Colton Jaymis
"Unfortunately, we can't afford to assume it's going to get any easier from here. We need to move quickly. This vessel is under attack. Please, come with us."
Colton handed Adar Tallon the blaster that he was carrying.
"My name is Colton. I think we can save further introductions for when we make it out of here."
Gotal of Umbara
Gotal OK. You know that doesn't instantly heal just gives 2 natural heal rolls instead of 1 after resting.
Yep but his concern is to help her more so than fight.
Gotal aids Tallon's wife in standing. He once again takes the lead in the dark.
Kagore
Kagore was primed to unleash another more accurate uppercut on the droid but the blasters put and end to it. He quickly goes to help carry Adar Tallon, going under his left arm.
"We need to get everyone to the ship or else all this will be for nothing. Rufus and Colton, lead the way and Gotal will cover the flanks. We need the fastest path without power to the docking bay."
Rufus Griller
Rufus starts to move down the corridor, the glow rod in one hand and the blaster in his other.
"We could try to make for the nearest escape pods, but that won't put us in a very good position if the Empire's reinforcements are already inbound. But, an escape pod might be able to get us back to Tatooine. The longer route would be to try to get back to the hangar bays and see if the Gold is functional, or, if not, one of the hyperspace-capable shuttles."
Lt. Col. Antonius N Heshvaun
In his quarters, despite himself, Heshvaun swore a string of Corellian curse words that would make a Hutt blush.
NO Imperial Star Destroyer had ever fallen in battle, they were considered the pinnacle of Naval warfare.
"Parlan, you have the distinction of being a the first Captain of the line to lose his command."
"Even if you survive this battle, I doubt you will survive the consequences of losing the Relentless. Or losing Adar Tallon."
TALON
Heshvaun, with a mask of arrant resolve on his face, begins extracting select items among his belongings, after nearly two decades of service, it was finally time.
Time to leave The Empire.

