Zeltor
"Hello there..." - Zeltor answers to the girl, completely beffudled by the torrent of conversation.
How many bandits are there remaining?
Sunny,
Sunny begins to skip about the room/cavern...generally looking for 'Her' chest of goodies (Which I think Hersh actually put aside? Mistress Trout?) Once she knows where they are, Sunny absently begins to talk to the prisoners. Her questions showing her lack of knowledge about Humans and its society in general.
Ruul Spiritskin
Okay, let us know what's going on after the rereading. If we have to, we'll chase down this crazy alchemist.
The Elusive Trout
He didn't say anything about killing them on the spot or not. He just wanted you to "smoke them out" and "deal with them". The subtext, however, may be clear. He just wants the roads safe. However, proof of demise should get you some cash, at least in the case of the leaders.
Sunny,
Oh! Din't realize folks wus still leakin'!
Suny will do her best to help those bleeding.
Heal Check:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Argh! I hate this dice roller! (>_<)
Suny begins trying to find material to turn into bandages etc...
Perception:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Skipping over to Ruul, Manny, Sorval and Zeltor.
"Some of 'em is still leakin'..." She points out, "T'is messy..." And she makes a 'squicky' face.
Ruul Spiritskin
Not feeling especially charitable, Ruul snorts and shakes his head at Sunny's request for aid. "They tried to kill us and butchered others. Why should we save their lives now?"
The Elusive Trout
Sunny finds another healer's kit, but it's obvious that everyone except for the unconscious female has already died.
"If you'll excuse me, the pup and I don't intend to make more trouble for you all, but we will force our way out of here if we have to. We don't expect mercy, but you are all rather tired." Hersh points out.

:(
Sunny hands the healing stuff over to the group, though she does continue to look at the passed folks sadly.
"If you'll excuse me, the pup and I don't intend to make more trouble for you all, but we will force our way out of here if we have to. We don't expect mercy, but you are all rather tired." Hersh points out.
At Hersh's comments Sunny perks up, spins and bounces over to where she's lead the fellow.
"I dun't be thinkin' they's gon'a trounce ye none." She does wave a finger in Hersh and Pup's direction, "But ye'd be silly ta' be pickin' a fight now, when ye dun't have te, ya ken?" She asks brightly, then looks at the other bandits.
"Tha' way I be seein' it...." And she pauses for effect, hand on brown hip, "...Is that some folks were taken' right advantage of by false promises an' offers whut they din't right fully un'erstand by them's what, it so obliviously do turns out, was people who actually meant them wrong..." She lets her idea (assuming they can understand her language/lingo) sink in,
Diplomacy:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
"SO! People's thinkin' they should be makin' amends fer them-selfs being so wrongly put t'a bad use might be thinkin' that a change of sides be in'a offin', hey?" (^_~)
Sunny,
Sunny looks over her bare, brown shoulder at 'Her buddies' and blinks...
"Uhm...." She looks back at Hersh (Or whom every it was speaking). "Hold that thought, okeys?" (^_^) And she skips over to Sorval, Ruul and Zeltor
Then giggles, "We is already 'Buddies'! In't that grand!"
Also, sorry for seeming to be 'spamming' posts. It's just that I am now on my 'Week end' and am making up for the time when I will be lagging in posting. (^_^) Much cheers to all!
Ruul Spiritskin
Both Ruul and I are utterly lost in regards to what Sunny is suggesting. Whatever plan you've got in mind, have at it.
,
Sorry for Sunny being so unintelligible. :( So...we offer this lot the chance to join us against their evil employers. Thence giving them the chance to 'Earn redemption'...Then we can go back to town and say it was the evil Clerics which were causing all the fuss. Blame the Bosses, not the Employees. (^_^)
Is that a good plan? (>_>)
The Elusive Trout
Yeah, they're in the "in", as it were.
"If you're talking about the Lady and the Sculptor, that should be know hardship. They both abuse magic like it's no one's business whilst being none-too-talkative. The Lady is a wizard, and has been known to whisper prayers to dark powers of some sort. Corquis is a recluse and a "craftsman". He's a butcher, but also has been able to supplement his income as a legitimate alchemist from time to time."
Hersh finishes, crossing his arms.
"The Lady has some sort of... um... sponsor. She gets messages regularly via crows, and she has her own." Volunteers another man.
"Wonder where the biggun' is." Pup giggles, staring owlishly at the exit.
"M' talking about the sentry bird, of course."
The Elusive Trout
"It's not her sentry bird. It belongs.. or perhaps belonged to Kromus. He was on guard duty, and he might have let her out for her nightly hunt." Hersh says, stroking his beard.
"She's a large falcon. However, the boss lady's bird is a raven."
"And a dick." someone else mutters. "-but he's usually away delivering her messages."
Ruul Spiritskin
"Whatever it is, we should try to catch it inside where it's wings are no good", Ruul advises. "Where do these birds usually arrive?"
The Elusive Trout
There's a perch high in the air in the room in which you fought the flesh creature.
"I'm more worried about the large bird. Even though it has to comically squeeze through the front entrance." Hersh relents. "Again, I must stress that we're not out of this until we take out Corquis."
The Elusive Trout
The horse neighs at Sunny, but it's perfectly obvious that it won't go down towards Corquis' lab without a fight. Hersh, on the other hand, enters behind her, motioning a grumbling Pup.
The passage down is quite steep, and the party is reduced to entering one at a time. Ruul and Manny, therefore, are the first to notice the enormous chamber, lit with beakers and alembics full of phosphorescent chemicals and blue, magical lights. There are also jars of human and animal parts stacked up in the back corner, including a floating fetus of some sort.
There are two corpses that Sunny would recognize hanging to the left, butchered like pigs. A sizeable operating table sits in the center of the room, smeared with blood and whatever that god-awful goop was that filled the monster.
Tubes are hung in coils, syringes litter the floor, and life-sized skeletons sit against the wall like models.
Cabinets have been hastily constructed out of scrap-wood and piled crates.
Lastly, there are the hands. The hands seem to be chained to the base of the operating table, and all six of them crawl around on the floor like spiders until they reach the end of their tethers and are snapped back, forced to clamber in another direction.
There is a fallen figure on the other side of the table, but it's hard to make out more from this angle.
Ruul Spiritskin
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Ruul recoils both at the gruesome sights and the awful stench. The bull gestures toward the table. "There's a body over there."
Sunny,
Sunny will first talk to the people were possibly leaving behind. Reassure them they'll be okay, that sort of thing. Suggest they don't all r7n away, since it'll be Manny, Ruul and such who'll be vouching for them when we all get back to town. When we come across poor Donaon, Sunny will make sure he's doing okay and comfortable and such. (^_^)
Upon looking at the room, its contents and such Sunny will be all ogog with interest.
"Here, it be like when we find 'Shamblers' walkin' in from tha' ocean." She exclaims. Upon seeing the state of the floor, she is more like.
"Eeeeew! Tha' floor be all squicky!" (>_<)
Sorval
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Sorval spies the two bodies and grimaces with anger...
That's just plain wrong, I just hope they weren't kept alive for it...
He dies; then we track down the witch he was collaborating with.
