@Mayberry, no worries at all. This medium can be a bit jarring, especially if you are working from a mobile device.
Sliver aims and lets an arrow fly, but is not quite able to thread the needle as Aukan's large form blocks much of his target!
Oghren lops the head off the orc with an easy swing! Purple is dead. Oghren, are you going to continue your move after to head toward the bridge where they are coming from or maybe toward blue?
Mayberry's next bolt of fire slams into the chest of the closest orc (blue), but fails to drop it. Its hides smolder as it continues to run forward!
Eeerie rounds the fence post of the crop field and calls upon his dark power again. His dark god responds, tentacles shooting out from the ground and tearing May's target apart! Blue is dead!
No more targets are in view, but you can still hear the whooping of the chief and the song of the shaman coming from the moat!
If anyone that hasn't moved yet would like to move, go ahead. Eeerie may also move for better positioning as well.
Dalron, Mayberry, Snow, Sliver, Aukan, Oghren, Eeerie, Kella (will go after everyone else)

Snow in the Valley |

Snow moves to the top of the windmill hill and readies a bow shot for any other orcs who crest the cliff.
Shor Bow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 for Piercing Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Crit Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Round 4
The warchief climbs up the broken bridge with ease and is met with an arrow to the eye! He takes a step back in surprise and turns his attention on Snow!
The orc closes the distance in an incredible amount of time and swings on the tabaxi woman with his great axe!
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 Yikes! Snow takes 26 damage!
The orc warchief howls to his dark god, now mirroring it with his stolen eye and turns to swing on Snow again!
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
But the monk frantically slips out of the way of the heavy strike!
Everyone may go, the map is updated!
Dalron, Mayberry, Snow, Sliver, Aukan, Oghren, Eeerie, Kella (will go after everyone else)

Snow in the Valley |

While scrambling back
Sumersault Kick: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 Bludgeoning: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
ki point, bonus action disengage, also doubles jump distance
Double speed free
shoulder the bow interaction
Back up to the wind mill and then running leap off the windmill hill toward the others.
If snow would take damage from the 15ft drop in elevation she will use her reaction to slow the fall and take no damage. Essentially with the running start, she jumps roughly 38ft. I figure 15-20ft on top is f the hill leaving her with another 20-25ft she can move once she hits the ground. Sooooo. Lol she should have plenty of room to end her turn next to Dalron in front of building 9
”Parrrdon me, could you perrrhaps help me with this gaping wound in my side?” she asks calmly.
5/31 hps, 2/4 Kairon points, 3 arrows remaining.

![]() |

Dalron moves toward Snow and Channel Divinity: Preserve Life; I dump the whole 15 hp into Snow. But I think she can only gain up to 1/2 of hp max. So she will be at 16 HP. She takes 11 of them, the other 4 are wasted due to no one else is hurt bad enough.
The spiritual weapon moves to the orc and takes a swing. Bonus action
Spiritual Weapon Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
EDIT: Snow posted as I was typing

![]() |

Round 4
Snow's somersault kick thuds against the orc's chain mail and does not seem inconvenienced at all! The warchief bellows out a challenge!
Dalron calls to his god, and a warmth flows through Snow, closing her wound a bit. She can see a mirrored redness appear on the priest through the seams in his armor...
@Dalron, the spiritual weapon only moves 20, right? If so, it will be about 5 feet short. Would you like to hold it back, since you know they move much more swiftly than your weapon can? And your alias is showing. ;)
Dalron, Mayberry, Snow, Sliver, Aukan, Oghren, Eeerie, Kella (will go after everyone else)

Mayberry Kelhandha |

May's eyes widen as the orc charges, not exactly displeased he chose a different target but wincing to see Snow wounded. She takes a deep breath, concentrates, and firebolt because always firebolt: 1d20 + 5 + 1d4 ⇒ (19) + 5 + (2) = 26 and gives a small fist pump when it strikes damage: 1d10 ⇒ 4.