Detention Block 241
You make you way through the hallways of the detention block trying to find a way out helping Tallon and his wife when suddenly more blaster shots ring out. Gotal you an see two guards up ahead behind cover (50% +5 TN to hit) in the control room.
Roll init. Tallon and his wife are still kind of out of it and won't be assisting.
Guard1 Init: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3
Guard2 Init: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6
If you beat the guards init please act accordingly before them.
Gotal of Umbara
Initiative 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 2) = 12 - WILD 1d6 ⇒ 3 = 15
Once again Gotal uses the Force to wrench a blaster out of one of the stormtroopers' hands.
Telekinesis - Guard 1 - 5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 1, 2) = 10
I've never rolled 3 6's in a row but 3 1's seem to come up fairly often...
The Force
Gotal think you rolled 1 extra die to you only have 4d6 force so 8 is total.
Rufus shot just barely hits one of the guard as he yells out in pain dropping to the ground!
Gotal reaches out with the force but the force does not answer his calling this time!
Kagor and Colton still need to roll one guard left. Kagore I believe is holding up General Tallon.
The Force
The shot strike the man right in the chest part of his body that wasn't protected by cover and sends him flying backward!
You are now in the control room of the detention block. The guards only has Blaster Pistols on them (so 6 total so far if your collecting). Beyond the control room there are some closed doors down a short hallway.
Make search check TN 15 while in control room if you wish to try to find things.
Colton Jaymis
Colton quickly sets about reloading the items back into his utility belt. He then takes the lightsaber and carefully activates it, the dark blue-green blade springing to life in his hand. He immediately deactivates and hooks it to his belt before grabbing another blaster pistol. This time he takes a moment to gather a holster and slip it onto his belt before moving back to the others.
"I will take the lead now. Which bay did they bring your ship into?"
Rufus Griller
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Rufus squints his eyes against the sudden beam of light, having been accustomed to the darkness.
"Two Jedi, a clone and Adar Tallon. Did I enter a wormhole and go back in time about two decades?"
He thinks on his experiences as a pilot for the Imperial Navy. "We were brought in through the main hangar. The Gold is probably still in the bay or in one of the deep storage hangars. The detention blocks are usually towards the aft. Either way, we need to go forward."
Colton Jaymis
Colton hands Rufus one of the commlinks before moving off at a trot. He wanted to put distance between himself and the wounded, but not so much that he can't get back to them quickly. The idea was that he would draw enemy fire away from the wounded and clear the way to the bay, dealing with any impediments as quickly as possible.
Kagore
"Let us put our strength together and open this door."
I have 4D strength. If someone after me has equal or more then that add my dots you yours otherwise state your number of str dice that are asisting and I'll add that many pips to my check if it has the highest base dice.
The Force
Colton spends some time cutting a hole through the door (not as simple as just swipe swipe swipe thick doors here) and beyond the door your glow rod beams do not fall upon a lift car. Instead it reveals the gaping emptiness of a giant turboshaft. The darkness seems to stretch infinitely up and down, and you feel as though you are standing at the threshold of an unending pit. Looking carefully, you can see there are ladders on each side of the shaft that go both up an down. Without a lift car, the only way out is to climb... or fall!
Tallon peers in and says "I suggest we go down. Up would take us to the command section of the ship and more trouble than what we are looking for. Down should take us to engineering section which we can make our way to hangar from more easily."
Either up or down will require an Easy (10) climbing check not to slip using the ladders.
Kagore
As the lightsaber cuts come without warning, Kagore cursed and jumped aside. Had that close swipe been on purpose? It was clear from earlier the young force user had immediately jumped to blaming him for the death of someone close...
"Watch where your swinging that thing! You may be no friend to the empire but you've a ways to go still if you want to work with a team of rebels."
Kagore will move to go downward.
Climb: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 2) = 13
The Force
Remember Jedi can't fly and Luke got lucky catching onto that thing as he dropped. This is a very far drop and TN would be pretty high to not injure yourself on the way down. Safest bet is to climb instead of being a superman :)
Tallon Climb: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 3, 6) + 2 = 12
Tallon Wife Climb: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 1, 2) + 2 = 10
Tallon and his wife climb onto the ladder as well using the rope to help with their semi groggy state moving down. They do seem to be getting better though so major injuries.
The Force
You are already tired from the climb down when suddenly, above you, the shaft gets very bright and a thunderous crash rocks the ladder you are on. You hold on for dear life as you feel something fall past you. Believing it is one of your cohorts, you turn and see a long metal object falling and banging into the side of the turboshaft. A turbolift opening appears to have sustained major damage from an explosion somewhere near the command center above. You see the ladder smoking far above you.
After climbing down some more some lightly dimly illuminate the shaft which appear to be semi-operational parts of the star destroyer. Wind and a distinct wooshing sound can be heard further on and eventually you experience a floating sensation as you continue down.
The Force
Your group finally reach a set of doors and there appears to be some power here so just accessing the control panel the door swooshes open, revealing an empty, lighted corridor. it stretches to your right and left, and no dangers seem present. Somewhere in the shaft another explosion rings out, but that is all behind you as you let the doors slide shut.

Cut-away
INTERIOR: Relentless Bridge. Standing before the massive view ports of the command bridge, a high-ranking Imperial officer looks out upon the damage his ship ha sustained. his eyes slide slowly across the deep gashes and the twisted superstructure, his gaze resting momentarily upon a black scar that slices the forward hull. An explosion rips through the wounded ship from somewhere deep inside, throwing the bridge crew from side to side. Oblivious to the comforts of his men, the officer stands firm before the viewport, as though the ship was holding perfectly still.
"It doesn't look very promising, does it, Captain Parlan?" the ISB officer steps up to stand beside the captain.
"Promising?" replies Parlan. "We ar about to win a great victory against our enemies."
The ISB officer laughs, but there is no humor in his voice, and his face shows his disdain. "Victory? Captain, that pirate fleet caught you off-guard and devastated your vessel. I do not see running away as a victory."
A dangerous gleem sparkles in Parlan's piercing eyes. "Not running, tactically retreating. they have damaged us beyond repair, that is true. But I have a surprise being readied for those pirates. They will find the price of dealing with the Relentless more expensive than they can afford."
The ISB officers eyes wide in surprise.
Fade to...
INTERIOR: Relentless corridor and small group of rebels.

The Force
Tallon turns to the group.
"It appears we are in an access corridor just above the engineering section now. I believe that we can find a computer terminal in one of the work stations. It should be a simple matter to get into the compute and determine just what we are up against."
Tallon points in some directions and the group follows knowing that Tallon is probably very familiar with these type of ships. You make it to a blast door.
"Behind this blast door, we will find a staircase leading down into one of the small sublight propulsion units. From there, if the damage isn't too severe, we should be able to find a computer work station that we can borrow. But first we have to get this blast door open. Anyone good with Imperial security programs?"
Someone can attempt an easy comp/programing (10) or moderate security (15) skill check to crack it.
