Khron has spent most of his life in Dagh Boramm, a well-defended mountainhome in the Five Kings Mountains. Surrounded by other mountainhomes, Dagh Boramm has never been breached by foes. Despite this, a strict warrior caste has been maintained in the event of a catastrophe. Maintaining good ties with the Dwarven settlements around it, Borammian soldiers have found great glory in combat. Since he was but a wee lad, Khron has aspired to this same glory.
As soon as he was able, he pledged himself to a martial temple of Torag, hoping to hone his body and spirit into a weapon. Proud, strong and tough, Khron was gladly welcomed into the order of soldier-priests. However, it has been nearly twenty years, now. Frustration has begun to build in the warpriest's belly. There are no enemies to fight, no incursions to stop, no victory to be had. Day in and day out, just drills and sparring with the members of his order. It vexes Khron that he cannot prove himself, not for lack of ability, but for lack of true foes to combat.
So it was with great joy that the Toragian accepted a mission to travel to Tadloton. Feeling cooped up in Dagh Boramm, such a blessing left Khron practically jumping for joy. Ostensibly, he was to visit them as a messenger of good faith, but Khron knew better. His frustration was palpable to all the other initiates, and they were happy to let him go off to join some mercenary guild if it would keep him out of their beards.
Khron travels to Tadloton, ready for anything, but without any real experience to show for his years of military service. Whether he is prepared or not for a real fight is yet to be seen...
Physical Description:
Khron is absolutely huge for a dwarf, standing a full head above most of his peers. Years of training have left him with a strong, chiseled physique and the fortitude you would expect from a trained warrior. He still appears quite squat, however, as he is also wider than most of his fellow initiates. They even joke that he has Giant blood flowing in his veins, though he does not appreciate it. He has amber-colored eyes, lightly tanned skin, and dark black hair. His beard, his pride and joy, is braided simply, and reaches down to his belt.
Khron is easily excitable, stubborn to a fault, and very prideful. While he is not overbearing, he has a tendency to brag that can get on others' nerves. He is friendly and will work with others without much complaint, but he hates being talked down to.
Khron's pride has gotten in the way many a time, but others are generally willing to apologize to calm the warpriest, rather than suffer his scorn.
