The Force |

Adar turns to the three of you with a somber look on his face.
"Do not throw your lives away on this old man. They can torture or do whatever but they will never get any information from me nor will I help them in any future endeavors. Lets turn ourselves over and see where fate, or the force as you master Jedi call it, takes us. Better to live another day. You should hide your lightsaber someplace safe though I'm afraid do not want to be taken with that in hand."

Kagore |

"Aye. We...need to surrender. It won't do the rebellion any good to die here for no reason. You all need ta value your lives and thing about how not being around will affect the bigger picture. Just merely surviving isn't enough though and I promise you all that if we surrender now, we are going to escape and complete our mission." He doesn't add or die tryig but the younger men clearly need some reassurance now that all hope is not lost.
Kagore shouts out of the hatchway. "Hold your fire! We surrender and are coming out!"

Lt. Col. Antonius N Heshvaun |

A tight smile graces the Command Officer's face.
"There is a lesson here Lieutenant, sometimes Yyeger sugar is more effective than a Bantha Prod."
"Have all squads set weapons on stun, even your snipers, just in case my charm is not what it used be."
On the ship's com
"Excellent. Leave ALL your weapons on board your vessel. Open your hatch door in precisely one Imperial minute. Disembark single file with your hands and appendages clasped on your heads."

Rufus Griller |

Rufus stares at the speaker, amazed that the comms are still working after all that ion damage. Then the voice catches up to him. Heshvaun. Of all the voices in the Galaxy, his was among the top ten he wasn't expecting. Well, top fifty, easily.
He rubs his face and thinks. Heshvaun wasn't like Corresk and Porgoficus -- a remotely decent being, despite being an officer. But he obviously managed to advance out of the exile that was the Coolenth Sector. There was no telling how he'd changed. But it piqued Rufus' curiosity enough to find out.
He makes sure the baffles are still running and the navicomputer is wiped before joining the others on the ramp.
"Sooooo, Heshvaun. Been a while. You still starching your uniform?*"
Rufus and his cronies back in Freelanx once introduced a nasty allergen into the starch for all the officers' uniforms. It might not have been funny for the officers, but for the enlisted, seeing them chafe and strain to not itch like mad was hilarious.

The Force |

INTERIOR: Relentless Brig
As all the excitement unfolds in the docking baby a lone figure sits in the brig in some kind of meditative posture just waiting for his chance to escape...
###########################################
INTERIOR: Relentless Docking Bay
All the storm trooper obey their orders setting the blasters to stun still paining at the ship waiting for the rebels to come out.

Kagore |

Kagore removes his obvious weapons but leaves his armor on under his desert clothing. He looks at Gotal and his lightsaber. "I'd hide that on the ship...very well."
He stands at the hatch when the minute ends and opens it walking out, prepared to be the first one shot if they decide to open fire.

The Force |

Tallon slaps Kagore on the shoulder as he walks out with him and his wife following with droid not far behind.
"Your a fine soldier Kagore. Was a pleasure meeting you on this mission."
As you exit the ship the closest troopers order you to the ground on your knees, pat you down and put manacles on your hands in front of you (because troopers never put the hands behind the back!).

Kagore |

"Aye, likewise Adon. I'll do my best to protect your wife no matter how this all plays out..."
Kagore then is manhandled by these pup troopers as they cuff him. He smiles showing his teeth as they shove him along but he leaves the smart ass comments to the younger generation of rebels like Gotal and Rufus.

Gotal of Umbara |

Gotal uses the Force to quickly screw off a panel and hides his Saber behind it, screwing the panel back on to hide it as this is no hidden compartment it will likely not be found.
Gotal then heads out of the ship a look of resignation on his face.

Lt. Col. Antonius N Heshvaun |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

A Imperial officer in distinct off white military tunic and ebon slacks that identify him as a member of the Imperial Security Bereau moves towards the officers and troopers surrounding the Mon Cal frieghter.
Despite the crisp and clean appeared he shares with the other officers of both the Imperial Army and Navy, his colleagues give him a wide berth, as if he was a plague carrier.
Lt. Colonel Heshvaun is no longer smiling.
Lt. Colonel Heshvaun: a long intake of breath to keep his distaste for the man in check.
"Ah, Evax, so good of you to join us. Do you expect Mon Mothma to be onboard the freighter? I don't think it's her taste in colour, but then again I missed the last Fashion Week on Coruscant. And I have not subscribed to Jawa Quarterly, my colour palette is out of date."
The ISB officer meet the comment with with a half smile. Literally.
Half the man's face has a small grin and the other half maintians a cold and stern demeanor. It is the well practiced act of a madman.
Officer Evax:
"Not all of us are war heroes Lt. Colonel. there is a pause, and no hiding contempt of a man who treats aliens as equals. "We each serve His Majesty's Emprie as best we can. I am simply here to scrutinize the captives for any persons of interest."
- - -
Full disclosure, Evax was a character I created for the Deciper Star Wars card game. And while he is a Canon character I never got to use him in RP until now.

