It's okay maybe next time. :)

This is more of a recruitment "request", but we can do those in this thread too, right...?

I'd be keen to do more extraplanar adventures, especially to the Plane of Fire. I've been on adventures to all 3 of the other Elemental Planes, but somehow never Fire; surely Season 8 had some to there, too?

While I'm on the subject, I've been on adventures to Heaven, Hell, Axis, the Astral, Shadow, The First World, and possibly Nirvana, but never to Abaddon (seems like you could get some really scary adventures Down There) nor to the Chaotic Planes (ME!!! Shocking, I know!).

The Ethereal Plane is sadly more of a "flyover plane" than a destination, but if Pathfinder continued 3.5's concept of "the Deep Ethereal", there might've been an adventure there (there'd be some real potential for goofiness there come to think of it, like that Star Trek: The Next Generation episode where Geordi and Ro become "ghosts").

Are there any adventures wherein one visits the Energy Planes??? I can understand why there might not be given their peerless prohibitiveness, but since they're there...come to think of it, there is one I've been on where you're there for a blitz scene, but anything that lingers on those realms a bit more, I'd also be interested in!

phaeton_nz wrote:

I can't say I'm not tempted; what are you doing again (or have you sorted that out?)?

Lantern Lodge

I think I vaguely remember a special on the negative material plane. We received some type of limited duration protection from it for a short period of time. But maybe that wasn't Pathfinder?

I have vague recollections of an ethereal boat in an adventure as well.

Yeah, one of the specials, but it was really blitz (at least for my party); I'm wondering about anything more on the scale of 'you spend nearly the whole adventure there'.

Hello, I’m looking for one more character filling the table to six players. First come, first in. We have already started and are 1/10 into the adventure (briefing and first scene, but no combat).

Click the link above. Thanks.

    Any low level PFS1 recruiting?

    Lapyd wrote:

I've got a number of low level characters that could participate as well.

    Silver Crusade

I'm running a table of PFS1 6-18 'From Under Ice' which is for levels 1-5:

    From Under Ice

I was considering running a Quest but I don't know if three tables is too many.

This is great, Shadow. Are there any openings in the table? I have a level 1 character I'd like to start running some society adventures :)

    Liberty's Edge

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

There are currently half a dozen first-come-first-served Standard tables and one GM choice Standard table for Outpost that are either T1-2 or T1-5; the link to the not-yet-live signup sheet can be found in the post HERE. Signups go live February 9th unless you're a GM for Outpost, in which case you can sign up for one game on February 6th.

It's first come, first served so you'll need to sign up for it.

So, from my understanding, I have to wait another week before signing up; got it, folks. Will do! Thanks in advance.

    GM Early Signups now open!

Early signups for FCFS tables are now open for our GMs (and ONLY our GMs) as a special thank you for running games for Outpost IX. Please remember to limit your signups to 1 regular table for now. When general seating opens on the 9th, you can sign up for more tables.

    *proudly polishes Star*

BTW: How does one identify which "Anonymous [weird animal]" one is being pegged as on GDocs, any clue?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I think you simply don't, and that it's that way by design. *points at the word Anonymous*

...Point taken, but I was really just thinking of one's own.

I think you do not see yourself at all, just the others.
If you're the only one having the document open, there is no animal token.

PBP Outpost IX General Seating now open!

General seating is now open for all players. While there is no limit to the number of games you can sign up for, we do ask that everyone do their best not to overcommit. We also would ask that you not sign up for tons of games at the very beginning, to give everyone the chance to find a seat at a table. Sign up for a few, then wait a day or two to give others the chance.

Remember that the 1 game per character rule still applies to PBP/D games, so no signing up to play in multiple games with the same character.

I see that the higher-level PFS1 games for Outpost have filled up very quickly, but there is one more in need of players:

    Salvation of the Sages

While not strictly FCFS, I expect I will pretty much follow that system (the player I was holding a spot for has signed up).

