Victoria Fate |

Actually, scratch that. I just realized I cant do an immediate action, as I'm flatfooted from not acting yet.
Sorry, Crystal :(

Ransaq |

All who failed their will save, DC 16, have been affected by color spray, and are blinded and stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 1 round, then stunned for 1 round.
I believe that makes it my turn again. I'll post my round 1 actions in just a moment.

Ransaq |

"HA!"
"At least I got the mouthy ones."
His spell having failed on two of them, he decides to give it another go, then moves to a more comfortable spot.
Will save from Sarcon, Victoria, Crystal, and Victor again. No need for Spellcraft, it's the same spell.
@GM If Victoria fails her save I'll move between Garroth and Patricie and up 2. If she passes I'll move to Patricie's upper right corner.

Crystal Shalhoume |

I'll take your action and stated OOC as though you and DM-Kal have sorted out my question.
A burst of color comes from the approaching elf, dazzling the priestess and causing the world to go black for a few moments. What the hell?!?!
Of course, she regains her sight just in time for another blast from the nefarious elf.
Will Save (Can't be any worse, this time): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Ransaq |

That's not how that works. The rules under held actions are general. Surprise rounds are specific. I would only go right before you in further surprise rounds, which don't happen.
We can talk about this in discussion if you like.

Victor Ravenport |

Victor bellows out a frightened scream as Sarcon falls; "We're under at-"
The elderly man's sentence is cut off short as a wave of colorful energy washes over his eyes, his eyes goes blind and the feeble walking cane he was supporting himself against drops from his hands.
Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

![]() |

Ready to move on, Marcello was about to move away when the frightened scream from Victor cuts through the Air. Turning around he sees the Elf running back to his group and Crystal dropping to the ground.
Rage boiling in his body he steps in front of the downed Sarcon, drawing his greatsword in the process and stands ready at the front of his group. His voice is loud and filled to the brim with anger as he shouts
"ELF! Cease your unlawful ways now!"
Lifting his greatsword, Marcello stands ready to strike anyone down who were to come closer to him or his allies.
Move action to move in front of Sarcon, drawing weapon as part of move. Use Standard action to Ready an attack if anyone moves in to attack... In case I am to write what I use my actions on.

Sanza Quintana |

Sanza skirts around the outside of the group, drawing his rapier and coming around next to Victor. He focuses his innate eldritch abilities as he lashes out at his opponent (who seems to be suffering from Melaphi's spell).
1 eldritch point (eldritch pool from Eldritch Scion archetype) to activate my bloodline ability for 2 rounds (+2 DC to cast defensively within my threatened area) and allow spell combat
rapier: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
confirm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
crit on the first hit, too bad I haven't spent any panache yet!

Victor Ravenport |

So, net effect, everything after Ransaq's second color spray may be redone. I think we're still waiting on saves from Marcello? Then it should be Fate up (if she's still un-stunned).
Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Victor escapes from the effects of the elf's trickery, his eyes grows panicked as he realizes that some of his companions didn't make it. He mutters an arcane incintation, his methodical messing only disturbed by his wheezing breath.
Then he fades into nothing and frantic footsteps can be heard for a single movement.

Ready to move on, Marcello was about to move away when the frightened scream from Victor cuts through the Air. Turning around he sees the Elf running back to his group and Crystal dropping to the ground.
Trying to understand what happened, he steps up next to the downed Sarcon, drawing his greatsword in the process and stands ready. His voice is loud and filled with anger as he shouts
"ELF! Cease your unlawful ways now and face judgement!!"
Lifting his greatsword, Marcello stands ready to strike anyone down who were to come closer to him or his allies.
I ready a standard attack on anyone who enters threaten zone with weapons drawn... Unless it is the guard.

posted it 3 times now but okay

Squinting his eyes, Marcello doesn't move his sword an inch from being ready to strike down any who comes near.
"Other than saying words, the Lady has no weapons pointed at you, neither has Mister Ravenport and Sarcon has made no moves towards his Falchion... So where is the Murderous Ally I am unable to see!?"
His voice still as angry and challenging as before.

Ransaq |

"I am able to see him, and that is all I need to save my own life. And being that you have chosen them as allies, I expect nothing less from you, Sheathe your weapon and stand down until the guards get here!"

Sanza Quintana |

Sorry for going out of turn. I am going to revise this to act more in character of how I think he would behave.
Sanza draws his rapier and steps up next to Melaphi in a defensive posture, trying to get a better sense of what is going on.
Total Defense
Sense Motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16 on Ransaq

Crystal Shalhoume |

"He's pulled a knife on us Melaphi, it now lay by his feet. No matter his claim, I give you my word it was his intent to bury it in one of our backs."
Since we sorted everything out, I am going to point out the obvious error in this statement and graciously offer to let Ransaq restate.

Melaphi Dasan |

"Whoa, whoa, just put the blade away. Grab your jerky friend and get out of here." Melaphi calls out while grabbing his shield from off his back and taking a step backwards.
Then calling back over his shoulder, "Ransaq, he didn't draw a knife, we should just leave."
Mechanics, move action to equip shield.
5' step back.
Standard to ready an action - trigger and action detailed in heroes game play thread.

Garroth Seren |

Oh boy im dumb, was waiting for my turn, and it IS my turn. Blargh!
Stepping forward, Garroth drew his sword. "Listen to the man and stand down, we didnt come here to fight you!"
Trip: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

![]() |

Marcello snorted at Garroths "advice". "You may not have come to fight, but that elf of yours certainly started one!"
He noticed the sword and raised his eyebrow, still keeping his sword ready to attack, but making no move towards them.

Ransaq |

"If I had not acted Mel, I'd be bleeding from my back right now."
Ransaq moves forward, hoping to incapacitate his remaining foes with a third casting.
Move to the square above Garroth, cast color spray again, Will save from Crystal and Marcello.

![]() |

Eeeh, according to the Roll20 Map, Garroth is standing in my threat range, so seeing as I readied a action to attack any who enter it with weapons drawn, I'm rolling now...
Sorry for not noticing earlier
attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
damage: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (4, 6) + 11 = 21
As Garroth enters the range of the greatsword, Marcello swings with a violent overhand chop at the Half-Orc. "You were warned to stay back!"

Crystal Shalhoume |

Almost in a fugue state, Crystal witnesses the goings on around her...her companions (and herself) getting blasted with the colorful magic again, Marcello rushing to defend them, the back and forth between Marcello and Ransaq and Garroth, the half-orc moving forward and Marcello viciously responding. She feels herself again as the elf starts moving back towards them, and before he can lift his hands and cast the detrimental spell again she yells at the top of her lungs, "GUARDS!!!!"
And then the world was awash in color yet again.
Will Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
And then all was black again.
