O I understand it's a flat 30K at book price, I'm also aware that a +9 equivalent weapon is like 168K in value. So basically your weapon, and I know it's not just you, i'm just realizing how far past the party is on their wealth. Which of course is completely my fault and has taught me to consider character feats when it comes to loot.
Now for the fast forwarding, i'm going to do that here shortly, but I need you to be aware that it is after your lunch with Kellen.

Weeks go by, busy with crafting and spending time with Helena. Though she continues about her daily duties with the temple and invites Assiel as well; perhaps more of a way just to show him how her faith works and what it means to her people. She found him a master craftsman able to do the work he sought for 33k gold. And before he can realize it almost two months time had passed, a time frame the companions had thought to meet up again. They knew the threat was still there, Kergoth the renegade Celenree still roamed freely bent on becoming a god and then there was the mage, Gargatha, and what his play in all this was unknown.
He often walked the city during the day, a break from crafting, it was relaxing in this city. Partly because of the absolute feel of security here. When the voice brought him from his reverie is when he realized how comfortable he had gotten, how much his guard had dropped, “Assiel?” He was a local, dressed in brown robes and carrying a wooden staff with small vines wrapped around the weapon. The vines actually seemed to move. “I have come to extend an invitation to you. The grove beckons, will you attend?” As he asked his gaze moved to the north, the thick forest that was far in the distance could barely be seen.

Anyways, the weapon was a +6 equivalent weapon before. So split the difference and it ends up taking 45 days to craft. Yes, that is with the DC increase to expedite the crafting time. Crafting DC's are a joke after a certain point.
I'm actually just throwing money at stuff now. I don't need anything, so I'm just trying to pick fun stuff. I'm a healer, not much demand as far as items go. Kellen and I don't require much...just shiny toys.

The stranger nods at Assiel in agreement, “It is not a common thing for outsiders to be called.” He begins walking north, stops after a few short paces, “I am Egver. Now please the Elder waits.” He continues his pace which Assiel has little issue catching up to Egver. The walk is peaceful, serene in a way, and Assiel begins to get the strange feeling that the sense of comfort is in fact coming from his new companion.
The walk is long, but not tiring, not tiring like it should be. They reach the tree line as the sun sets, the clear night skies alight with stars give this forest new light. The place seems undisturbed in anyway; the smells overwhelming and yet still pleasing to bear. Egver continues through the woods not looking to make sure Assiel is following. A point that Assiel notes all too well that this one really could care less if he indeed came to the grove to meet this Elder.
The walk is easy and soon Assiel realizes he is lost in the woods. Looking up he notices his guide is no more. Whispering a short prayer he stumbles into a clearing. A perfect circle; it couldn’t be natural and yet for some reason it looked natural. “Your prayers will not be needed here,” An older Celenree stepped from between trees opposite the angelic mortal. His hair an odd white and his eyes matching and solid; he wore simple brown robes and carried only a staff. His voice was melodic and even calming to Assiel. If ever a thought of danger had entered his mind it was gone when this older man spoke. “We seem to have a friend in common.”

DM Azoun |

The older man moves closer to Assiel looking at the ground, "Yes, yes, that would be nice." And as he turns his gaze back to Assiel some of the earth near them seems to form itself into that of simple stools. The Elder sits on one and beckons Assiel to sit on the other. "Our way has been around for a long time. Though even beyond my years." He lightly chuckles at his own remark before continuing, "We are not like you. Our way is to keep this," he motions to the forest around them, "at peace. To save it from the ravages of war and mistreatment of the races. But it seems." His head drop and he sighs.
"I had for seen all this and that is why I had you all first gathered and set upon this path." A new figure suddenly is in the grove, this one familiar, as if Assiel knew him. Yet he couldn't place a name to him. He had a earthy smell, his robes even seemed to be dusted with dirt. "Though not all from the first gathering have made it. But that is the cycle is it not?"

DM Azoun |

Just to clarify there are now TWO people in this clearing with you.
"The cycle of the world." The earthy stranger answers, "Everything is connected. There is a balance to it all and when beings alter the natural state of things the balance is upset and must be tended too."

Assiel |

Assiel stands up to address the two men before him, "All of this is a bit tenuous, perhaps you might introduce yourselves so that I might know with whom I speak."

DM Azoun |

The older celenree, still sitting, looks at you with his solid white eyes, "I am Neriun, Elder here of this grove and home. I speak for that which does not have a voice here and see to its needs."
"The people here have come to call me Pirak," the earthen stranger states simply, "well those of this order simply call me the old one. Either are fine for in truth I do not know. What I do know is that the balance has been turned. I had hoped when I set this group initially on its path things would have been diverted, altered. But even the future cannot be seen; there are too many choices that we do not know yet nor understand. As for the path that is ahead...there is a path I would ask you to take. But I cannot force it."
Pirak is the Celenree deity of nature.

Assiel |

Looking up to the heavens, "It was once my station to be a guardian, but even now in this mortal form, I will not fail."

DM Azoun |

He moves and places a heavy hand on Assiels' shoulder, "I do not like to be revered as such and have asked for none of this. I just know I must keep the balance. Go to Kelsinko, there your dwarven friend may have some new associates to help things along. If he was unsuccessful in his task there will be one there looking for you."

DM Azoun |

Yep yep, I'm going to do some more work on the minotaurs to explain the differences a little better. It's not covered because there has been a lack of interest in playing one. But anywho, the four tribes have the different abilities that we discussed via email and have physical differences as well. But i'll be working on that tomorrow.
