Round 1 standard action:
Cure (self) + 2 per die (Fey Foundling) + 1/2 CL (Vivacious)
Cure Light Wounds (self): 1d8 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 10
Round 1 move action:
Quick Channel
Channel Positive: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 5) = 9 Excluding up to 4 bad guys within range
I heal 25 wiping out the 21 damage. Peck heals 9 of the damage he received.

Malok, the East Wind |

Malok sends the Dino at #4..
Malok himself casts Sleetstorm on #1 and 2. No save all sight blocked and a creature can walk within or through the area of sleet at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can't move in that round, while failure by 5 or more means it falls. Lasts 5 rounds.
I put a rough circle on the map. Seems about 40' radius.
He moves up a bit after.
Attack #4: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Dam: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Lalali-Re |

Just bot him for another week, maybe he has been hit by a truck or something. Who's turn is it? Guess it's safe to say Lalali acted on initiative 7 before the baddies according to initiative upthread. Then i guess i could post something again.
Lalali casually walks over to the two now sparkling guys who frantically rub their eyes, turning to Ivar on the way. I'll handle this here, go help the rest. Should i need you, i'll call!
Shortly in front of them she stops, pointing both hands and speaking fierce fiery words as a jet of flame engulfs them.
Burning Hands DC 17: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 3, 3) + 5 = 17

drbuzzard |

Actually the baddies are up before you.
The two blind ones wipe at their eyes as they back away
1,2 try to close through the sleet storm
acrobatics: 2d20 ⇒ (3, 15) = 18 pass, pass
Last two attack Dino
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 16 damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 hit
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 9 damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 miss
PCs ar now up..
Don't know if I mentioned, but they are 10' squares.

Lalali-Re |

Actually the glitterdusted ones get a new save at the end of their round. Spell lasts for 5 rounds. Being blinded, they also suffer some stuff, like maybe having problems with direction, mali to reflex saves, etc., needing to make a dc 10 acrobatics check if they want to move more than half their speed. And no, you didn't mention the 10 foot squares. That kinda invalidates my turn.

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
I assumed they were 10 ft squares, that's why I didn't charge, couldn't get to them with a double move. Sorry Lalali, I should have paid better attention that those two were probably blinded. They were just nearest.
As the two attackers run away, Ivar moves back toward the party, smiling as he sees the sleet storm. "Nice magic you two." He moves forward a little, waiting to see if anyone continues to approach.
double move to get out front of the party

Malok, the East Wind |

Malok moves to give himself some space and begins a summoning spell.
Dino attacks #4..
Bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Claw: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Claw: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Dam: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Dam: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Dam: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

![]() |

Malok, Shred heals five from the life link. I moved the life link from Bart to Shred when he left the party.
Round 2: I Delay until needed.
I would have assumed the current combat map was 5' squares because the houses show some interiors and single beds are rarely 10'x20' and arm chairs are not usually 10' behind a 10'x20' desk unless we are in a giants realm which is entirely possible.

drbuzzard |

Dino hits twice.
1,2 move out of the storm
acrobatics: 2d20 ⇒ (11, 17) = 28 pass
and then shoot at Ivar
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 14 damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 hit
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 18 damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 hit
3,4 attack Dino.
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 11 damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 miss
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 11 damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 miss
will saves: 2d20 ⇒ (18, 18) = 36 the blind ones got their sight back and use it to run away.
PCs are up.

Malok, the East Wind |

Malok's spell finishes and 1d4+2 advanced, augmented, giant viper's appear to have fun, using 3rd level spell.. Which should have happened last round since it's a standard action to summon reptiles, but thats ok.
Snakes: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 After the enhancements they are large btw.
Snake 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 vs #2
Dam: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Plus DC 19 fort or Con: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Snake 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 vs #1
Dam: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Plus DC 19 fort or Con: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Snake 3: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22 vs #3 flanking
Dam: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Plus DC 19 fort or Con: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Snake 4: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 2 = 9 vs #4 flanking
Dam: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Plus DC 19 fort or Con: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Snake 5: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13 vs #4 flanking
Dam: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Plus DC 19 fort or Con: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Their AC is 18 for reference with 30 hp.
Because I figured there would be questions. Saurian Shamans can put templates on snakes/dinos they summon by increasing or decreasing the level of summons. For +2 level you can add Advanced and Giant templates. Superior Summons gives +1 critter when you summon more than one. 3rd level summons gives 1d4+1 viper's, hence 1d4+2.
Malok himself hits Ivar with a healing wand.
Heals: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Dino attacks #4 again.
Bite: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 2 = 14
Claw: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 2 = 19
Claw: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 2 = 26
Dam: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Dam: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Dam: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Ivar delay's until Lalali's spell takes effect, then moves and attacks
"Blast" Unable to dodge the arrows shot at such close range, Ivar let's out a curse. Almost as quickly, he feels some of the wounds being healed. turning, he nods towards Malok. As Lalali's spell takes hold, he moves forward, "You boys really should have ran." He then swings the enlarged greatsword in a sweeping arch an the nearest archer. '1'

