Ogre ACs: 15, T7, F15
Round 3
Regin snarls and steels his resolve. He brings his mace up as hard as he can after the duck! It just barely connects, but it's enough. The zombie staggers, stitching bursting and strange fluids flowing out. But still it stands. Barely.
"Have to do everything myself," Gunidu snarled, stalking forward and taking pains to stay clear of Regin's reach as he closed the distance. He double moved, avoiding AoOs. His hand still flickered with the Art that felled Trib. "Hold him still!" the necromancer barked at the zombie. It flung its arms wide and Regin used the opportunity to thrust his blade through its chest. More stitches burst and the zombie came apart even as it tried to seize him.
Though showered in gore, Regin was now standing alone with the necromancer.
"Parley!" the man shouted.
Ogre grapples: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Regin AoO: 1d20 + 4 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 3 + 2 = 16
Regin Damage: 1d8 + 5 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 4 + 2 = 18
Arundel is paralyzed for 4/6 rounds. During that time he radiates a stink that any living thing except Gunidu needs to save against. It's on the map.
Trib at -1 and dying, has 1 str damage
Amar at -2 and dying.
Order is Trib (dying), Gunidu, Ogre, Arundel (paralyzed), Amar (dying), Regin. Regin is up!

con: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 -2

Regin Ald |

Regin relieves the necromancer of his unholy symbol, any spell components, and any weapons he may have. He then keeps his at weapon's length as he moves around to give Ishtar's blessing to his fallen comrades.
LoH, Amar: 1d6 ⇒ 2
LoH, Trib: 1d6 ⇒ 3
LoH, Amar again: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Tribim |

Shaking his head as he wakes, he stands to his fee, walking up to the necromancer and kicking him in the shin, "Who's a halfman now?"

Shaking his head as he wakes, he stands to his fee, walking up to the necromancer and kicking him in the shin, "Who's a halfman now?"
Gunidu surrendered his gear when it was required and bore his binding with visible irritation.
"I have powerful friends. You'll regret harming me."

Regin Ald |

I serve one greater than they. You should be more worried about crossing her.
We need to get him to a temple of Ishtae. Quietly. They can handle the just punishment for his crimes here.
Regin searches the room for loot and any proof he can find of this man's practice.

Amarekashu the Bronze |

Amarekashu rose to his feet with a wince, and poured some healing energies into himself to compensate for the injuries he'd taken.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Glancing at the bound priest, Amarekashu considered how best to render him quiet. A gag had flaws when you shoved someone in a sack.

Tribim |

while the others decide what to do with the necromancer, Tribim has a look around.

Gunidu made no answer to Regin, pointedly ignoring the man.
Going about the room, Trib finds set of fine operating instruments 500gp. He spots a gemstone lodged in the throat of the ogre-sized zombie and pries it free, finding a small emerald. 20gp Along the wall, he found a row of shelves. There rested a glass tube about a foot long and half as wide, within which a segmented green worm bobbed in some alchemical solution. He also found an assemblage of human bones tucked roughly into a sack in one corner.

Amarekashu the Bronze |

Looking at the pile of bones, Amarekashu sighed. "I hope those are who we came for," he said with a small wince. He was not eager to deal with this place any longer than they had to.

Amarekashu the Bronze |

"Please do make me tie you to a board of wood so that you are unable to move so much as a toe, gag you with several rags and rope, and stuff you into a sack. It would make this far less comfortable." Amarekashu looked around for a loose floorboard or three anyway. It wasn't an idle threat.

Tribim |

Smiling at Amaredashu's willingness to discomfort the necromancer as he collects anything of value, he nods toward the sack of remains asking. "can we take the remains with us and bury them back at the gravesite?"

Tribim |

Looking at the necromancer, he asks, "Are these bodies the ones the albino half orc brought you?"

Tribim |

Nodding to the necromancer, "thanks, that's at least one wrong we can fix." He turns and asks, "Can we carry the bodies as well, we have a promise to fulfill."

Regin Ald |

Who ever said we were going to just kill you? As long as they do it out of my sight, I don't really care how quickly, or slowly, you die. but if you were to start talking... oh, now?, I'm sure it would make things easier.
Regin hands the rope to the temple guard.

Tribim |

Scratching his head, Tribim asks, "What Peck?"

Samnell |

Regin gives him an open-handed slap to the back of the head. Keep your statements factual and include minimal embellishments. Please.
Gunidu bit back a curse.
"It's like this, then: Pit Lord Sumbar called me here from the City of Gems. There's a cult working in Dalath, down in Dourstone's mines. And maybe up in the hills, or that's what Sumbar thinks. Anyway, they're working on something from that way: that green worm's part of it, and zombies you cant kill. He got me one of the worms and put me up in the Stargazer's tower to see what it's all about. That's all I know."

Tribim |

Looking from Regin Ald to Amarekashu, Tribim asks, "Shouldn't we take this bloke to speak with Zummabu? Unkillable zombies sound like a problem."

Regin Ald |

I'd rather not risk transporting him. Or, rather, I'd prefer to only transport him as much as is necessary. Let's see if our generous master is willing to come to us.

Horatio Yinthana |

I think to myself that there is something odd going on here and I should have a closer look before reporting this back to his highness. I also mumble to myself, "Why did the high priest assign me a lookout task when he knows that I can't see very well? Maybe he just forgot I can't see the back of the church from the pulpit." I set out to follow the group and see if I can follow where they are going by the noise they are making, they didn't appear to be very stealthy when they went by me.

Maka Zaci |

Maka took in a deep breath of fresh air. Her trials in The God's Pit had been long and hard, with her body sporting multiple new scars. Finally she was outside, finally she was free. And all that Zummabu had asked for in return for her freedom was to help with a dangerous quest. Even providing her with some clothing and equipment. There were plenty left to still be freed, but that was a quest she was not yet ready for.
Zummabu had provided her with descriptions of those she was looking for. She'd gotten a bit twisted around while searching, but eventually came across a group heading to the Temple of Ishtar that matched the wizard's descriptions. "HEEEEEEEY!" Maka loudly yelled at the group while widely waving her arm.

Maka Zaci |

Maka runs to catch up with the group. "Are y'all the group working for Zummabu?" She says as she holds up a crude drawing of the descriptions Zummabu gave her. "I'm supposed to help with your dangerous task."

Horatio Yinthana |

After hearing the name Zummabu a couple of times from the odd party and standing a little too close (within 30') so I can see them I interrupt the conversation. "I couldn't help but overhear the name Zummabu. What do you want with my old mentor?" Thinking I heard them say something about going to see him but I'm not sure I really would want to see him, he might still be mad at me, but then again, he could have just forgotten me altogether. "Who are you people?"

Maka Zaci |

"That is us," Amarekashu said, observing the newcomer curiously. "We were just about to go and report to Zummabu."
"Aghh really? I should have just stayed instead of wandering around, oh well." Maka eyed Amerekashu up and down. "Big with pretty eyes, you must be the one with dragon's blood." She said with a wide grin on her face. "We should definitely spar."
Maka jumped slight at Horatio's approach, but quickly recovered, embarrassment tinging her cheeks. "Oh, I'm helping them and they are helping him on a dangerous quest to recover...something. I forget what but I wrote it down."

Regin Ald |

We are under his command and acting according to his wishes. You may follow us and ask more of him if you wish. As was said, we're aware on our way to him.

Amarekashu the Bronze |

Amarekashu smiled back a wide, toothy grin. "More than just blood, but we can try each other's skills when there is time. For now, we had best report back." The large man wasn't willing to give up too much before he was told he was meant to work with this new pair.
