sold her body to a devil for power. The burden of proof was the man
About two years after this, a family of dwarves bought out the town’s Inn, planning on fixing it up and expanding it out. The eldest son, Talg, saw the torment some of the other children were dealing Jak while she was shopping and stood up for her. The two quickly became friends after that.
A bit of a troublemaker, Talg often would get into some form of mischief or another, earning him a sour reputation only further enhanced by his friendship with the now ostracized Jak. Talg, being a skilled liar and quite cunning, particularly enjoyed playing pranks, which Jak inevitably found Himslef helping him with. In fact, when either was found separately, villagers would stay on guard wondering what ill was about to befall them.
Eventually Talg’s pranks would catch up to him. For two decades Talg and Jack were the best of friends in the village. The other children, the often receiving end of Talg’s plans, knew they wouldn’t be able to trick the conniving dwarf. Instead they focused on Jack. Having purchased a series of fireworks from a caravan passing through town, they planned to ignite them near Jack’s home. But when they set off the explosives, instead they veered off path, lighting the small house aflame.
Villagers came to see what had happened, and to help extinguish the house. But luck was not with them. The flames had spread quickly to the doors and windows. It didn't seem they would be able to get Jack and Tairi out. But Talg wasn't willing to give up. Quite nimble, he managed to climb a nearby tree and leap over to the roof. Sending a rope down the chimney, he had Jack and Tairi climb up through to escape the blaze even as the fire attempted to engulf the house. The two of them almost safely off, he had them leap to the villagers to escape but the roof caved in. Talg an Tairi fell into the blaze.
Jack ran to the house, ready to charge in despite the fire, held back by others to prevent him from rushing to his death. He fell to his knees, watching the house be consumed.
some month passed and eventually a traveling circus came through town. After some fierce negotiation by Talg’s father, eventually the circus set up for a few days instead of traveling on through.
He decided to join and travel with them. There is learn to practise the bulging magic he knew as well as to defend himself with a simple weapon.
He played mostly during the comedy show as a Samourai going on adventure where funny and trouble would find him. (Comic relief) He eventually earned the his stage name of Samurai-Jack
A few years have passed but the circus revenu started to dwindle, until it eventual broke apart. Each an everyone going their separate ways
Having ruffle one to many people. He decided it was time to leave once gain and therefore made his way into Tadloton.

First, as a note, where does distracting charge come from? I can’t find it on the srd.
I find it interesting that there are two cavaliers submissions that are almost completely opposite in personality. Where Agon is completely self-centered, you are selfless and team/group-oriented. As I noted when you proposed it, your character idea fits well in the story. New adventurer’s must band together because without the others no one survives. But the challenge for that will be your patience with the others. Are you going to keep protecting the young elf that wants to watch the bad guy continue his work because it fascinates him, or are you going to turn from them? Loyalty can prevail, but patience and some self-control are going to need to come first.
You can flesh out your character as you feel like, but outside of the question I opened with your character submission is complete. I would not worry about there being another cavalier submission, and if Agon is peaking at the spoilers I would say the same to him, mainly, but not exclusively, as your characters together would just introduce a host of interesting RP situations.

scratch the ninja... I couldn't get into the story, even though It was an awesome Idea :/ so, on an inspiration from my imagination and a cup of tea, I made this guy. (still working on him a bit)
premise is-
He has seen -some- combat, though much of his confidence has left him and he has left to start "new" while having a taste in combat experience he is still very wet behind the ears.
oh yes, he is a blade-bound magus. taking the alt favored class of 1/4 arcane pool bonus per level (yay to extra arance pool at level 4! hah)

Well we talked about this in much more depth in our PMs but now to introduce the idea to everyone.
Ezra Thorne:
Lawful Neutral Tiefling (who appears to be human for now. Not even he knows his heritage... for now) Lunar Oracle of Asmodeus.
A local organization noticed Ezra and recruited him as a low ranking member; all Ezra had to do was settle local disputes within the organization and outside of it, sometimes traveling around as a diplomat, trying to gain support of traders or mercenary guilds. Even of he was never really trusted with more power in the organization, Ezra was happy where he was and with what he had. As far as he was aware, nothing he.did could possibly have been illegal, or upset anyone. He was a diplomat for Asmodeus' sake!
So that's why when his home was broken into, and he was subsequently beaten and severely burned by a masked group of men and women, he was onfused and terrified. He owned two slaves, but always treated them well and with respect, so it couldn't have been the Andorans, but of not then, whom?
With burns now covering his arms and hands, and a broken leg that the Priests could not seem to fix, Ezra found himself recovering and trying to get back to his feet, but month after month passed and yet the pain stayed nd even seemed to grow when the moon became full. He stayed in this miserable state for a bit less than a year before the organization he worked for offered him another job. Not only did they promise to go after the people who made him suffer if he succeeded, but they would pull strings to gain the attention of the best healers in the land so that his wounds could be treated.
Putting on his best set of clothes, and leaving his slaves home, Ezra jumped on the next ship to Andoran so that he could find the town of Tadloton and complete gisbtask quickly. All he had to do was gain the cooperation if his new mercenary guild and try to establish a legitimate trade relationship with this town by speaking with and convincing the mayor. It was simple enough.
When Ezra stepped off the boat, he grimaced, taking a small herb from his a small pouch and popping it in his mouth. It was supposed to help the pain, but barely worked. But before going any further, Ezra made sure he had his badge. He looked at it and smiled. The metal was bronze and displayed a golden snake on a shield. He will succeed, and the Consortium all him... wouldn't they?
You have the crunch and more fluff in the PMs

Good evening everyone, tonight's list is the same so I won't post it again. Tomorrow I'll be back to a more normal schedule and should have reviews galore. Recruitment is still open submit, tweak or wait away.
I will note, as I have seen a couple builds advancing past it:
Starting gold is what you would normally roll for your class. For example, fighters get 5d6 x 10 starting gold. It can be modified by rich parents or ancient weapon or other such traits. Do not worry about the cost of a trip to Tadloton, no matter how far your background would bring you, that will be taken care of in game. No need to roll for starting gold on the forum, just roll it however is easiest... or luckiest.

