Derika looks shocked as the Gobbers just seem to drop. Looking at Orym she gives him a kinda crooked smile while nodding, "Yeah...very nicely done." Is this what magic is really like? Up to this point she hadn't much experience with it herself....save her own weird freakishness. Thinking about it brings a slight frown to her face for a moment before she seems to shake it off.


Tanna and Missea ready their ranged weapons, in case the remaining goblin proves lucky. The goblin steps toward Jerrica and swings with its short sword.

Derika smiles a bit and says, "Sure thing." as she steps into a flanking position with Jerrica and takes a couple of swipes at the goblin herself. Derika almost seems to feint with one claw, while striking with the other.

Moving to Q5 and taking full attack. Crosses fingers

A low crumbling wall surrounds what looks to be a well. Two buckets - attached to ropes - lie nearby. The room appears to be deserted and a passage way leads to your left.

Telsyn will send Dancing Lights down the well.


Telsyn sees the well descends about 20 feet before coming to a stream which flows southeast.

Derika looks down the well also, "Well...I don't think we need to go down there. So, should we continue on this way, or go back and see where that other passageway to the left led to first? It's all the same to me." She kind of gives a shrug as if to say either is fine.

You head down the hallway connected to this room and come to another chamber. Two piles of furs lie against one wall; camping gear is strewn nearby. You see two hyena-headed humanoids here and they raise their morningstars as you approach.

Taking a step to her left, she wipes her mouth as she spits up some blood. Her eyes seem to gloss over slightly as her mouth twists into a snarl, "It stings a bit...." Glaring at the gnoll she snarls, "You....bastard!" Filled with rage she slashes at him with both claws.

Aside from the gnoll's camping gear, which consists of two piles of furs and some odds and ends, you find 6 gold and 12 silver coins, 2 heavy wooden shields, 2 suits of (now bloodstained) leather armor, 2 morningstars and 2 javelins.

"Derika, you're not looking too good, do you still want to keep going?" Jerrica asks.

She pants a little bit, her now bloody and torn uniform showing signs of her bleeding through.

Looking to the others she says, "What do...the rest of you think? There are furs and things here...there's only one exit here, so it would be a pretty good spot to take a rest. I'm not really sure how all of your magics work...but, I'm guessing you would need rest of some kind as well to recover your spells and such." She kind of wobbles a bit and slumps against a wall, blood dripping from her wounds down to the ground.
