Warpac |
Warpac, thanks to the haste, runs over tio the downed summoner and casts CSW on the prone figure (spontaneously casting from the protection from energy spell).
CSW: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (1, 4, 4) + 7 = 16
Barm |
Guys I'm not sure if it is my turn or not because Helikon does not put the initiative block.
Barm moves out of the cloud and attacks a beast.
to hit - haste: 1d20 + 15 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 15 + 1 = 26
damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (1, 1) + 12 = 14
jing kwan |
Sorry for the delay, I live in Oregon and just woke up. Jing kwan is now back to 0 HP. If I am not sure if I am awake or not.
I had posted the wrong ability. I was trying to use: Transposition (Su): At 8th level, a summoner can use his maker’s call ability to swap locations with his eidolon. If it is larger than him, he can appear in any square occupied by the eidolon. The eidolon must occupy the square that was occupied by the summoner if able, or as close as possible if it is not able.
Not sure what you want to do here, if anything. I understand that I passed out either way, just not sure current position and if I took that last 16 HP of damage/healing and Warpac's current position. If I remember correctly, that would have left me on the floor next to Mutaihr
Rogar Valertis Alastoris |
@Elikon: you wrote that the wizard had summoned a celestial tiger. Can you confirm this guy is not EVIL? Because afaik otherwise that tiger cannot be celestial, it should be fiendish, which means evil, which means that, being a summon is should NOT have been able to attack Jing because of Protection from Evil. Here's the text of Summon Monster I'll copy/paste the relevant text here.
Creatures on Table: Summon Monster marked with an “*” are summoned with the celestial template, if you are good, and the fiendish template, if you are evil. If you are neutral, you may choose which template to apply to the creature. Creatures marked with an “*” always have an alignment that matches yours, regardless of their usual alignment. Summoning these creatures makes the summoning spell’s type match your alignment.
Now: the tiger has a nifty "*" next to its name. Which means if our wizard here is evil it cannot be celestial and it needs to be fiendish, which also means evil which also means PfE applies and therefore it wasted its attacks not being able to damage Jing. If you are uncertain about this we may ask in the rules forum, but I think it's quite important to make sure everything works fine when a PC's potential death is involved
Mutahir Hashem |
With the incredible speed granted by haste, Mutahir dashes out of the cloud, trying not to lose his lunch, and appears behind the wizard. He coughs a few times, but holds his blade up to pen in the wizard.
That is a really important thing considering that it's the diffrence between a PC kill and not. :(

Rogar opens the door and goes into hiding.
Please put yourself on the map.
jing kwan |
I moved people a little without thinking. Please adjust yourselves where you want to. Jing Kwan and Tiny are where they want to be. Ready when everyone else is
Mutahir Hashem |
Will we be getting a new haste? I stayed within the 30 to receive it, so I hope so.
Mutahir holds out his sword.
COWARDS! GOD SLAVES TO A DEAD MASTER! COME OUT AND FACE ME!
Voice of Law, all followers of godess of runes Lissala are affected by my intimidate check.
Voice of Law: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33
Warpac |
Warpac's first actions are the same. They will be to cast beacon of luck using a fervor, activate the holy strike blessing with a standard action, and take a move action.Only this time he will move 40' due to haste.
Rogar Valertis Alastoris |
Rogar will give his wand of Protection from Evil to Vybus and ask him to cast it on everyone who wants it (Rogar had 38 charges on that wand now it's 33 because everyone got the spell cast but for Warpac).
As for opening the door: this time Rogar will open it unless Warpac offers to do so. Btw Rogar's initiative is +6. If possible I'd like for initiative order to be visible. Currently it's so:
Round 01 - Bold may act
Sinspawn 01 (choose a color)
Sinspawn 02 (choose a color)
Naroth
Barm
Muthair
Vybus
Warpac
Jing
Rogar
I assume the wizard and his cultist acted already? If so Rogar will enter the room following the others armed with his bow and ready an attack against the wizard if he tries to cast a spell
Warpac |
Haste as not been cast yet. My init. has not come up yet.
If you are not announcing the fact then I will pull Warpac back 20'. If you are then he will wait until after Jing to move. I'm going to assume that Warpac does not know its coming though, and pull him back 20' and adjust if this changes.
Vybus Abbin |
Before the door is opened, as requested Vybus will use Rogar's wand of Protection from Evil on himself, Nancy, Rogar, and anyone else who would like it. Possible immediate actions noted below.
If Vybus or Max need to make any kind of saving throw, I'll use a folio re-roll if I roll lower than a 10 (I have 5 GM stars to add to the re-roll). Once my folio re-roll is used, I'll use Beacon of Luck to re-roll any save where I roll lower than a 10.
Vybus Abbin |
Vybus takes out a scroll of Gust of Wind (move action) and hands it to Max (standard action).

