Assuming we are out of the surprise round and everyone else has gone.

Combat over.
You are able to get your camp set up and sleep through the night without further interruption.
You continue your trek. A couple of days later you come across a section of the river where it widens, and there's a bunch of hippos frolicking.
However there's also a group of lizardmen hunter present who see you and prod a couple of bull hippos so they rush out of the water to attack you.

I pop back in the order.
Life Link Lalali: -5 hp
There is no combat map so I'll just assume I'm near enough to Lalali since we are always in the back of the group where it is supposed to be safe.
I move next to Lalali and cast a cure spell.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Malok, the East Wind |

How far away are the lizardmen? Is there any obstacles in between the party and them?

Malok, the East Wind |

Malok will summon his snakes to the party again.
Snakes: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Putting two each on the lizardmen, flanking.
He then steps back 15' directing his dino to guard him.

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Ivar smirks, "Nice job on the Lizardmen, do you think the Hippo's will charge?" Looking toward the others, he shifts his stance slightly lifting the sword over his head, waiting to see if the hippos continue their aggression.

Malok, the East Wind |

"There is no reason to kill the beasts.. Let's go."
Malok will leave his summons behind directing them to not harm the Hippos but delay any chase they might give.

drbuzzard |

With the blocking serpents, escape is easy.
Nothing further occurs this day.
Further along your route you find:
The trees grow broader and taller here, their gnarled branches rising to a tangled canopy that blots out the sun. Digging into their roots, giant, parasitic corpse-flowers blossom across the forest floor. Littering the banks of the river are several humanoid corpses, their armor and bodies ripped apart as if by large claws. Suddenly, a series of loud slams and crashing noises echo through the jungle, sending small monkeys in the treetops screaming in all directions.

resetting everything with a full rest from previous day
"I wonder how these things died"
Heal: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
"It looks like natural causes, nothing to worry about here. Hey does anyone else hear some monkeys. I wonder if we can train one to follow along with us and maybe carry some water or something. I bet that would be fun to stick around here and train one. This looks like a good camp site."

Malok, the East Wind |

Malok casts Speak with Animals..
"Whatever this is, let me try and talk to it before you murder hobo.."
Looking at the number of dead corpes though.
"Perhaps we should try hiding first, then speaking if found, then murder hobo /run if necessary.."

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Looking from giant, parasitic corpse-flowers blossom and the bodies ripped apart as if by large claws, to the small monkeys fleeing. He raises an eyebrow as Hindi comments about setting up camp. Then nodding his head in agreement with Malok when he speaks about hiding. Gesturing toward the corpse-flowers then the river he asks, "Any preference where we hide?" As he watches the forest to see what is coming toward them.

"Oh Ivar, are you go to talk to that big one? I bet he could carry a lot for us if you train him. All those other ones sound just as excited to see the training happening. How do you train him with a sword? I went to this circus one time and they were using whips to make the animals do what they want. I can't wait to see how you train him with the sword. This is so exciting. I wonder why the people lying on the ground aren't getting up to watch this, maybe they are just sleepy. They look perfectly fine to me."
