Looking over his crew with a critical eye, "might still get samples later. Some of you look bad."

At the mention of more molds, he offers up his grenades to the rest of the crew. "Seemed to work better than lasers, my plasma also is effective."

CRACK! A giant chunk of roof falls to the floor, interrupting everyone's rest period. More cracks begin appearing in the roof. If seems like the mold swarm must have been holding up the structure of the building after millennia of aging. The building is coming down!!!

Alrighty...this happened 1 round after the mold swarm died.
So you don't get your ten minute rest, unfortunately. Everybody take one round of actions. :)

I don't know that we can make the exit in one round. It's the building collapsing, right, not just this room. So I presume we need some form of safe shelter...

Lenny's quick look is to see if... there's a window with reach double move or a sturdy structure to shelter under (e.g., the server rack?)

"Ah! Not good! Go go go! Pippimi stay in back and hold up roof if needed!" Like any good team leader, Pippimi puts the well being of her team ahead. She hurries everyone out of the room and back toward the front door.

Not sure of the distance to the front door, but I suspect Pippimi may take quite a few move actions to get there. She has 25ft speed. She can also pop her hurry racial to get one extra move action if it looks like it'll be close.

Alright, I probably should have set this up better. How about this: I'll move everybody's pieces, so just let me know what you'd like to do.

Davrin doesn't see anything of value and heads out of the room with the rest of the group. Lenny looks for windows, remembering most of the rooms don't have any. The group runs out of the server room, through the outer engineering bay, and into the hallway.

Who's Slacking Behind: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Pippimi waits for everyone where she stands outside the door, but is forced to jump aside as the floor crumbles just as Davrin hops out. Zoran is left on the other side as the roof continues to crumble above him! If he doesn't get out soon he'll be buried alive! Zoran, please give me a DC25 Athletics check to jump over the pit! If you fail, you fall 30 feet to the bottom and will have to find a way out! Your alternative is literally getting buried alive. :)

Pippimi looks nervously at the roof above them, seeing cracks beginning to form in the Engineering Bay walls. This room has a bit longer than the server room, but will collapse sooner rather than later.

Out in the hallway, Davrin is able to round the corner where he sees that much of the hallway has collapsed already! Zulu turns to look at the door into the office area, noticing it seems to have been jammed by the collapse. That door will take a Strength check to open.

Alrighty! Where too? The door to the southern room is open, the southern door to the office area is closed but not jammed. (one action to open.) The eastern door to the office area is closed and jammed. And Zoran is probably going to need help getting out of the server room.

Lol! Zoran's resigned "So this is what gives me my true death" really got me.

Pippimi springs into action to save the workteam. She grabs her cable line from her pack, drops the loose into the hole next to her and ties the other end around herself (Standard action?). Leaning into her hyper skittermander energy, she rolls around the table and gets to a spot where she'll be braced against the table once Zoran starts climbing.

So again, move action -> retrieve cable line, free action -> drop end into hole, standard action -> tie cable line to self, swift -> hyper racial for extra move action and move 25ft .

Davrin hears the commotion with Zoran but knows that even with his jetpack, he can't lift the borais so he focuses on finding a safe path out for everyone. He races to the southern door to the office area and throws it open, hoping to find a way out.

Interesting, Davrin actually has higher speed on foot then flying so he'll stay on the ground. However, if it begins to get difficult terrain, he'll fly instead.

Davrin runs into the southern room, followed closely by Clank. The meeting room is much the same as when the group explored it earlier, with the large glass windows on the southern face. The moss that covers the walls, and every other surface, is beginning to lose it's pristine white coloring as the life form slowly dies. That, combined with the cracks slowly spreading through the ceiling, makes it evident that the building won't be standing much longer. Davrin guesses that the windows could be broken rather easily and then leapt through. Strength check or damage to break them. Then an acrobatics check to get through without getting cut.

CRASH!
The server room's ceiling and walls begin to crash down, collapsing as the mold colony that provided structural integrity finally dies. Dust flies into the engineering bay, coating Lenny, Pippimi, and Zoran. Pippimi and Lenny get on one end of the rope, tossing the other to Zoran. Zoran is thirty feel below in the pit, surrounded by concrete foundation, ready to climb up. DC 10 Athletics to move upwards at half speed! So you can move 20 feet per Move Action, so you should be able to get up next round.

Engineering, DC 15:

The Engineering Bay is going to collapse after two more rounds.
You guess that there is a small, but very real, chance that the falling rubble could kill someone in the area.

Zulu, still out in the hallway, hears scattered noises of rubble falling from the area in the center of the building as the blockage expands slightly. Feel free to take two turns, Zulu. Otherwise I'll just assume you followed Davrin.

(Not sure how this would work, since I'm not sure how the bulk of hauling up an ally would be handled. Here's an athletics check if needed. Maybe it just ends up being an aid another?)

