I get to the airport at 4:30 Wednesday for my 6:30 flight.
United tries to get by cheap and puts just enough gas in the jet to make it to destination. They screw up, have to turn around once they make it to the strip, and then take 2.5 hours to fuel up again and take off.
The plane lands at 8:30 (this is the plane coming to where I am). They swear they will have us out of there in 10 minutes.
At 9:15 we take off. We land at 10:45. My connecting flight is at 10:55, and is in another terminal. I run to the train that connects terminals. I get to the gate at 10:58. They didn't hold my plane, it's against policy.
It takes me 45 minutes of arguing with them but they won't give me a hotel, because it was the weather, not them putting too little fuel or refusing ot hold my flight for 3 minutes. BS.
I get to the hotel about 1:30 (actually in the hotel room that is). I'm so afraid I'll sleep through the alarm at this point, that I can't sleep. So I spend 4 hours resting on the bed watching tv before going back to the airport for a 7:25 flight.
The 7:25 flight leaves the gate at 7:45. We take off at 8:30. I get to my airport at 9:20. It then takes me another hour to get my luggage (they got it on the plane that took off without me the night before!), and finally get my car and head off home. I run into traffic, and it's 11:30 by the time I actually get into my house.
I then promptly fall asleep in front of the computer trying to work after having had no sleep for 36 hours.
So yeah, sorry for not posting yesterday. I'll get posts up today sometime.

Gee that sounds horrible.

I suspect that the regional jet companies are not doing so, and may not be required to, due to their not leaving US airspace ever. This only happens to me with regional jet lines (ExpressJet for United, to be specific). Little small planes that seat 50 people and never leave US airspace. So not under international law.

I don't really like dump stats unless I actually want to RP them (that can be cool someties). Marcus is just an ordinary guy by comparison to most pathfinder characters - and that's just fine by me. He'll still kick ass by the time he gets to convert LoH uses into smites.
As far as being a leader, well he'll do that in a pinch but he's not going to tell people what to do. Instead he believes in leading by example and any help on the way is gratefully welcomed.

Anyone but Tik'Klik. :) Marcus is fine. :)

Marcus of Torm |

In theory yes. We'll have to see how big it is (the girls will want some privacy!) and what kind of state it's in.

Tik'Klik |

Tik'Klik couldn't care less. :) He'd be fine living in an alley. So wherever Raven goes he'll tag along for now. One of these days Raven may turn that piece of paper over and read the other side with read magic. :)

Poor Heichi has got to sleep in a barn full of smelly barbarians. Either that or get frostbitten outside. I think he'll go insane.

A few years ago I spent Christmas in Kiruna in northern Sweden, it was -25degC during the 'day'. Among other things I went on several dog sleigh rides. Great fun, they go pretty fast and the dogs love it. Not sure if Marcus would be aware of that sort of thing but it would be pretty handy about now.

Does anyone else feel superstitious about the first dice roll of a PC? I mean in and out of combat, I find some of my PCs are just luckier than others. Is it just me? I mean a 1! On survival as well, how embarassing.
Cheers
P.S. Never seen much snow here in the English Channel. Or on holiday.

Posting this in all my games, both run and played in.
As you all know, I've been rather busy and traveling a lot lately. This is going to continue for awhile. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up the posts. It's now confirmed I'll be going on an overseas job for 6 weeks at the end of August, coming back early October. I will hopefully be able to continue posting, but wanted to give advance warning.
I'll be 11 or 12 hours off my normal schedule, as I'm going literally to the other side of the planet. :) First trip to this area, so I'm not sure what the internet will be like, or even if I can get to Paizo. So if, after I leave, I vanish for a month, please don't give up on me, it just means I couldn't connect due to country filters or something.

Jandar Bersk |

Just wanted to say that I have introduced my character earlier, but I dont want to spam the PCs, so I was thinking that Jandar will be quietly staying at the inn for a few days.
He is there if the party happens to need any more muscle or a wilderness specialist as a mercenary.
I will be checking the tread from time to time..

Next time we're back in town I'll say hello.

Marcus of Torm |

My now wife once did that to me, I made the mistake of taking her to see Momma Mia and next thing I know she'd booked us a holiday on Skopolos... Have a good time :)

I'm off on holiday from tomorrow till the 25th. I'm expecting to have wifi access, but my posting is likely to be slower than normal.

Hi,
I apologize for having disappeared from the boards for the last month without notice. About a month ago, I got run over by a car while cycling back home from work. The result was not pretty and I was very lucky to have worn a helmet. I’m just out of hospital after surgery and recovery but if things go well, I will come out of it without any long term issues.
As I do not have a 3G phone, I was unable to warn you of my absence until I got discharged from the hospital. I hope I have not disrupted too much the game and I am ready to resume playing whenever it is fit.

Wow, Martin, I am so sorry for you, man. The game hasn't progressed at all while you were bed-ridden, since I was on a vacation, so you are welcome to step right back in.
Are you alright now? What about your family? As I recall, you have young children...
Every one is fine, my parent's and my wife's were of a great help. I am now good enough to walk in the house unaided and should be able to resume work in a few weeks.
