From the rooftops Dyrant deals with the shaggy demodand temporarily by blocking his line of sight to the rest of the party. It has a fly check of +35, so it's still flying even in hurricane conditions.
Inside the stinking cloud Finneas scores one critical hit, but unfortunately not a second as the first roll doesn't hit and isn't a natural 20.

Also inside the stinking cloud Cog is unable to connect with the demodand. Glimmil has no trouble though and lands three quick hits. However, the demodand still stands. I'm going to leave Glimmil and Cog in the flank with Toffitt. I'm sure there's some combination of 5' steps that would accomplish this.
Toffitt tries to finish off the slimy demodand, but is unable to do it when his first swing goes wide. Triple checked my math, but you're at 240 of 241 damage needed.
Atol escapes the stinking cloud and tries to dispel it, but fails.
Though immune to the poison of the cloud the demodands have nothing to overcome the concealment it provides to the party. Only one of the deomands swings hits Glimmil this time. It then steps out of the flank. Likewise, Finneas's cloak saves him again and he is only hit once.
The shaggy demodand flies out of the sleet storm and drops an empowered cloudkill on top of Dyrant.

I know it's hard to miss when Glimmil has a 25, but he actually rolled a 1 and so is nauseated this round.
Dyrant continues to lob spells back and forth with the shaggy demodand. He overcomes the spell resistance, but does minimal damage after the reflex save and fire resistance.

As the party enters the Temple of Lordly Might, it has been less than half an hour since the apocalypse began in Cauldron. They find the temple surprisingly empty of demodands. A few dozen citizens are scattered about the temple, most of them huddled into whatever alcove or room that is available. An older woman you recognize as a local produce seller points towards a large section of collapsed roof at the rear of the temple.
"The large one, the large one said they would come back for us later. Where do we go? Where will we be safe?"

Glimmil inches to a window and looks outside and across the city towards where he knows Ghelve's would be and the new grand entrance that was built to the gnomish enclave.

The party continues across the city and encounters fewer and fewer citizens, well at least ones that are alive. The streets of the southeast section of town are almost abandoned. The fine mansions of the lords of Cauldron share equally in its fate. In the distance, against the edge of the outer wall, the remnants of the tower of the Church of Wee Jas can still be seen even if it is only about two thirds its original size.
Finally reaching the final quarter of the city, the party is relieved to see no obvious bodies on the grounds of Finneas's former orphanage. It's at this time that the party notices a vulture has dared to begin circling on the thermals over the city. Surely there will be much for it to find today. However, it only takes a few seconds, and the perspective a demodand falling past it, to realize it is not a vulture, but a rather large (huge) red dragon. It soars approximately 100' above the city (and a 200'-300' from the party) and appears to be looking for something.

Cast Sky Steed on Cog and activate Glimmil's last Smite Evil as a swift if he can get line of sight. He'd then fly up to a roof with the remaining move action and begin trying to line up his first flying charge.

Glimmil prepares to meet the dragon in air while atop Cog and moves up to a rooftop.
Perhaps it catches the glint of Glimmil's armor or possibly it's just that the party is the last of the non-demons moving about the city, but it turns and starts directly toward them.

Glimmil drops his lance from somewhere in the sky, calling out to his faithful friend.

As a reminder, if the Litany of Righteousness beats the SR, any creatures with a good aura that hit it this round will do double damage.
If the dragon is AC37 or less, I believe this is the damage calculation since it's kind of mind numbing.

That's with litany just doing a straight doubling. I believe it would be considered a crit and may be additive, but because it's not rolled, you'd take the 31+31+64+64=190 damage (if it were a 6X effect) and figure it out as a 5X effect, which is 158 damage. Or 32 less, bringing the total down to 266.
