You recognize a Ring of Protection +1 and a Cloak of Resistance +1 when you see it. There is also a potion of Lesser Restoration.
"Well," Hersh rumbles when it's all said and done. "I imagine you'll either need more work from us, or you'll be sending us to the bars and rope?"

Was he expecting a critical injury of some sort?
Sorval marks down the items before putting them in with party gear.
I say let them live- but if they ever go bandit again... She allows the last part hang for effect.

Sunny, |

Sunny nods in agreement with trying to 'reform' all the people they've come across. Though her eyes do stray to 'Pup'.
"Um...I be also thinkin' that some folks might need ta be seein' some healers fer some...ah...proper attention..." She adds.
But other wise is all ready, happy, skippy and bouncy to head off with every one. (^_^)

Sunny frowns a little as she looks up at Ruul,
"Um...would that include m'self?" She asks sounding a little puzzled, "Asides, there's nuffin' wrong with bringin' 'em ta' tha' attention of folks back in'a town. Jus'..we needs ta' help 'em out with tha' explanation of who it were doin' tha' nasty things an' who it were who were being tha' nasty thing done ta' them." Sunny's words slow again as she realizes her brain has outpaced her speaking and what she's just said may not have all come out the way she thought it should.
"Um...we should be helpin' 'em back in'a town..." She finishes again, blushing and looking nervously at every one.

Sunny blinks up at Ruul, then shakes her head,
"I dun't think so. I just remember meetin' Donaon in'a town an' gettin' on famously with him an' his friends an' then us all organizin' ta' head over to...um...." Sunny blinks and looks about the surrounding country side, "Um...that other town...." And she waves an arm randomly off into the woods.
"But, we's camped fer tha' night an'...an'...um... " She blinks,
"I dun't remember...." She looks a little worried...and nervous, absently rubbing her hair.
"I think I were bonked on'a noggin'." She continues to look around...now seeming completely lost. Before her eyes alight on the prone form of Donaon and she brightens instantly.
"Hee!" She exclaims and bounces over to the fellow. "He'll remember things!" She nods emphatically, then pauses looking at Hersh and the others.
"Here? They'd all be knowin' whut happened ta' m'self an' ta' others." She points out. Then tilts her head,
"Wait? Whut's m'self gots ta' do with helpin' these folks agin?" She asks puzzled suddenly by Ruul's question.

Largely baffled by the she-elf's fast talk, Ruul just snorts and shakes his head. "Let's just get them back to town. Someone there will be able to help get you home."

Zeltor |

"I agree with friend Ruul - these men need to be lead back to town and plead their cases, if they so wish" - Zeltor adds with a grave nod - "The town is entitled to be made aware of what has transpired here, and make their decisions on what penalty to apply, if any" - he ponders - "Perhaps a couple of months of forced labour in the fields would make up for some of the caused mayhem and loss"

Ruul snorts and nods. Without any more discussion, he gets the prisoners prepared for travel back toward the mining town.

Though it was hard to believe, the trip back was uneventful, if painstakingly slow. After all, a majority of their human cargo was very injured.
In fact, it was obvious that without more horses or other such help, the party might in fact have to camp out or go on a forced march to get to Maheto.

Sunny does her best to help keep people's spirits buoyed on their journey back to town.

Skipping up to whom ever is currently at the head of the column Sunny asks,
"Are we gon'a try findin' some place ta' spend tha' night? Or is we gon'a try fer tha' town...in'a dark...?" She asks.

Survival:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Using what she knows about the wilds, she offers/suggests what to look for in a good camping place. (^_^)

Ruul rumbles unhappily but accepts the situation for what it is.
The bull begins looking for a good place for the group to camp for the night.

"I think we have indeed no alternative" - Zeltor responds to Sunny and Manny - "The wounded will not be able to move faster then this withut some sort of transportation"
Settling down his backpack, he prepares to camp, and makes a quick survey of the area, to make sure it is safe.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Sunny, |

Sunny moves about the group as people settle in. Helping to distribute what ever food there is. Seeing about getting water to folks. She double checks the wounded, walking or other-wise, making sure they are resting as well as can be in the circumstances.
Sunny does help gather brush and twigs for making a fire. She moves to Ruul, Manny, Zeltor and Sorval.
"I in't tired. I can be more'n happy ta' keep a looking out." She offers. "I can see rilly good in'a dark." She grins, "Though, o'course, I dun't see when it's, y'know, rilly dark, like..." She adds, blushing.
"More...jus' gettin' dark..." She blinks, frowning as she tries to get right the terms in the language she's speaking.

Manny's location for a camp isn't too far off of the road. A nice clearing covered in twigs doesn't take too long to clear, either.
It is a quiet night, though a little bit of thunder deep into Sunny's shift makes her think it might rain.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 281d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 Why can't I get these rolls when I play a game!?
And one of the prisoners, though wounded, attempts to use the sound of the pre-storm conditions to break free into the night. It isn't any of the men that Sunny knew the name of, however.

Perception Check:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 (Sunny will be politely trying to make sure none of the folk they're with try and sneak off during her shift, including Hersh and especially 'Pup')
Eventually, after wandering about the camp, chatting quietly to whom ever is in the mood for conversation, Sunny will settle down by snuggling up with Donaon for the night.

The Pup is indeed in the mood for conversation, but it is so convoluted and strange a topic (making curse dolls with knives, a dead limb, and the teeth of a goblin that bit his grandmother in the dream he had three nights ago) that she's probably relieved when he gets tired.
By Manny's turn for watch, there's obviously one less prisoner in the grouping, his region of the camp empty. Manny realizes that this is the work of one of the most gravely wounded men, however.
The chances of him getting far without being eaten are, at best, minimal.

Ruul gets everyone ready to resume travel. "It's not much farther", the bull says encouragingly.

Oops.
Waking with a grunt, Ruul rubs his eyes. "Why'd he do that? He's going to get himself killed. Let's bring him in."
The minotaur climbs to his hooves and starts looking for tracks.

Ruul doesn't struggle to find the tracks of a limping man, despite the darkness. They're rather pathetic looking, in fact. A lot less pathetic looking than the other tracks that later converge on his trail with massive claws and depressions so marked that Ruul immediately knew that they belonged to some sort of large ursine creature.
Meanwhile, at camp, very little of interest happened save for increasing winds.

"Get the others. I'm still wounded. We might not be able to bring the beast down with just the two of us."
