Rogar Valertis Alastoris
|
Can we get a summary about the amount of damage everyone suffered? For example, Rogar should have lost 37 hp and 7 points of str. He also inflicted damage on the deadknight, and I'd like to know how the pit situation was resolved, which means you should roll reflexes for the deadknight. Rogar tried to attack it, but would switch to the shadow if the deadknight were impossible to hit. Let us know please

Another couple of questions: the shadow. Where does it come from? Was it summoned? Why didn't we see it approach? And how did it touch Rogar? According to the map it's standing 15 ft. away from him, and afaik shadows don't have ranged touch attacks. Even if this shadow had ranged touch attacks there's still the matter of Muthair providing cover. Sorry for being such a pain but I just checked the map and some things make no sense to me

Pending the answers to Rogar's questions, and provided he is able to...
Warpac will activate Sacred Armor and Sacred Weapon (giving him ghost touch) as a swift action, Then step up to (try to) smack the shadow.

Graveknights have Damage Reduction 10 magic and Spell resistance. Their saves and the power of the spell resistance depend on the person changed. They also get a bonus to spells half the changed characters level. She seems to be some form of martial character.
The shadowy enemy is a greater shadow, an undead with the incorporal type, able to drain strength.

I may be able to turn this shadowy undead creature into a temporary ally, and use it against the foul cultists! Vybus shouts before casting Persistent Command Undead on the greater shadow.

The shadow was in another room and called, by the graveknight just before you entered the door. It moved to rogar and attacked.
Then Jing made a pit, the Graveknight did manage to dismount. Unfortunately so far from you that you had to move to attack it. You had to move, but I did not give the shadow an attack of opportunity as this was a special case.Warpac misses the shadow unfortunatelly

This round is not good for Rogar. He does get hit and while the lance does not confirm, the shadow does confirm and he looses another 7 strength.
Emeketta 69 damage
Shadow 16 damage
Rogar 78 damage and 14 strength
Barm 56 damage

Damn! a 19 and a 17 on the Shadow's saves. That's statistically improbable.
The shadowy creature resisted my efforts to control it! I shall try again momentarily.
I spend another arcane pool point to use my Quick Study exploit to replace my prepared Dimension Door with another Persistent Command Undead as a full round action. Turn done.

Did you adjust the map for the movements of the undead this round?
Also, anyone ending their turn next to the pit has to save to not fall in.

Rogar was fighting Emeketta. There were PCs behind him and near him. You say the Shadow moved near Rogar but you just had it appear near Rogar instead. No one noticed it enter the room? How exactly? We didn't even get a chance to perceive it? Get an AoO? And by the way, if the shadow moves to Rogar, it provokes from Barm, Warpac, Tiny and Muthair.
Rogar withdraws from the fight.

I'm confused too. The shadow is up near Warpac and Tiny according to the map. Rogar was south of them. Either you got Rogar confused with Tiny or Barm, or the shadow was not where it was shown on the map, or the shadow has a huge reach, or I'm missing something here.

You have no idea if the shadow saved well or is immune. It might even be immune to your spells due to the graveknights presence. I am checking this out.
But all is moot as Barm and Warpac destroy it.
With a very lucky hit from the dwarf the shadow is destroyed.
Tiny, Jing, Wybus and Mutahir are up.

Jing Kwan takes 30.
Warpac

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21, so Warpac takes 15.
So Emeketta stood up, cast a spell/used an ability, and took a second move action? Was one of those a swift action or something? And that black patch, is that the grease square? The room is becoming a veritable mine field. Nice, cause Warpac is good at bull rush if he can ever get into position.
Warpac
|
Is she in the right location on the map? Did she do a 5' step because she is not in the grease any longer?
Vybus Abbin

I put the black patch to show where I cast grease. Looks like Tiny and Mutahir would get AOOs from her standing up. And if she ended her turn next to the pit it's a reflex save or fall in.
jing kwan
|
Create Pit and Glitterdust both have a DC=20 for their saves(+2 if you end your turn next to the pit), and neither one is subject to SR. Just want to point that out.
Also, when asked: "So Emeketta stood up, cast a spell/used an ability, and took a second move action? Was one of those a swift action or something?" you said, "Made a mistake. She just stands up." Does that mean she did not cast the spell?
One last question: Right now, how far apart is Barm and Tiny, please.
jing kwan

Barn and Tiny look to be about 30' apart. Is that correct?
Oh, I changed the black blob(Grease) to a square so people can move there and still be seen. I hope you all don't mind.

The stinker moved left instead of right. No way to reach him now :) I assume all those pews are difficult terrain.

He lets the sacred weapon lapse