Ivar don't forget the life link on your turn.
Life Link Ivar: -5 hp
I should also note that the other life link was Shred from round 2
Life Link Shred: -5 hp
Based on this Ivar should be at Ivar HP: 60 - 13 + 2 - 12 + 2 + 5 + 6 = 50
Round 3: move up to Ivar and cast Cure Light Wounds
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

"Blast, that'll chip." Missing the archer and driving his blade into the buildings corner, he jerks his sword loose and swing at the attacker near him. Burring his greatsword blade into the wall again.

I planned to give the glory to the meatballs, but alas...
Lalali sighs as Ivar misses and sends out a barrage of hurtfull glowing balls of force.

Malok delays..

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
"Blast!" Releasing the rage, Ivar shrugs, looking to the others, "Usually being bigger helps me hit stuff. At least they ran off." He then begins to search the bodies of the dead archers.
Once he's finished he asks, "Ok what now? Do we want to try and find out who's after us? Or just reequip, sleep in a soft bed and head back to the trail in the morning?"

Malok, the East Wind |

"It seems the Aspis are trying to stop us.. Should we try to locate them and eliminate the threat? If we leave them be might be facing the same threat in the future."

Malok, the East Wind |

"Well let's head over to the Shrunken Head then and look for our contact.."

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Collecting the gear from the two members of the Aspis Consortium, Ivar tosses one of the coins to Malok, "Maybe our contact has more information about these bastards. Anyway, at least we get to head to a tavern. I'm parched." Resting his greatsword on his shoulder, Ivar begins looking for the 'Shrunken Head Tavern,' occasionally stopping people and asking them about it's location.

drbuzzard |

The Shrunken Head tavern lies on a stretch of riverside boardwalk wedged between an exotic hardwoods warehouse and a small copper foundry. A former warehouse, the tavern’s ground f loor sits upon old stone ruins, while the remainder of the structure has a wood frame and plank walls.
Inside, customers crowd the dimly lit hall. A haze of smoke from guttering tallow candles fills the room, and on every table, dark-skinned dancing girls dressed in brightly colored veils work the house, occasionally dipping into the pockets of leering patrons. Once sacred spirit dancers, they’ve been reduced to little more than exotic curiosities who make their money entertaining drunken foreigners by performing bastardized versions of their ritual dances on bar tables.
The PCs’ contact, a brawny dwarf named Cheiton, recognizable by the tattoo on his shoulder, waits for them at a large table near the bar. Once a miner in the Bandu Hills, Cheiton now makes his living organizing expeditions into the Mwangi interior for other foolhardy people, and has been contracted by the Pathfinder Society to facilitate the second stage of the journey. He greets the PCs jovially, and orders them a round of drinks before asking for details of their journey to Kalabuto.

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Ivar accepts the offered drink and sits down with the dwarven expediator. Sipping the Ale, after a bit of silence he answers, "Fair trip so far. We passed through a mine, finding the rightful owner here." Nodding at the red-headed savage petting her dinosaur. "We got jumped by a couple of 'Consortium' boys, here in town." He thinks for a moment, "Oddest thing, just before we hit town there was a tree with a bunch of bodies hung by their necks. What did those people do to get executed?" He gives a wicked grin, "I'd like to make sure I don't make the same mistake."

![]() |

Realizing that Ivar has a much better memory for details than I do (I just about forgot the tree), I sit quietly sipping my drink and listen to the conversation.

Malok, the East Wind |

"Don't forget the mutated dire moles we ran into.. Mostly interested in these Aspis folks though."

drbuzzard |

"Ah, Aspis. Hmm. Mostly likely just local thugs they hired on. They don't have much loyalty, so if they got stung, they won't be back for another round. Reckon you'll have trouble with more Aspis in the future though. Them snakes never let be when there's a treasure trove to be looted. "
"As for that tree you saw, don't much know about that. Sounds creepy. "

Malok, the East Wind |

I thought the guy would have some kinda info. Why were we meeting him? Just to report?
