Inira McCullagh |
"Agreed!" Inira replies to Fingalad. "I am ready."
She grabs the key, and checks to see if it belongs to the manacles on the prisoner, if there is enough left after the acid to try.
She will also replenish her arrows with the 15 found, and offer some to Fingalad (and the others) as well.
"Is this your stuff? Would you like us to help you with your armor to help ensure your safety?"
Shifty |
The captured key reveals itself as being for the manacles.
The Bard is happy to be freed and provide support, he would prefer to blaze a path out of here, but will stand stoic with the Pathfinders.
You ascend to the top of the tower...
The four wings of the tower are completely open on this level, forming one great,
cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the doorways at the end of each wing, meeting in the center, where a spiral staircase drops out of sight below. A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest.
Standing at the eastern archway, a single reptile man stares out into the distance, a stunted albino crocodile by his side...

You should see one of the player in the other group, if he gets above a 5 by the end of the adventure we will all be shocked - the irony is he's a great build, but dem rolls - its now a running joke
Fingalad's arrow shoots over the chair, streaking out the door beyond and deep into the ruins beyond.

After recovering from the battle and clearing through and investigating the tower more thoroughly, you return the liberated Pathfinder safely home.

Kishara |
At first glance, the woman looked fairly average and unremarkable, if a bit overloaded for her slight build. She wore a simple linen shirt under her pocketed leather vest and breeches, but as she shifted the load of the heavy pack on her back, her collar flops open and you notice the glint of a high-quality chain shirt hidden underneath.
She kept her long blue-black locks plaited into a simple braid and carried a variety of weapons stowed about her person. Mismatched shortswords on opposing hips, a dagger clearly strapped to the outside of each thigh, a sap dangling from her belt and a shortbow on her back.
Upon a closer look, you notice the angular, finely-boned features of half-elven heritage, though the points of her ears are strangely missing and her nose has a look that suggests it's been broken before... frequently. She meets your eyes only briefly and gives you a quick wink and a nod before her striking violet eyes resume examining the environment.
Kish reporting in, your friendly neighborhood trap monkey. *flourishy bow*
