@Ratpigeon; more appropriate would be to use the stats for the Hadseax with the range of, say, a Dart. I'd be fine with that as a weapon.

Rayna runs a wolf preserve that she inherited from her father located in Rural Pennsylvania. Growing up, she never knew her mom, but she knew the story of how her parents met: Her mother got left by her "friends" after they convinced her to jump the fence at his father's wolf preserve. When some wolves arrived, her friends left her to die, but her father saved her by standing between the young woman and the wolves and using his rifle to scare them off. She stayed with her father for a while, then left to make her way to New York to be a model, but not before leaving her father with a daughter, Rayna.
Not really prepared to be a father, Rayna's father raised her like his father had raised him: to live off the land, hunt and shoot, and how to care for wolves. When she was little, she went missing in the preserve, but was found days later in one of the wolf dens, where the animals were caring for her. When her father approached, the wolves exited the den, snarling, but they parted and Rayna walked past them before turning and bowing to the Alpha male and thanking him for his hospitality. "It was the darnedest thing" her father would say every time he told the story "She came walking out like she was the alpha, and all the wolves seemed to understand her when she spoke."
Rayna eventually graduated high school and went to college, studying veterinary medicine, with a plan to return to the preserve and work there. Her father died, however, during her junior year, which prompted her to return home to run the preserve. That was two years ago, and she still had never met her mother, although one night she dreamt of two women, older yet beautiful, striking a bargain. "'You may take my son, since you adore him so, but I get one of yours in his place.' 'Agreed. You may take her.'" That same night Rayna became seriously ill, contracting a fever that lasted several days before it finally broke, and afterwards even her older friends among the people that worked at the preserve noted a difference in her demeanor, although none of them could really place it, other than a feeling of 'intensity.' That was several weeks ago, and Rayna made a marked recovery.
Appearance: Rayna is a tall, lithe, attractive young woman in her early 20's who is much tougher than she appears to be. She stands just shy of 6 feet tall, and weighs 140 lbs, with shock red hair that hangs just below her shoulders and rich green eyes with hints of gold in them.
In college, she was well known for her ability to drink anyone under the table, and between her charm, pretty face and relatable personality, she has always had at least one or two young men trying to win her hand, but for her part she is not at all interested in settling down.
Personality: Rayna is a practical young woman who is passionate about protecting and preserving all animals, but she has a special affinity with wolves.

@Jesse- I've started recruiting a bit early and in waves. I had my eye on these people early. Still two spots open and I'm leaning towards a second game as well. Just wanted to start getting prologues out of the way so I didn't want to have to write six at once!
