Sorvalyn was born sixteen years ago to a Catfolk clan that she'll never know; as her clan was wiped out by a dragon shortly afterwards... and only her and her older brother Kaltro were the only two to survive the assault. Carrying and caring for his new born sister for almost a month; the Seven year old boy finally found help; in the form of fairly minor Taldor noble family, The Dyrsaids.

Kaltro eventually blossomed into a sorceror and went off in search of the dragon responsible for the end of his clan. Much to Sorvalyn's frustrations that path was denied to her; so she trained and studied, and trained and studied. eventually bring forth the talents hidden in her blood; the path Magi was open to her... now the next step; she put one foot in front of the other... hoping her caretakers would understand.