Sliver. |

Sliver comes forward some to get the orc chief in range of his hunter's mark, then fires at him.
Longbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Hunter's Mark: 1d6 ⇒ 6

![]() |

@Dalron, got it.
Round 4
Sliver's arrow thuds into the braggadocios orc causing a leg to buckle!
Immediately after, a gout of flame surges forth from Mayberry and envelops the orc, but he still stands there bellowing his challenge further!
Dalron, Mayberry, Snow, Sliver, Aukan, Oghren, Eeerie, Kella (will go after everyone else)

Oghren Battlehammer |

Oghren runs up and readies an attack for the orc! "I can smell you over here you stink-brute!"
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1d4 ⇒ (2) + 5 + (3) = 10
Damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Aukan Knows-No-Fear |

Aukan doesn't speak Orcish, but he knows a challenge when he hears one.
Aukan points his axe at the Chief.
Ya t’eíčakiš! Ya zuyá Aukn screams and he charges headlong at the Chief.
GM as a reaction whenever the Chief hits Aukan for the first time subtract 1d12+3 damage, using his Stone's Endurance racial ability
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Battleaxe: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Eeerie |

Eerie's gaze snaps to the direction of the song coming from the shaman. With a creepy single-mindedness he begins walking in that direction. As he gets close to the chief, the tentacles spring to life on their own attacking the chief. Though Eerie seems to ignore the chief he does whisper as he gets close, "Your 'one-eye' god is nothing.." These words don't seem to have the normal Eerie quialities. The voice is hollow, deep, and powerful.
Elritcch Blast: 1d20 ⇒ 20
dmg: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
crit: 1d10 ⇒ 5
Also! As Eerie draws closer, all but Sliver can hear the screams, yells, and laughter in their minds.

![]() |

Oghren charges forward, but swinging from the low ground puts him at a slight disadvantage, as the orc leaps over his swing!
Aukan, charges toward the challenge didn't quite have enough move to get there, but since you have not moved the last few turns, we will handwaive that, assuming that you have been moving towards after every orc is dropped and swings hard! The exhaustion finally catches up to the war chief and he cannot move out of the way in time, as the goliath's axe tears through his flesh... the orc drops to the ground!
The shaman steps onto the bridge, sees the fallen war chief and seems to growl something. It looks to you all and calls out, You win dis day! Earseekers lose much. Gruumsh spit on Earseekers this day! But Taal One-eye will meet da father dis day!
Eeerie can take a readied action since there were no targets left when his turn came up and Kella will take a shot!
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Kella's shot is wide left, shooting beyond accurate range for her...
Round 5
Eeerie up!

![]() |

Sorry, he did not step up into view until the beginning of round 5. I screwed up the notation. Round 5 should have come up before he stepped on the bridge... I will say that you readied. I was in the process of doing so, when work called and my response timed out.
--
Round 5
Eeerie calls upon his tentacled friends again and they spring out from under the bridge and pull the shaman backwards, tearing at flesh all the while! The tentacles pull the orc back toward the edge of the bridge... 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 and off!
But a moment later you see that it managed to catch the edge and hang on, as it pulls itself up and runs at you! 25 ft of move used up for various shenanigans
The orc seems to call out in orcish and a spectral spear appears next to Eeerie! It mirrors the orc's own spear as the shaman performs an almost superman-punch style thrust at Oghren!
Spear @ Oghren: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Spiritual Weapon @ Eeerie: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
The shaman's spear punches through the dwarf's chain mail drawing a wound! Oghren takes 11 hp of damage!
The spectral spear, however, only seems to catch on the robes of Eeerie! And I am assuming, your studded leathers...

![]() |

Round 5
Aukan's axe tears across flesh, but the orc yet stands, defiant!
Dalron, Mayberry, Snow, Sliver, Aukan, Oghren, Eeerie, Kella (will go after everyone else)

Sliver. |

Sliver can see the shaman? Then fire.
Longbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Hunter's Mark: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Dalron Cleric of Ilmater |

It looks like Dalron's Spiritual Weapon is 20' from the orc
Dalron commands his Spiritual Weapon to attack the Orc Chief
Spiritual Weapon Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Spiritual Weapon Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Holding his holy symbol in the air. He then says a small prayer to ease Snow's suffering
using a 2nd level slot
Cure Wounds: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (4, 5) + 6 = 15

Mayberry Kelhandha |

Mayberry feels an unexpected surge in magical energy (spending sorcery points), and hoping the group is able to bring it down as fast as the others, lets fly 3 magic missiles at the lone rampaging orc. Magic Missile: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3, 2) + 3 = 10

Oghren Battlehammer |

Oghren lets out an angry dwarf curse!
Second wind as bonus action
Second wind: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Oghren then attacks the shaman!
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1d4 ⇒ (18) + 5 + (1) = 24
Damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Snow in the Valley |

Nice Dalron. 31/31 for Snow.
Nodding in appreciation at Dalron, Snow pulls her bow back off of her shoulder and let’s loose one of her last shafts.
Shor Bow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 for Piercing damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
She then lopes forward closing the distance between her and the shaman.