I think I just went with PFS standard since that's what Hero Lab seems to default to. But I spent a little under the average for Barbarians (104/105 gold), so I think I'm ok.
The only change I've made is swapping Wis (10->9) and Cha (9->10) because I think it makes more sense if I want K'leck to be likable but kind of naive. I can post an updated character if desired, but it only changes my Will save (to a very sad -1) and the appropriate skills and even then, only slightly.

Two more reviews, with more coming later tonight.
I've read the Stormlight archive and am a very big fan of Sanderson characters in general so I definitely like the idea of one based off of Rock. I would say that you have to be careful in copying him too much. Yes, you can base the personality off of him but I know at least one area, combat, where it will have to vary and I know more will come up. The nice but insulting outsider who really cares for everyone is a base enough character that it can be varied, but make sure it's K'leck playing and not Rock playing. I mentioned I could help with some of the Shaonti, but I'm on lunch break and don't have access to hose files at the moment. Suffice it to say, if you are selected we can add touches that address it.
I love the mechanics for this character in combat. I'm very much a mechanics based character kind of player, and this is a pretty unique one. I'm pretty loose applying mechanics as a GM, so we'll make stuff like throwing people, or maybe just hobbits and gnomes, an option. I think the Cha 10 and Wis 9 is the right way to do it. I like the build in general, and it can definitely work in a starting off with barely any equipment or experience kind of world. You can certainly tweak, update, edit your character as you see fit, but I am considering your submission ready for selection.
I've always found the druid animal companion a bit of a side show more than anything but from the way you set up this build, and from what the Hunter class can be, I think it can actually take center stage. Combat wise, I like that you're going to have a lot of options. You'll have tricks, spells, attacks, and of course whatever the animal companion does. I can't access the prd right now but I'll check through the build itself later to see if there are any issues.
I like the background because I think you can pull some personality out of it without you having explicitly stated it. Of course, I know from numerous English classes that this is often made up, but we'll try it out anyway. I see this character as someone is is extremely attached to his animal, not surprising, but also bitter/detached/threatened/in-congruent with other humanoids. The druids took you in, and the rangers helped train you, but outside of that, you've got mostly hurt from humanoids. You didn't even mention the panther to your parents, something that shows from the start you were a panther friend first and people friend second. In saying all that, let's see how Flynn does in a company of mercs that are thrown together into the fire before they likely remember each other's names. So far I've reviewed the selfish cavalier, the selfless cavalier, the foreigner with feigned but no real dislike of others, and now the likely pre-disposed against but not necessarily wanting to be so. Not to say that is the party I'm going to choose, but that would be dramatic.

In regards to combat: I picture K'leck as thinking of it all as a game. He doesn't really expect to get hurt, and he doesn't expect there to be consequences for his actions. He'll gladly wade his way into a fight, even amongst strangers, but he holds no malice against his opponents and is just as likely to invite them all out drinking once its over. The only fights he has thus far been in have been wrestling matches with friends and the occasional bar fight, so that's about what he expects all fights to be like.
Also, I've decided to switch my mental abilities again:
Int 10
Wis 9
Cha 13
The Int 13 just really wasn't speaking to me, and I think it's less likely that I'll wind up taking Combat Expertise since it looks like I don't need it for the grappling-like feats. I will post the most up-to-date version of the character sheet shortly before recruitment closes in case I wind up trying to make any other changes.

I have two hesitations off the bat, the 6 CHA and the 14 (and very low in the future) AC for a melee fighter. Of course, Paizo designed the Sacred fist to work like that so I’ll have to trust their judgment about the build. You also have a strong con score to fortify it. The 6 CHA also doesn’t seem to be an issue, as you’ve played some low CHA characters in the past. It sounds like from your personality description, your low CHA is going to come off as inordinate amounts of pride. You’ll have to hold that line for quite a while before you start making any actual friends in the guild. The good news is, everyone is thrown into this, so the timeframe might be long for everyone.
The background and personality fit well, and I’m very interested to see what happens the first time you get into battle, and how you react to it after the fact. Your submission looks good to go and if you have no more tweaks or updates you can wait for selection.

** spoiler omitted **
As far as the Charisma goes, I'm actually pretty good at roleplaying dwarven levels of charisma - ie: gruff and stubborn. (Khron actually had 5 Cha when he was made with 20pb, I'm glad I got the chance to bump it up even a little!) But I know when to draw the line, so you don't need to worry! :D I'm SUPER looking forward to playing this character, so if you pick me, you won't be disappointed.
Really, the only changes I would make at this point would be to link the Sacred Fist archetype in the profile once it goes up on pfsrd.

Per Ezra's request, I have opened up the discussion thread to act as the Morning Ale, Tadloton's most nondescript tavern. You may post into there, interact with each other, and hopefully shine your posting skills. You do not need to post in Alias, just note your character name if you do not.
Not posting will not hurt your chances of selection, it's an optional exercise. Enjoy away.
