Sister Ciaran |

Round 6
As you climb up the containers a few of the mutants follow, but most remain on the ground to attack the Sororitas. Sister Adele scoffs at your suggestion Brother Hammern, saying: "Cowed so easily by mere abominations Astartes? Fine, scurry to safety. We will see that these mutants pay for their transgressions."
Brother Hammern (12+):
Mutant Horde(12): Part of the horde splits off to follow you while the rest attack the Sisters: 1d100 ⇒ 57 but they are still held at bay.
Sororitas (12): 1d100 ⇒ 92 Fail to make the most of their advantage and lose a significant portion of their progress.
Brother Arkhos (9): Climbs on top of the nearby containers.

Round 7
Brother Hammern (12+): [ooc]Still has round 6 actions remaining
Mutant Horde(12): 3d100 ⇒ (94, 87, 39) = 220 The mutants catch one of the Sisters off guard, pouncing on her for 2d10 + 7 ⇒ (10, 2) + 7 = 19 damage.
Sororitas (12): Sister Adele fires another shot from her flame pistol into the horde, burning another swathe of mutants.
Brother Arkhos (9):

Brother Ulrich Hammern |

Sorry for the slow posting.
Ulrich quickly climbs to the top of the crates as well, responding to the scornful words of the Sororitas as he did so, "Interesting that you are unable to tell the difference between tactics and cowardice."
If he is able to reach the top of the crates with actions to spare, Ulrich will again draw his Bolter.

Brother Ulrich Hammern |

Ulrich levels his bolter at the horde and unleashes a hail of bolter fire into the mutants that are swarming near the Sisters of Battle.
Full auto burst, assuming close range and higher ground advantage.
Attack 50+10+20+10+10=90: 1d100 ⇒ 9, 8 DoS = 4 hits.
Damage: 2d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5, 5) + 5 + 2 = 17 X Pen 5.
Damage: 2d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (8, 6) + 5 + 2 = 21 X Pen 5.
Damage: 2d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (7, 7) + 5 + 2 = 21 X Pen 5.
Damage: 2d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (1, 7) + 5 + 2 = 15 X Pen 5.
Ammo Count:
Bolt Pistol: 13
Bolter (Regular/Hellfire/Kraken): 23/28/28

GM JC Spooks |

High ground advantage only applies to WS tests
Brother Arkhos jumps from on top of the container and grabs a low-hanging catwalk where he can haul himself to even higher ground. Meanwhile below Brother Hammern has fired his bolter in to the vulnerable horde of mutants below, finishing off the few remaining abominations. Now free from the pressure of the creatures Sister Adele has stopped for a moment to give her subordinates the opportunity to collect themselves before continuing.
The Mutants have been defeated
Combat has ended

Brother Ulrich Hammern |

Ulrich looks up towards Brother Arkhos and speaks on their secure channel, "Brother Arkhos, do you want to continue with the attempt to break off from the Sisters now, or should we wait until another opportunity presents itself. It might look a little suspicious if we do so right now with the mutants all dead."

Brother Ulrich Hammern |

Ulrich looks to see where the catwalk might lead, as well as to see if there is a path along the top of the crates.
"It seems that the catwalks will be a better avenue of ingress, and will allow greater tactical options in the event of another attack."
Ulrich switches his communicator to include the Sister Superior as he climbs up to join Brother Arkhos, "Sister Superior Adele, these catwalks will likely provide a better route into the manufactorium, as well as a greater array of tactical possibilities in the event of another attack."

Sister Ciaran |

"Do what you will Astartes." says Sister Adele as she once again gathers the sisters around her and gets them moving again.
As you continue your trudge through the sub-facility it looks like any remaining mutants have decided to back off in light of your fierce resistance. You casually note that this place was once used to recycle waste produced in Gunmetal city.
Eventually you reach a maintenance access that will take you from the catwalks into the Manufactorum itself. Below the Sisters seem to have also arrived at a similar access. You could choose to link up with them or simply continue on in you respective entrances.

