That is a miss, I'm afraid. Even with the reveal weakness which I forgot to mention in the update.
Turning to look at the Ulfens, you find nothing but footprints. Down the way, you hear them shouting and screaming, something along the lines of they "never signed up for this!"
Elena's up! Unless she can unfascinate someone? Though you're probably more worried about the allip right here, eh?
Elena Rasputin
|
In the fascinated description it mentions; A fascinated creature's ally may shake it free of the spell as a standard action. If that works I'd like to use in on Ryster since I saw him prepare a "special" bullet to use against the creature..which will most likely be more effective then what I could do against it. It doesn't mention it provokes..so I'm assuming I can do it while standing next to the allip, and it's blind anyway.
"Hey! Shake it off! Come on people!" Says Elena as she shakes Ryster back and forth while slapping him open palmed across the face.
Before she takes a step away from the incorporeal creature.
Guilford Baldwin

I'm gonna roll again too since Roland used his standard action to smack me as well.
Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Guilford stirs for a moment when Roland hits him, then the stupified expression returns to his face.

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Just barely, hahaha.
Ryster's aim is almost as impeccable as can be, and he still deals a good wound on the ghostly presence.
Wounded, the allip casts a spell and seems to regain some of its essence.
2d8 + 4 ⇒ (6, 6) + 4 = 16
The mound of meat, meanwhile, has some lovely fleshies to swing his great big arms at.

And finally, the allip once again floats over to Elena and swings an incorporeal hand at her.

1d4 ⇒ 3 Wisdom damage
Party up! Because he was attacked, Guilford is no longer fascinated, but must make a DC 16 Will save vs the babble at the start of his turn or be fascinated again.
Ouroboreia

Ouroboreia takes a step back and emits an unbearable sound with a shrill voice - luckily, only the allip seems to be able to hear it.

It goes off, empowering its hand which reaches for Elena.

Ouroboreia shoots an arcane missile at the allip from her wand.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Elena Rasputin
|
Elena seeing she's the preferred target for this thing and can't effect it herself that much goes fully on the defensive to try to give the others time to deal with it, while stepping next to Mikaere
Full defense, switching judgement to protection; for a +4 dodge bonus to AC, combined with the +2 deflection bonus from protection vs evil and a +1 sacred bonus to AC that gives me a AC of 17 vs Evil touch attacks or 24 vs normal Evil AC attacks (and an extra +1 on saves for being next to a party member, for a +2 extra on all my saves - including the protection vs evil)

The magic missile strikes the allip. It seems to be acting slowly, as if it is concentrating on keeping its essence on this plane.
Elena scoots closer to Mikhaere.
The allip continues to babble on and on about this, that, and the other, while it swings its charged hand at Elena.
Touch w/ spell: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 + Surge: 1d6 ⇒ 2

The allip then tries one more time to swipe at Elena.
Touch w/ spell: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Will save: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 1 + 2 = 16
Elena is just barely able to will her leg to not bend in an unnatural angle. She takes another careful step to surround herself by more allies (5ft step to get a higher bonus on saves from my teamwork feat), then going full defense again and hope that the allip will miss again.
Ouroboreia

Ouroboreia takes a step back and casts glitterdust at the construct, hoping to blind him.
Glitterdust doesn't allow SR, so it should work on a golem. Will DC 18 to resist.

Ryster fires another bullet into the golem, blasting away bits of flesh from its odd macabre form.
Elena skirts around the allip the best that she can.

The golem clutches at its eyes against the glitterdust summoned by Ouroboreia.

Ouroboreia

Once she's assured that the grave robbers have fled for good, Ouroboreia will return to the water elemental and use the scroll to communicate with it, negotiating the items it guards. Then she will take some time to study the sarcophagus more closely, possibly using it to learn more about this place, the jeweled sages, and the restless spirit that inhabited the tomb. Finally the wizardess will activate the stone to report to Amenopheus their breakthrough.

Returning to the elemental, it specifically states that it is there to protect the items against those who would take it, or who would break into the library without proving their worth by solving the puzzles. It challenges you saying if you want the items, you'll have to take them from it.
Communicating with the inhabitant of the sarcophagus using the powers of the tomb, the speaker is discovered to be a scholar from Ancient Osirion. He is able to answer most questions about the Song Pharaoh and about repairing magical items, but has no knowledge of this place nor the spiritual inhabitants.
Reporting to Amenopheus your findings, the sending stone is silent for a moment before the former sage's voice resonates through it. I see. Very well. Hold there, Pathfinders. I shall join you shortly.
After about an hour, the former Sage arrives at the ruins. He listens to all that has transpired and of the methods found for repairing the stone as he walks with you back to the area in which you found the broken gem. Speaking of which, he there asks you for the stone, at which point he is surprised to feel the faint magic contained within. Going up to the table upon which it was found, the Sage holds his hand over the gem and chants.
At his words, one of the corpses around the table moves and seems to revert in form to a time when she was alive and well. She looks at Amenopheus and bows in gratitude. Turning to you, she speaks in a voice soft and low as though echoes down the corridors of centuries.
"My thanks to you, adventurers, for putting my colleague's spirit to rest. It was he who became possessed by some unknown force, killed myself and our friend before turning his blade against himself. Through all these years I have kept a limited degree of awareness from within the gem.
"For many years we sat undisturbed from outside forces until shortly before your arrival. A man came in and collected the other two gems. When the thief handled one of my shards, I was able to read his thoughts before he discarded the fragment and fled. The thief is a man named Kafar, who had intentions of delivering the jewels to the Diamond Sage in a region known as the Pillars of the Sun. It is there that we Jeweled Sages’ built our sanctum, but it strikes both me as odd that the Diamond Sage would collect the gems there instead of finding new candidates to become sages elsewhere in Osirion."
Amenopheus nods, voicing his own concern that the Diamond Sage’s actions are not typical for the order, and he is dismayed that the jewels may be in the hands of known enemies of the Pathfinder Society.
Sharing her fellow sage’s concern, the Ruby Sage turns to you. "If you would chase down this thief Kafar, reclaim the stolen jewels, and find the Diamond Sage to learn what she intends, I shall give you what power I can to aid you."
A wave of energy and power emanates from the gem, instilling you all with power. Immediately after, the Sage's corpse slumps and returns to its desiccated form.
Amenopheus turns to you. "This is a rare gift and a dire need. However, I know some of you may not be strong enough to see this to the end. Gather your resources and your strength quickly, agents, then find me to continue this quest. Before I leave, though, if any of you are suffering from afflictions of this place, I can take care of one of those for you."
Now it is with utmost impatience that Amenopheus urges you to complete your mission to find where the other gems have been taken. But that, of course, is another scenario entirely.
That concludes Destiny of the Sands Part II!
I will be getting Chronicle sheets to you tonight. Be prepared. There are THREE sheets for this scenario.

Thanks for running again GM! I had a good time with this too, even if I lost track a couple of times. My GM game just ended too, so I'm going to use that chronicle to get Gil to 5th level as well.
I'm playing in a game where Alice (Mikhaere) is GM. She just got through a crazy exam cycle and was dealing with some personal matters regarding her relationship. But she got back to our game, so I wouldn't b surprised to see her turn back up here once things are less stressful for her IRL