    One Week To Go!
GMs, with one week to go before Outpost IX officially starts, you should be collecting player information, finalizing your tables, and making sure you have everything ready to go. While you cannot use any game text from the scenario yet, feel free to have your players start introductions and Role Play in the gameplay channels.

Has anyone else gotten their scenarios from scenario support yet? I have not, and I'm not sure if its just delayed, or if I didn't sign up for it correctly (the signups were before the deadline, but maybe I clicked the wrong setting while registering?)

    Envoy's Alliance

This advice from 2e thread for a similar problem may help. Or not.

    Super Zero wrote:
They've dropped. Have you checked the store? New things don't drop to the old page any more, there's a library under the store tab.

The scenario support scenarios for Outpost were issued on the 13th so you should have got yours. One thing worth noting is that they were issued via the new Paizo store library so they will be in there to download rather than the old download location.

That was it, thank you! That's extremely confusing to have the old page exist and not redirect to the new one, especially since the old downloads page is linked directly off the My Account dropdown like it always has been.

One other change from the old system is that the new one doesn't send you an email to let you know when the scenario is available to download.

Yep I learned that the hard way too. I kept looking on the 'old' store and didn't see it so I thought, 'Maybe the new one?' and there it was.

qstor/Alton, your slave ship to Absalom awaits HERE.

Also too, according to the Events forum Outpost is live!

The Outpost IX What Prestige is Worth session had someone drop, so we're down to 5 players. If anyone would like to join in the next few days, we can get you added. You would need to sign up for the slot in Outpost Signup , then hop on over to the game and sign in/start playing.

    Here's the discussion thread: https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75jeajq/discussion#11

Hi, everyone! GM signup has started for Bridging the Gap, our next online convention. It will begin Friday, May 22. GM signups are now open, including recruitment for PbP multi-table specials. (there is also a VTT component that weekend, for those who enjoy real time online play).

1 person marked this as a favorite.

If anyone is considering running a game for Bridging the Gap, please fill out the GM registration. In particular, we are a few GMs short of being able to run the multi-table PF1 special, Assault on Absalom.

    *investigates link*

Is that going to ALL be on Discord?
I was tempted, but I can't use Discord.

No, there will be games here on the forums, too, if GMs sign up for them.

    Silver Crusade

I've GMed Assault on Absalom before at the 1-2 tier, and I presume I can do it again for credit at another tier, so I'd be up for running it pbp.

Well, that depends on what you mean by 'do it again for credit.' You can't get character credit/a chronicle sheet (unless you have one of the older replays that applies to GMing), but it does count as a table for your GM table count, and also counts towards your ten specials for five stars.

Hi, everyone. I'm currently recruiting for 10-12, Breath of the Dragonskull, tier 1-5, here on the forums. Recruitment thread can be found here. I will close recruitment after 72 hours or 12 applicants, whichever comes first. New players welcome!

    GM Redelia wrote:

Forgive me if I'm blind or something, but where can I sign up for those?

    Sovereign Court

    @I'm DMing In Your Closet:

    On Warhorn.

It's about the 4th post in the announcement thread, but here it is again:

    Bridging the Gap 2026

The PbP/PbD tables are right down the bottom of the list of games.

You cannot, however, sign-up (to play, at least) until April 6th.

I'm running two right now and I'm on the fence about adding a third.

    Luke_Parry wrote:

I don't suppose there's anywhere/any way I could register without needing to expand my online footprint any further? I kind of have a "thing" about that.

    GM Redelia wrote:

I'd be happy to do this, if only there were a place here on the forums (or whatever those spreadsheets are you've been using for most things) where I could sign up.

One thing worth noting is that, although GM sign up for Bridging the Gap has already started, the convention itself doesn't start until after the end of Outpost IX (Bridging the Gap starts on the 22nd of May and Outpost IX ends on the 12th of May).