GM JC Spooks |

Once inside you can see that the maintenance shaft is much bigger than you expected, huge even. Your only option is to follow the twisting corridor of pipes and wires to wherever it may lead you. It takes only a few minutes of walking for you to completely lose sight of the Sisters in the tunnel below you.
Shortly thereafter you reach the Manufactorum, apparently undetected. While the power is clearly on in this facility the lights are still incredibly dim, though you dear here the distant clang of machinery. In the air you pick up the faintest scent of blood mixed in with the smell of metal and oil.
By your estimation you are somewhere on the far end of the complex near the main manufacturing floor. Below is the store houses while above you is the administrative facilities. You are currently unsure of the position of the Sisters.

GM JC Spooks |

Unfortunately with no Cartograph you don't have a map on hand that you can reference. However, you still have good memory of the Watch-Captains briefing where he told you that the Dreadnought was located somewhere in the lower storehouses while the rebels were likely using the administrative area as their command hub.

Brother Ulrich Hammern |

Ulrich follows Arkhos' lead. While he is not entirely comfortable with leaving the Sororitas behind, they do have their orders for which the Sororitas are unwelcome.
"Agreed, Brother Arkhos. Whither thou goest, there shall I follow." Ulrich deactivates his power sword and drapes his cameleoline cloak around himself; perhaps any enemies will not notice him immediately and underestimate the situation.

GM JC Spooks |

Despite your efforts to remain as concealed as possible you are eventually forced towards the manufacturing floor in your search for a way downwards. The automated assembly lines in this section of the facility appear to be currently producing artillery shells of some sort.
Looking around you can see the source of the scent earlier in the way of mutilated remains strewn about the assembly floor. However, those that left them have long left as now only few servitors remain wandering among the machinery. At the far end of the floor you can see a large freight elevator and you feel it is safe to assume that it will get you closer to your destination. You would have to run the risk of crossing the manufacturing floor to get to it. You could also continue on in hopes of finding another way down.

GM JC Spooks |

1d100 ⇒ 9
Brother Arkhos, you make it down to the assembly line with near-perfect aptitude. The soft padding of your boots is virtually undetectable under the current circumstances. You easily reach the elevator and a quick glance reveals that there is some sort of locking mechanism controlled by a keypad.
Brother Hammern, you follow close behind the tactical marine. However, you made a slight miscalculation plotting your course that results in a patrolling servitor catching a fleeting glimpse of your shadow as it turns a corner. Still unsure of your actual presence, the hybrid of flesh and machine paces over to investigate the anomaly.

GM JC Spooks |

You are able to bypass the elevators security measures and take direct control of its machine-spirit. You'll be able to use it, but you'll have to gauge where to stop on your own unless you disable the security systems as well.
Disabling the elevator further will require a Security roll, otherwise you have use of the elevator in a limited capacity.

Brother Ulrich Hammern |

Unless I am reading the text wrong, security cannot be used untrained. I did not notice that when selecting the multikey. We will have to try to gauge where to stop.
Ulrich looks at the multikey, but is unable to figure out how to make it properly interface with the elevator's machine spirit. He turns back to Arkhos, "Brother Arkhos, I cannot seem to make this thing interface with the machine spirit."

GM JC Spooks |

Using your jury-rigged control system the two of you make your descent into the bowels of the Manufactorum. While one operates the elevator the other holds the main door open so you can attempt to read the shaft markings and catch a glimpse of the floors as they pass.
If either of you wish to spend a FP you will end up on the correct floor with no issue. Otherwise your destination will be determined randomly.
1d100 ⇒ 96
1d4 ⇒ 2
You finally decide to stop the elevator and it grinds to a halt in response. Before you is a T intersection, with a hallway leading to your left and to your right. On the wall directly infront of you is a sign that reads Storage Block 36Z. Just below that is another that says Authorized Personnel Only. Security Measures Present. Woe to the Enemies of Mankind.
Now that you've left the constant thrum of machinery and the smell of blood behind, this portion of the facility seems eerie by comparison.