The Force |

The group standing in shackles is a mixed bag of beans. You have a male alien of Umbara who is probably in his mid 30's standing tall and calm. Next to him a young male human always with a smirk on his face. And last but not least is an old man in desert robes you can easily tell is an old clone troopers from the clone wars.

Rufus Griller |

Rufus scowls as the binders are affixed to his wrists. He was actually a bit offended that Heshvaun completely failed to react to his taunt. He hadn't originally intended to get him with the practical joke -- Corresk and Porgoficus had been the principal targets of his fun -- but he had to have made an impression on the Army lieutenant.
"Wow. Nothing? I'm a little insulted," he goads, then shakes his head in disappointment.
Then the ISB agent appears and discusses their capture with Heshvaun. Rufus's mouth twists. He hated their type, and was eminently grateful that the ISB never decided to send one of their agents to Freelanx Port. He didn't like where this was headed, and both Tallon and his Force-using friend would be unfortunate targets of Evax's attention. The situation wasn't looking good, but he had one weapon left. His mouth.
"'Persons of Interest?' Oh! That would be me! I do a mean cover of Lapti Nek. Guaranteed to get your toes tapping and your butt shaking."

Lt. Col. Antonius N Heshvaun |

Antonius had a fairly good memory for voices, the mocking voice seemed familiar somehow. Where had he heard that voice before?
As the captured prisoners filled off onto the ramp he looks at each in turn to see if any their faces would jog his memory.
Then, in the midst of the rabble, surrounded by his very men, stood a ghost from his past.
The Imperial Officer shifts his stance to hide his features from the ISB officer, and focuses on he face of the man in the middle of the group of Rebels.
Tallon? Adar Tallon?!! Impossible! Imperial Intelligence had long ago reported him dead. Did Evax recognize him as well?
Antonius attempts to keep the ISB's focus elsewhere.
"My word, is that a Clone? Interesting, as you know I led a two platoons of them as a junior officer, EXCELLENT soldiers really." (despite what your own propaganda officers would spout off)
"At the second Battle of Mimban my entire unit got the Senate's commendation and the Crescent of Service. Further, if you would indulge an old chap a moment of small pride, I myself got the Medal of Valor from then Chancellor and now our Emperor himself! Have I ever shown you that one to you Evax?"
"As I was saying, splendid soldiers, really."
Despite himself, the ISB officer lets out a small groan.
"Yes, yes you have shown me your ornaments. A great many times to be sure." and walks over to inspect the prisoners.
- - -
GM The Force, feel free to roll to see if Evax notices a brief and subtle change in Heshvaun's demeanor.

Kagore |

Kagore took a step forward toward Evax as dozens of alert guns suddenly trained on him he stopped.
"I am flattered you felt the need to bring all these 'Stormtroopers' to take me in. If you want to see a real soldier in action though I'd be happy to show you...up close."

The Force |

Evax looks over the prisoners and then back to Heshvaun. "We will process them later for now get them to the holding cells per Captain Parlan's orders. I'm sure he will have words with this traitor" he points to Tallon "when it's convenient for him."
He motions for the storm troopers to take the prisoners off.
Heshvaun you can follow if you like no one would stop you.
The prisoners are escorted to the holding cells where all the cells are empty but one. Inside is a lone young human male sitting in what looks like a meditative type stance.
Relentless Detention Block 241
The three of you are tossed into the same cell as the meditating human while Tallon and his Wife in another. The droid is escorted off somewhere else before you make it to the Detention Block.

Kagore |

Kagore takes in the occupant of their cell, sizing up quickly he is unlikely an imperial, likely another prisoner like them from either the space station or another stop the Relentless made. He moves to the right side of the detention cell and leans against the wall both waiting and thinking. He had a couple suspicions...but he suspected his younger companions would quickly attempt to do something and he'd need to be ready with a plan when the time came to escape...

The Force |

Kagore |

Kagore's eyes move back to Colton as the younger man speaks to the old clone. Though he looks to be in his 50s he has aged well and seems to be in strong physical condition.
"Excuse me? Where do you think we've met before and who do you think I killed? For that matter who exactly are you? Its a big galaxy and I've been all over it doing work since before I joined the rebellion even."

Rufus Griller |

"HEY!!" Rufus shouts as he's pushed into the cell. "Room service at oh-eight hundred precisely, or there will be a very strongly worded letter to the concierge!"
He looks around the cell. "Four star service, my afterburners," he mutters.

Gotal of Umbara |

Gotal turns to the new man eyebrows raised in surprise though he says nothing. [i]A Jedi? Perhaps it was the will of the Force that we were captured...[/ooc]
He begins to inspect the cell and anything or anyone outside of it.
"Rufus, can you fly on of those Imperial shuttles, if we were able to get one?"
DM are there any Stormtroopers in sight? How are these cells constructed, any locks that could be manipulated through the Force or are they some sort of energy doors?

The Force |

The detention block is made up of many interconnected cell blocks. Turbolifts are located throughout, connected to each block by a short hallway. Six blocks attach to each turbolift bank, creating block stuers of 528 cells.
There are six detention block guards in the area that your aware of. The doors are all energy sealed with what you have there is probably no way to break free at the moment.
I'll let you guys interact a bit more and will move along this evening or tomorrow.

