Suddenly...the waves stop pouring from the tunnel...and instead of the chaotic crashing of waves, the huge volume of water starts to spin - a terrific vortex of energy drawing water upwards and smashing it against the ceiling. Fire begins to envelop not only Yasmin's hands, but her entire body. Even the water she walks in seems to withdraw in fear. Summoning every ounce of her remaining magical reserves, she channels all of of her energy into a concentrated gout of fire!

Spending an action point for an extra standard action, and casting Burning Hands twice! (Although if the first one kills him, then obviously save the action point).

    Burning Hands 1: 5d4 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 3, 4) = 13 Reflex DC16 for half
    Burning Hands 2: 5d4 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 3, 4) = 12 Reflex DC16 for half

Aaaand, I'm out of spells, so I'm pretty much useless now.

Yasmin, having scorched the undine who was so protective of his research, steps forward and blasts him one more time with fire...

The smell of burnt flesh and steam that fills the room is momentarily unbearable... The blue-skinned humanoid screaming in pain before lifelessly slipping under the water - at the same time, the crab that was poised to bite at the retreating Rallos suddenly blinks out of existence...

Yasmin - you did not need to use your Hero Point nor your second Burning Hands

*Edit* - Added some dialogue so everyone knows what happened to the water elemental.

Yasmin is still wracked with tension as she sees the Undine go down. She looks around for more threats, only to see that the crab they were fighting had vanished into thin air. "The water elemental went through that portal here in this room. I think the battle is over." As stillness sets in again, she let out a long exhale. She looks over the fallen Undine, feeling a mixture of anger and pity.

"You idiot, you should've shot me when you had the chance." Yasmin was pretty sure she was alive only because the Undine had shown mercy to her, commanding the water elemental to release her from its grip, and calling on her to surrender instead of just finishing her. She lifts his head out of the water so he won't drown, at least. "Ea, do you think this one might still live with some healing from Pharasma? I think he wanted to spare my life, so I owe him his."

The large room that the fight ended in is as flooded as the others that you have explored on this level of the Spire - the water level standing at waist height...only now, you have discovered the reason for the flooding: every minute or so, fresh water gushes through the strange shimmering pool on the wall...the pool that Yasmin has accurately determined to be a portal...to somewhere.

Around the room, various wooden tables - sturdy despite being semi-submerged in water - are stacked with crates and also laid out with bedding.

To the south there are two alcoves in the room (one being where the Undine had been hiding)... and through the crystal-clear water, you can plainly see metal hatches in the floor...

Grayface was incredibly relieved that the combat was over with. Nothing in all his years of combat had prepared him for the horror of a giant wall of living violent water. Not even the undead minions and giant spiders of the levels above had unnerved him so. There was something in the dichotomy of benign water and this water devil's potential for killing that unsettled him deeply. He would never look at fluids the same way.

Keeping a sharper look out in the waters surrounding him and his friends, he slogged over to Yasmin.
"You foolish girl! You could have been killed!" His visage changed from anger to one of respect -- his good eye twinkled. "And well done! Your magic was impressive. You chilled even my bones with those attacks."

Looking to the twinkling water portal on the north wall, his look of anger came back full force. "What in the nine hells is that? The water devil retreated into that...thing?"

Grayface will help Rallos look around the room and check the crates and bedding for valuables.

The fighter will then approach the southern alcoves to take a look at the metal hatches.
