Realizing a fight is on them, Dorn rushes in, screaming guttural curses in Dwarven.
Surprise round action, single move into room. Assuming from the Initiative order that I'm also going to have a full round's action at the start of combat, here's my round one actions (full attack):
Rage contorts Dorn's features once again and he looks like a man possessed as he lashes out at the closest duergar.
Attack, rage, power attack vs Green: 1d20 + 11 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 11 + 2 - 2 = 23
2H Damage, raging, power attack, witch hunter: 1d10 + 9 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 9 + 6 + 2 = 23
Attack, rage, power attack vs Green: 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 2 - 2 = 13
2H Damage, raging, power attack, witch hunter: 1d10 + 9 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 6 + 2 = 26
Witch hunter gives extra damage against foes who have spells or spell like abilities, which I believe duergar do. If not applicable, -2 damage from each attack

Sorry, I wasn't sure if that was meant as a holdover from last round or not. That was my fault.
Dorn nods an agreement with Glorin's sentiments and steps forward to try a similar tactic of 'hit the enemy really hard.'

Will save vs DC 15: 1d20 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 3 = 12 Fail
The dwarf roars in fury when he feels himself being assaulted by a spell, by foul, cursed magic--
He wheels on Therin with murder in his eyes, but registers at the last moment that this is... an ally, another Pathfinder. And that the spell did not hurt him, but rather... eased his injuries.... Hnnnnhhhh.
With a small wordless snarl he turns back to the actual threat at hand. He will talk to the healer after the battle.

Combat over
The boss had magic warhammer and cloak, mwk breastplate, 2 pts of cure moderate wounds and a key ring. One of keys in the ring fits a locked chest below the bar, which contains 120 pp, 453 gp, four pts of cure light wounds, two pts of hide from undead, and five cut amethysts (worth 100 gp each). In his pocket you find a note (on slide 6, skill checks below reveal more info). His goons had chainmails, heavy crossbows, warhammers and 4 pts of CLW and 4 alchemist's fire flasks. On the room you also find ornate longsword carved from onyx, a suit of masterwork full plate, and an adamantine spiked chain.

Dorn Gritstone

Gore-spattered from the fight, the shorter of the two dwarves in the party stands there breathing hard, the wild look slowly fading from his gaze. He grunts once at Kaleena's words, then crouches to wipe his blade on the garments of the fallen (he's less particular about cleaning himself up).
After a few moments he says raspily to Therin: "In... battle... magic... feels like threat. Even healing magic. Bad experience, once." He rubs at the deep scars on his scalp.
"After is good. If I fall.... my own fault."
Healing always appreciated, and I apologize for not having communicated OOCly about the in-battle clause of the superstitious barbarian-- fortunately I failed my save so you didn't waste your spell, Therin! But yeah, if I go down in a fight, that's on me, so don't worry about trying to heal me in battle. After your heal I'm only down 2 hp, which I don't think is worth spending a resource on.
He lapses back into silence, having no insights into the significance of the history of the area. He does inspect the weapons the enemies carried. The onyx sword is... interesting. He adds it to the collection of weapons lashed to his pack. A heavy crossbow as well, and some bolts.
"Glorin," he says in Dwarven to the human-shaped dwarf. "You need adamantine? Good chain, here."
Dorn already has an adamantine weapon and it doesn't look like Glorin does, so I'd suggest Glorin take the spiked chain. Sadly, it's an exotic weapon, but it might be worth keeping for a bad DR fight even with the penalty to hit!
Looks like 2 CMWs and 8 total CLWS. How about 1 CMW and 1 CLW each for Dorn and Glorin, and then the remaining 6 CLW means 2 CLW for Kaleena, Therin, and Damiel?
Therin Baldaros
|
ahh..makes sense then...gotcha...only heal of you fall down go boom...or splat...lok...i'll take the 2 clw pots..never hurts to have spares...
Duly noted...I'll have to research that. I'm not familiar with that issue. he says making a mental note to remember that.

Duly noted...I'll have to research that. I'm not familiar with that issue. he says making a mental note to remember that.
The dwarf grunts. "Nothin' to research. Not 'issue.' Just.... don't like magic."
He looks dubiously at Therin's holy symbol a moment. "When you hold that up and healing comes out.... that's.... alright."
To clarify in case my flavor text was confusing: don't worry, I won't actually attack any fellow PC! Superstitious just forces me to attempt to resist any spell cast on me while I am raging, even beneficial ones. Channeling, however, is not a spell, so it's a good option and a good question!

"Glorin," he says in Dwarven to the human-shaped dwarf. "You need adamantine? Good chain, here."
Glorin takes the spiked chain. "This is good chain. Yes, I'll carry this. It's always good to have a couple backups."
He also pulls a vial off his belt. "By the way, I also have that enlarging trick available, should we need it." He puts it away and grins, adding, "It was pretty clear that we didn't need it here."

With looting achieved, Dorn moves to the only door that seems to lead further in. He listens at it, and looks it over for any signs of sabotage, before he opens it.

You don't hear anything implying presence of other creatures. Door doesn't seem odd either. To your right you see stairs leading up. To left is empty passage.
Dorn Gritstone
|
Dorn pulls back enough to explain to the others what he sees. "Stay this level? Passage?"
Assuming nobody else thinks they should explore the stairs immediately, Dorn starts down the hallway, keeping an eye out for traps as he goes.
Per for danger: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
Moved myself on the map, but I haven't moved anyone else. It looks like there's a lot of doors on the map too if the map is accurate. Also, I'm assuming it took us at least a minute to loot the enemy, identify their potions, etc, so that I am no longer fatigued
"Lots of doors," Dorn calls over his shoulder to the others.
Kaleena Boomstick
|
Kaleena moves behind Dorn with her musket aimed at the double doors in the middle. "I reckon pick one of them doors and open it... just make sure it isnt dangerous." she tells him.
Mustaparta
|
You can see that the passage branches to right after double doors. No traps are found.
Dorn Gritstone
|
Dorn grunts at Kaleena's words, considering the wisdom. There are many areas here, many doors, and duergar are sneaky foes. He mislikes leaving unexplored areas behind them. But where to start? The nearest door, he supposes, taking the half-orc's advice.
He steps closer to the nearest door he can see (E13) and tries the handle.
Took the liberty of moving Therin and Glorin into at least the same hall as the rest of us.
Mustaparta

Dorn opens the door. This pentagonal room is decorated with comfortable chairs and sofas around a fireplace. A small bust of Delbera Axebringer sits in the northernmost corner. The bust is finely crafted marble, there is nothing else of interest.
Dorn Gritstone
|
Dorn grunts. He moves in, examines the bust, and absently puts it into his pack. They can return it to her descendants once the place is cleared of the invading undead filth.
"We check behind us," he says gutturally, and detours back briefly to rooms they've only glanced in.
For the sake of thoroughness, Dorn is circling through E15 to make sure we're not missing anything of interest, then going to the door to E16, checking it for trouble, and opening it.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

A heavy partition divides this room into two sections. Shattered glass and looted armor and weapon racks litter the north end of the room, where a massive display case stands open and empty.