Kagore |

Kagore is quiet for a long time as he stares at Colton, his eyes going distant into another time and place. Finally he comes back to himself, and says nothing to the young man's question. Colton senses...an aura of guilt hovering between them as the old clone attempts to sidestep the question.
"Calm yourselves Rufus and Gotal. We don't need to abandon the Alabak Gold, we simply need to ensure they can not tractor beam us again so easily. For now I suggest we be patient and allow the gears in motion to turn. I have no doubt someone will check on us eventually and there may be another factor in the works..."
Finally he turned back to Colton and looked him directly in the eye and spoke to him.
"I am sorry that your teacher fell to the emperor's assassins. It is a credit to him you still live today. Perhaps you and Gotal might share experiences when we escape this place."

Gotal of Umbara |

"I certainly intend to return to the ship as I left something there I wish to retrieve. Still, the systems are disabled currently and we need to have a secondary escape plan in place my friend".
Gotal looks at the prisoner already in the cell, "I doubt we have all that much in common Kagore".

Rufus Griller |

Rufus looks at Kagore and throws up his hands. "Calm myself? I'm calm! This is me being calm! Why shouldn't I be calm? It's just that we're captured by an old commander of mine who doesn't remember me -- although, I'm not so sure that's a bad thing, come to think of it."

Kagore |

"There will be time enough for questions once we are away from here, but some answers serve no purpose toward our working together. Aye we are Rebels or close as makes no difference. There are three others who were seperated from us. Adar Tallon among them. Our mission is to rescue him."

Colton Jaymis |

"I think we have nothing but time until they decide which of us will be interrogated first. I think that if we are to work together, as you say, a certain level of trust must be established, no?"
He slowly stood up, movements languid and catlike. He was in no hurry, apparently.
"Adar Tallon, you say? Was the General brought to this block? Do they know who he is?"

Lt. Col. Antonius N Heshvaun |

Heshvaun you can follow if you like no one would stop you.
If I may add this bit of plot point and story arc as the prisoners are escorted to the Detention Block where they are currently in.
When he sees Evax leave, Heshvaun joins the the circle of troopers bringing the captured Rebels to the brig.
The Imperial Officer purposely makes eye contact with the man he can not believe to be Adar Tallon.
With his right hand on his officer's olive grey armour, he quickly signs, who was commanding the Republic forces at the Battle of Rendili? in distinct Galactic sign language, something Adar himself taught the younger officer long ago to pass the time and steel the nerves on long space voyages to the battlefront.
If this was the real Adar Tallon, he would know how to sign back without alerting their Imperial captors.

Kagore |

Languages: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
Kagore sighes and nods. "I believe they do...hence our being seperated from him. I believe they put him in this block but they may move him...we can not assume anything without reliable information."

The Force |

Gotal of Umbara |

Gotal grins at Rufus, "Well at least the Empire cannot imprison your sense of humor my friend".
After assessing the situation Gotal sits and begins to meditate, "Indeed you are correct Kagore, it seems we must trust in the Force as we have no way to get ourselves out of this mess."
He sits not exactly away from Colton but not near him either.

Lt. Col. Antonius N Heshvaun |

Rewind sequence as the prisoners are led to their cells.
Lt. Colonel Heshvaun instructs the Detention Block duty officer to keep Tallon in a separate cell. He keys the holding cell's access code number with his personal code cylinder, comitting the sequence to memory.
He notes which cells the others captives are taken to, as the detention guards lead the Rebels into the their secure cells.
As he heads back to the Command Bridge to report, he's mind is spinning, after all these years, Adar Tallon is alive!
Heshvaun has more questions than a youngling confronted with his first Cerean Puzzle.
- - -
Rewind it mostly over, Heshvaun will deliver a full report, then head to his private quarters, to think, to evaluate, and to plan.

The Force |

Lt. Col. Antonius N Heshvaun Quarters
You sit and brood over what you have learned within the last hour about Tallon being still alive. A former mentor working with the Rebels and also the other subordinate who defected. Suddenly an alarm goes off and red lights flash in your room.
"RED ALERT. REBEL SHIPS INCOMING!"
And then there are multiple loud explosion as if multiple torpedoes just took out most of the core infrastructure of the Relentless and the light go out!
########################################################
Detention Block 241
A deafening explosion rocks the giant ship, knocking you and your friends to the cell floor. More explosions follow, violently shaking the ship back and forth. Somewhere close by you hear the terrible sound of metal scraping metal, the tearing of plstisteel walls and the hissing of escaping atmosphere. The floor of the cell lurches wildly and a battle-alert klaxon rings out. Then the light cut off and you are plunged into total darkness!

Kagore |

Kagore staggers toward the wall in the darkness as the ship shook violently. Using his hands he felt around in the darkness seeking the door to their cell.
"Sounds like our cue to exit! Lets get this door open and get Tallon and get to Alabak's Gold!"
