We are aiming for that dead tree branch I keep hitting, right?

The spider shoots a web 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 that covers Fingalad beautifully, trapping the archer liky a big fly.
People marvel at the effect, but are distracted when Hask simply firebombs the room, solving the bug issue.
/end combat.
A small cocoon hangs in the webs, holding the remains of an unfortunate dog. The desiccated carcass is still wearing its leather collar, which is studded with lapis lazuli stones and has a silver tag reading “Kita.” You estimate collar is worth 50 gp.
Investigating the tower’s west wing you find it mostly choked with rubble, but a door
in the eastern wall is still accessible. The door leads to a stone spiral staircase that runs through the center of the tower. Unfortunately, the stairway is also blocked with
fallen rubble. It seems that if you wish to explore the tower’s upper levels, you will have to go back outside and attempt to climb the tower’s exterior walls.

Hask nods grimly at the carcass of the spider and then looks up the wall the group must scale.
We were more mighty than our foe. Good. Perhaps that will hold true for the rest of this mission.
He cocks his head to the side, and then speaks again.
I may be a half orc from a northern primal tribe, but I am terrible at climbing. Does anyone have a way to secure a rope? I have fifty feet in my pack, if someone else has enough, we could knot it and make it easier for those of us more inclined to mental prowess than physical...

Fingalad looks up at the tower. "I can probably climb up there. But before I try, does anyone have a grappling hook or grappling arrow?"

"So how about that rope?"

Fingalad lowers the rope and helps the others get up.
"We haven't found any sign of our friend yet. Their may be more hostile creatures inside." He draws his bow and nocks an arrow.

Judging from the shelves lining the walls, this darkened room might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has collected in a large puddle on the floor.
A large lizard is playing in one of the pools, it looks up at you curiously as the door opens.
Inira McCullagh

How large? Large enough to eat me?
"Hello, lizard. How are you today?"
As long as the lizard doesn't attack, Inira looks around carefully.

Fingalad frowns at Inira's comment.
"It might not be hostile. Maybe we can ignore it. Or just try the other door."
All the same, he draw his bow and nocks another arrow.

Racks for weapons line the walls of this chamber; above the racks hang various shields, pieces of armor, weapons, and standards on display. Most of the racks are empty, but a few weapons remain in place. A horrible stench fills the room as well, akin to the smell of rotten eggs mixed with the reek of an open sewer.
Two reptile men seem less than happy to see you.

Hask takes a step to the side, so he can see into the room. His nose wrinkles at the smell, but he doesn't say anything, he just lifts his crossbow and fires at the southernmost creature.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5
Then he drops the crossbow, and lifts his hands, ready to start throwing some fire around.