Max, lyrakien familiar of Vybus |
Max flies forward and activates the scroll of Gust of Wind, aiming it directly at the fog.

jing kwan |
Jing Kwan moves forward and casts Haste centered on himself.
I can select everyone technically, but not sure who is withing range of the 30' apart condition, and I don't have much experience with the Maps program. If someone would be so kind as to throw up a circle and adjust for maximum inclusion, I will be most greatfull.
Also, delaying Tiny's turn until I know what the result of the Haste is.
Warpac |
Once my folio re-roll is used, I'll use Beacon of Luck to re-roll any save where I roll lower than a 10.
It does not work like that. You have to decide before the roll.

Oh gotcha, thanks. I'll adjust the write-up.

Rogar Valertis Alastoris |
Rogar action was to move inside after Haste was cast and ready an attack in case the wizard cast. So if the wizard tries to cast he'll immediately attack
@everyone: Please remember spellcraft checks can be rolled to try identyfing spells being cast.
Warpac |
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Warpac calls out "What are these things? They don't look entirely human. Are they devils or demons?"
Could someone do a knowledge dungeoneering roll to help out? Warpac has a Bane Baldric he can use if someone can tell him what he is facing.
Question for GM. Is he near enough to a wall or ceiling to stick him with a tanglefoot bag? Warpac is delaying until after the other PCs go,
hoping to know what he cast and what these things are.
Rogar Valertis Alastoris |
Knowledge (dungeoneering: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Careful! Those are...
Mutahir Hashem |
Sorry, forgot about that.
Muthair waits until the wind blasts away the fog, [delay until fog is blow away by gust of wind] then dashes in to strike.

Unfortunately some others have triggered themselves too. Having the highes iniative they can act first.
Now it is SHOWTIME!
Something appears. It will cause everyone of you to do a saving throw. Who will use bit of luck.
And yes it is not good what appears.
This will be the first action that happens.
@Rogar Answer depends on your reply with bit of luck.
@Warpac The wizard is not close enough to the ceiling. Maybe the wall, but a very low chance.
jing kwan |
Stupid question time: what is PoE and PoW mean?
spellcraft: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
Jing Kwan will share any knowledge gained.
Yes I am using bit of luck
My saving throws, if allowed to roll myself, please add bit of luck bonus
fortitude save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
reflex save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Jing Kwan's Tiny |
Tiny is using bit of luck if it applies to him. Please add to rolls.
Tiny's saving throws, if allowed to roll himself.
fortitude save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
reflex save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
will save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
NOTE: Tiny has Resist: 10: acid/cold/elec./fire/sonic; Evasion; and +4 to Will saves vs. Ench.
Rogar Valertis Alastoris |
No. Rogar won't be using a bit of luck now. Keep it for later. If I underdstand it correctly, "A Bit of Luck" is a flat +2 luck bonus on saving throws that can be "burned" before a roll, giving you a chance to reroll if things go badly. I'd rather keep the flat +2 bonus right now and possibly use the reroll later.
Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 2 = 30
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 = 13
Will Save: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 2 = 29
Please choose the appropriate roll
Mutahir Hashem |
Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
ref: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
ref: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Warpac |
Warpac will use his lucky presence and roll twice, but not his Beacon of Luck.
Before that happens, Warpac still has his action. I needed answers to my questions first before I could post. He activates Divine Favor with a fervor and steps up, draws his tanglefoot bag, and tosses it at the wizard.
To hit ranged touch, -6 for range: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Note: I needed to stay somewhat centered so that the beacon of luck still affected everyone.