![]() |

Dalron's spectral scourge tears at the face of the orc, then the silvery bolts of force erupt from Mayberry's fingers, slamming into its chest!
Oghren spins and takes the shaman's head from its shoulders!
Combat over!
It is a few moments before you realize that the war drums have stopped... A quick run to the towers reveals that the orcs that stood upon the hill lay dead, pierced by several arrows!
A small warband of elves crest the rise of the hills, inspect the bodies and look up at the towers and call out, in the Common tongue, You're welcome!
There is definitely a sarcastic edge to the call, but the elves have a laugh among themselves and turn to return to Ardeep Forest...
Okay session two is done! I will post the rewards in the Discussion thread.

Dalron Cleric of Ilmater |

Dalron is not too proud to take the help that was needed
Thank you very much!
He calls back
He then breaks out the his healing kit and tends to the wounded
Who ever is wounded roll a 1d6+4+ you hit die so I know who I used it on (once per day only)

Aukan Knows-No-Fear |

Aukan places his weapons down and begins his victory dance, singing a song of his valor.
e'ca sun'ka mici'la yun'kan tal'ku vJa' te sni yun'kan na Jiin ~aka' pin ye! oya ' te kinhan "Oghren" caze maya tapl ca blihe ' iciya
waon' kte he h~ya 'keya ' pelo ' Tatan "Orc"' ka-iyo 'take he h~ya' keya ' pi we'
He dances around the fallen body of the warchief and at the end he slices off the tip of the orc's pinky finger.
A great victory today Oghren Dwarf-Friend. Did you see my mighty blow? I have slain their Chief. Aukan boasts as he walks with the dwarf to the inn

It's once per short rest. ;)

It is late in the afternoon, and those familiar with the horrors of war know that soon, the bodies will begin stinking. (I believe at least one of you has a Soldier background, maybe? At the very least, Aukan would know.)
You create a pyre to burn the bodies to ash, and the guards tell you that they intend to leave for Waterdeep at first light. They will let the Nandar family know what you have done for them.
The inn's ale stores are well-stocked for the coming winter and so you all feast well in celebration.
The guards tell you that if any survivors remain, they are likely to have gone North to hide in some cave systems in the hills. I think that they told you this before, but reiterate it through the night. If any survivors remain, please find them and tell them that it is safe to return, they say.
--
What is your next move?

Sliver. |

The group goes to celebrate and Eerie goes off by himself, Sliver looks between the two. He eventually follows Eerie at a discrete distance (at the edge of where he begins to hear things). He does not understand Eerie at all, but he is an ally. Friend? And does not want him to be alone.
Sliver does not speak unless Eerie asks a direct question.

Eeerie |

Eerie strolls for a distance and then turns suddenly. With his head oddly overly cocked to one side, "Jou follow me why?" The voices stop upon his turning.

Dalron Cleric of Ilmater |

After tending the wounded. Dalron climbs one of the watch towers by the draw bridge just to make sure there are no more surprises out there. He see Silver and Eerie talking but can not hear what is being said.
I bet it take a lot out of Eerie to keep his powers under control.

Mayberry Kelhandha |

May would have followed after Eerie, too, making sure he's okay. Since Silver already mentioned it, I'll say she saw someone looking after him and went on to the celebration.
So Kella...what does she do?
And then we should definitely head up to tell any remaining villagers what's transpired and that we think it's safe to come back.

![]() |

Kella leans against the wall and watches you all celebrate, waiting in uncertainty of whether you all will hold to your word.

Sliver. |

"Well, they are odd. And I don't like them, but you stood with us against the Zhents and the orcs. I don't know what's going on with the voices, but you are ok with me. The others would probably say the same too. I think we're all gathering to celebrate our victory. You should be there."

Oghren Battlehammer |

After having some food and ale to wet his whistle, while avoiding Aukan's wrestling challenges asks, "How long should we rest before locating the villagers?"

Mayberry Kelhandha |

May has a feeling Aukan will not be having any takers, though it would be fun to watch! What time is it? I'm guessing late in the day? If so... We should probably head out at first light. They should be safe where they are.

![]() |

The sun was low in the sky when you defeated the last of the orcs and it was close to dusk after you dealt with the bodies...
