Daire rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "I've lived my whole life in the Diaspora. That used to be the sarcesian homeward until Eox blew it up. The whole f***ing place." She crosses her arms. "If the Wings of Damiar want to keep an eye on the Eoxians, more power to them. They should. I would." Daire looks at her allies, clearly disappointed in all of their decisions. "Our job was to tend to the site, stop the trouble, and not make waves with the powers that be. We've done that. Mengians rebels won't be causing any more trouble. The dig's safe. Hand him over to the other sarcesians and be done with it. Fayetta can keep up her spying. There's no harm in it. Some good might even come of it."
Daire adamantly votes to side with the sarcesians. Let Fayetta take care of the traitors, and keep their group a secret.

"I'm sorry for the rest of you..but those bastards shot at me and I'm turning them over as evidence of what was going on here. If it helps I'll tell them that it's over now"

ALRIGHT! Let's summarize.
Side with the Sarcesians: Daire
Neutral: Gizzmo-5, Ratatat
Side with the Eoxians: Af'val, Jack, Popper
And because it irritates me when GMs don't mention this clearly enough: No matter which choice you choose, it is guaranteed to affect your chronicle sheet. :) Choose wisely, and you can change your mind if you wish.
Daire, Fayetta has a hard time believing you. (Probably because your allies are so not siding with the sarcesians.) Give me a Diplomacy check.
Popper and Af'val, if you want to help the eoxians capture Fayetta, give me a bluff check to lure her to her doom. Jack, feel free to join in if you want to please the eoxians.
Ratatat, if you want to stay neutral, no rolls are necessary!

Popper has no interest in baiting Fayetta. He simply doesn't wish to lie about the sarcesians' involvement. He will turn in their captive and inform their superiors of the Wings' involvement, but has no interest in aiding her capture. I don't know if that puts him in the neutral category or not.

I don't really want to help the exonians capture this guy (he seems sort of ok at this moment), I just want to turn over the terrorist that shot at me..not sure if that would make me neutral, but I do feel that the Exonians are more in the right here since their dig-site was attacked and they asked us to find out what was going on..., so siding with them. But in case the roll effects the chronicle sheet
"Do not worry about it, I'm sure everything will turn out alright in the end...for everyone"
Bluff: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (14) + 0 = 14

To clarify: Everyone can (and should) give me a Diplomacy check to befriend Fayetta. The three can choose to be bad people and betray (hard betray) the Wings of Damiar with a Bluff check. Or they can make nice and give me a Diplomacy check.
Af'val, you can take back your Bluff check and give me a Diplomacy check if you don't want to betray the "good" sarcesians.

Diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Gonna use a shirt reroll on this...
Diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 20
On the run so will throw up a little RP post later on!

![]() |

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Poor Popper lol. No rest for the derpy.
Popper chitters a painful but eloquent speech in Shirren, but the words get distorted by his misshapen mandibles and are almost illegible. He's pretty sure a couple words ended up sounding like curse words.

I'll do that then, but the result is the same..modifier for bluff and diplomacy is the same so still a 14

[dice=Diplomacy] 1d20
Gonna use a shirt reroll on this...
[dice=Diplomacy] 1d20On the run so will throw up a little RP post later on!
"Fayetta, you'll understand that we have to turn these rebels of yours over to the eoxians. After all, the eoxians were attacked and there have been disturbances to their archaeological efforts so they honestly need some kind of explanation. I know you would have preferred to deal with your misguided zealots your own way but this is how it has to be in order to maintain appearances.
"However, we will also keep your presence hush hush. So although you won't get to punish your own kind, we will not condemn you and the rest of your people to death either. That's gotta count for something right?
"Now I'm not saying the Starfinder Society is siding with you. But I am saying that we will not take the eoxians' side in this matter either.
"So please, keep your men in check and try not to cause anymore overt disturbances, for your sake. And I hope that if we meet again in the future, it won't be under such strained circumstances.
"Whaddaya say? Peace...bro?"

Diplomacy to go with her awesome speech above...: 1d20 ⇒ 9

![]() |

Fayetta's hologram's eyes tighten as she listens to Ratatat's speech. After he finishes, there is a few seconds of awkward silence that drags on for eons. Finally, she speaks. "I am disappointed. I had hoped you would take the side of justice, and conservative peace." She shakes her head and sighs, thinking it over.
Then, she smirks, her tone changing. "I'm sure the eoxians will be proud of you for catching ALL of the sarcesians on the planet. Proud enough to not look very deep into the Blackmoon tunnels for any others." Her smile widens and she calls to someone off screen. "Durel! Pack everything. We're heading to the deep site." She looks to you and nods. "Give us one hour to prep. I will not forget this kindness. The Wings of Damiar will be peaceful from this point on, you have my word." She nods once more and cuts the connection.
With two aids and a reroll you hit EXACTLY the DC. Very nice! You'll be very thankful for that when you see the chronicle sheet. Lucky for you guys that Af'val switched over to the nice option.
You all wait the agreed upon length of time, and then head back to camp with one live sarcesian and two sarcesian bodies in tow. To say Taylehm and Berchta were surprised would be an understatement! "Uh... what happened out there?"

![]() |

Sarcesian terrorists! Popper sends, rubbing his forelimbs together and practically vibrating with energy. Very exciting! There was running! And shooting! And stabbing! Oh I am very glad I joined the Starfinders, this was most satisfying.

![]() |

"It's done. They won't be a problem anymore."

![]() |

Taylehm looks at each of you in shock. "Ok! You can tell me the whole story on the ride back. We should get them to the eoxians. I would hate to hazard our relationship with the eoxians! This dig has gone so well!" You help her take the sarcesians to the nearest city, where you retell your slightly modified story to the authorities. They grill each of you thoroughly, then let you be on your way. "Thank you for rooting out this terror cell. We do not tolerate violence or racism here on eox." The elebrian smiles at you as you leave, lacking the charisma of the famous elebrian, ZO!!.
Thanks to your help, the Blackmoon excavation continues its operation. Taylehm is none the wiser of the sarcesians working within her rock, and the sarcesians will stay - watching... Eventually the dust settles and things return to a state of normalcy for the Blackmoon excavation. At that point, you return to Absalom Station and are met by Venture-Captain Arvin for a debrief on the final outcome of the mission. Unable to lie to your venture captain, you tell him everything. Arvin agrees with your choice, saying, "That is good. You did well, appeasing both sides while stopping a terrible danger to peace and our progress. I am eager to learn more about the sarcesian history and hope to establish further ties with the sarcesians in the future. What did you say her comm frequency was?"
With that we are finished! Feel free to wrap up with any RP, but that is the end! Nicely done, that was a lot of fun. I will create your chronicles in the next day or two and hope to get them uploaded by Friday!
