Bahari |

Last round I moved from the start point to the northern tip of the tar pit. I assumed that the holes in the walls you mentioned before and the fact that you didn't mention there was a problem with me going north last round - meant there weren't any impediments to traveling that way around. Reference
From there, with a 40' move (and again assuming the walls weren't a problem), I moved Bahari down to the monkey guy across the bridge. If none of that was possible, then feel free to ignore my attack and put me somewhere appropriate.

The walls in here are relatively solid (it's a sort of intact structure compared to the outside walls which were ruins). I put you behind Rubani.
Don't see anything from Ausk. Hope we didn't lose someone that fast (though admittedly this has gone slow).
The last one goes into a frenzy, screeching like a maniac and throws two coconuts at Rubani.

to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 15 damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 hit
If anyone thinks it unlikely that one can throw multiple coconuts in a round, they are supposed to be stones, but coconuts are funnier and damage has not changed
PCs are up.

I move up a bit (double move).
"Dang it, it looks like they fell in the goo stuff. And I was already told, not to play with the goo. We'll just have to look for more after we clear up this place so I can learn how to make the famed coconutini. I also heard tell of a cooking sauce from a far off land to the East called Coconut Milk Curry. Not I'm not sure what that is mind you, but I wonder if I can still try to make it." Looks at one of the coconuts. "Though I'm not really sure what was meant by coconut milk. How do you milk a coconut? I'm sure I can figure it out. If I make some tonight for dinner, you all will have some right? That will make for a nice celebration dinner to celebrate our new friends showing up to help."

Assuming I can see the monkey-man from my current position.
The Mwangi is confused by both the conversation and the persistence of the coconut grenadier. He pulls the bow from his shoulder and tries to shoot the monkey creature or, at the very least, force it to duck.

So who all do we actually have still around that I need to life link?
"Hold still for a second while I do a couple incantations to adjust my healing powers to look out for you."
Using life link on: Lalali, Rubani, Bahari, Lucian, and Ausk.
"Now try to stay within 160' of me and the spell will hold. If you go to far, I'll have to redo it. Also if you see any good looking coconuts just laying around, kind of smooth and round like Rubani's head, try to pick them up and save them for later at camp. There are a couple things I need to try with them. Going to try to figure out the coconutini drink and the cocotini bikini top. *hehehe*"

Bahari |

The Mwangi shoulders his bow and raises a hand in greeting while glancing around at the nowhere that appears to be a somewhere to him. Perhaps it is a language thing.
"Hello! I am Bahari of the Ijo Bonuwat. We are here to help your journeying."

Bahari |

Bahari does a double-take at the suddenly silent half-orc, then nudges him with an elbow. Perhaps the Elf has enchanted him.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
"Have you... we... finished searching here? What is left to do?"
Pick a location, original teammates, and let's press on!

Bahari |

Works for me. It looks like we'll likely have to come back to these stone pedestals to get at V5 anyhow, so yeah let's hit V4 first.
Bahari moves off quietly in the direction Rubani indicated. While the fight would no doubt have alerted other enemies, there was no sense in letting them hear the team's imminent approach.
I moved Bahari on the combat map.
Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20

V4:This roofless area has been cleared of rubble and its dirt floors are swept clean. Strange and unnerving images of shedding serpents and burning bodies are smeared upon the soot- stained walls. In the center of the room, three figures, sealed into hardened tar-cocoons, hang above a wide pit of glowing coals. Three clay buckets filled with tar sit to one side of the fire-pit, next to a burning torch set into the ground. The greasy stench of burnt flesh seems to cling to the very air.
I need to know how far Lucian is behind Bahari. So far only Bahari sees this.

I move up behind Lucian keeping an eye out for any good looking coconuts.

Ok, put yourselves where you want on the map.

As Bahari was successfully sneaky, he can get in a surprise round while the others move up (which is their surprise round action) (and how far behind Lucian was behind Bahari was never answered, so I'll say a good bit back otherwise there wouldn't be any sneaky going ons).