With a Herculean effort on behalf of gym rat Lenny, with some help from the nearby management professional, Zoran is able to climb 30 feet up the wall in no time at all! The trio stands near the hole, listening to Lenny's extremely helpful and not-at-all annoying countdown towards their doom. "Eight...Seven...Six..."

A room away, Zulu joins the other two up against the window. Looking at safety beyond the half inch of tempered glass, the trio tries to find a way through. You can try a DC 12 Strength check to break it, or use a weapon to apply 10 points of damage and break it. Then each of you needs to perform an acrobatics check to get through it without getting cut.

Davrin whips out his disintegrator pistol just as he turns on his jetpack. "AAAAAHHHH!" he screams as he flies full speed into the window, firing upon it as he does so.

Davrin's shoulder bursts through the window weakened by the sonic blast. He rolls on the landing, making it through the window unharmed. The rest of the party looks on, seeing the large glass shards sticking out of the window frame that he managed to avoid. Everybody make a DC 16 Acrobatics check to get through the window without getting sliced!

CRUNCH!

Lenny looks over his shoulder and sees the engineering bay's roof collapse in a pile of girders and concrete slabs. Holding up the rear of the group, he can see the roof shaking as the building continues to fall apart. The mold around him slowly fades from white to a dead gray color.

Alright, I lied. Failing the Acrobatics check means you don't make it over the window. Here's botting the last couple rounds for Clank.

Clank struggles to get up and over the window, but is able to make it over before Lenny makes it to the frame.

Most of the group flips up and over the window frame, most of the group displaying a feat of agility while leaping. Lenny and Zoran make it to the window as the building continues to shake.

CRASH

The roof in the hallway falls in, burying the exit in rubble. The pair look at each other briefly, now trapped in the long-abandoned meeting room. Zoran goes first, up and over the window sill. Lenny tries to follow, but his armor weighs him down and he is unable to make it up high enough!

CRUNCH!

Falling Rubble: 8d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 6, 2, 4, 4, 5, 5) = 30

Unseen by Lenny, a patch of mold on the ceiling dies quickly, moving to a dead black color. The concrete it was holding up falls down, striking Lenny on the back! He manages to stay standing, but realizes he has only a dozen more seconds until the building falls around him! Lenny, take another shot at the Acrobatics check to escape. DC 16 means you pass and escape. Failure means another tile will fall on you. The rest of the party is welcome to try and help with creative methods.

The group bands together on the other side of the wall, ready to help. Pippimi jumps up and down, reaching out to smash out a few of the glass shards on the high windowsill. Zoran hops up, trying to get up on the sill to help Lenny. His arms make it just over the ledge, just out of reach of Lenny's outstretched arms. Then Davrin tosses his rope over, Lenny grabs onto it, and he tries to parkour up the wall. But his armor clashes together with a clang, and he falls onto his butt!

SQUISH!

Another section of mold dies out and a metal girder falls onto Lenny's leg! Blood starts to fill his suit as the gym owner's body begins to fail. Lenny breathes heavily, standing back up on shaky legs. Behind him, parts of the room collapse further. Lenny looks around, tense, realizing he only has one more chance before the building collapses down around him. Time slows down and his heartbeat fills his ears. Alright! With the rope, I'll let Lenny use Acrobatics OR Athletics to get up and over the window. Others can assist from the outside with Athletics.

Davrin wraps the cable around his waist and flies away again, hoping that despite his small bulk, the jetpack might provide sufficient thrust to pull Lenny out.

Lenny crawls up the rope, just like the gym... just like the gym..., his arms start shaking as he gets within an inch of the window. One more rep...one more rep... Lenny's fingers grasp the window sill when his muscles give out!

The team pulls on the rope, heaving Lenny's body up over the wall. He collapses on top of the group in a heap as the building comes down in a cloud of smoke.

Wow! That was WAY TO CLOSE! Great job! Time for a ten minute rest and some well deserved deep breaths?

As a move action, you can spend 1 Resolve Point to recover a number of Hit Points equal to twice your solarian level.

As he sits near the building resting, the party notices a warm glow of solar energy being emitted from his form as he conducts accelerated healing processes. Bruises from the collapse begin to lighten and most disappear completely. His solar mote is restored from a faint, dull glow to it's usual more-noticeable brightness.

The power of the universe does many useful things...

He pops back up with renewed energy.

So... that roof collapse would have been 10d10 bludgeoning damage (Reflex DC 18 half). Then another 3d6 bludgeoning damage per minute (Fortitude DC 18 half) from being crushed by the roof.

The group enjoys the beautiful view, with the soft pink and orange clouds floating by. You have the admin keys to the side door of the Foundry in your pocket, and blood staining your armor. Some yours, some from the wildlife of the planet. Alrighty, where to now? You can head straight to the Foundry, go back to the rebel base (with Herald Tzayl), or back to the ship!
