Ctrl C + Ctrl V? (on a pc anyway. :-P)
Edit: Were you ok with me taking the poppet as my familiar? A creepy doll sounds fun. ;-)

So, just to make sure I understand the table...
I would have 25 gp
1 second level item
2 first level items
Is that correct?
Sorry guys, was having trouble with room in my headspace for this. I'm good now, big update on Monday and were rolling.

I'll be out on vacation from 3/26 - 4/1 and unable to post.
So...following the trail that sweeps from side to side, or following the steps to the north?

Gotcha; anyone else around?

Yup! I can now see, forever closing the door on "only perception is underwater sonar" Tessamine.
Kib, have any idea if Celaadar will be back at some point? If so, I'll DMPC; if not, she's going to take a long stroll along the beach

GM Nayr wrote: Kib, have any idea if Celaadar will be back at some point? If so, I'll DMPC; if not, she's going to take a long stroll along the beach He said he would contact you about this himself. Not in the foreseeable future. Probably going to need a replacement.
I've been invited to join. Would a bard fit in.
As a warning I've only played in a couple of 2e playtests so setting up a character will be a challenge. Are you assigning society credits for this AP. If so I will create a 2e PFS character too.

Here is the character. I have not figured out gear yet, I am not sure if the focus points are correct, and I probably have a bunch of errors.
Somebody PEASE review.
Welcome guys; sorry - no society credits...I don't know if I have the patience to deal with that.
Old crew - we have 2 new Players coming in. Since Celaadar is on hiatus, we're going to simply slip her out and the new guys in. I don't want to waste any more time with RP back and forth...it would really hinder moving forward. So, welcome new guys!
Looks like this one is still built at 5th level, but would certainly work if you can tinker it down to 3rd.

Check again. It was mostly that I forgot to update the tag line.

Greetings to the new players. I'm Kib, Kobold Scout. I barely know 2nd edition, so I'm going to answer all of your questions with "Let's find out together". It'll be exciting.

Hey all, welcome to the game!
Thanks Banterknell; we've some work to do on spells, items, and AC, but a good start. I'll dig into it further
So, for items, you get either 75 gold to do with as you wish...or 25 gold plus one 2nd level item and 2 1st level items. Please reduce your items accordingly when you can
2nd: 1, 1st: 2 25 gp 75 gp
For spells, you get 5 cantrips, 3 1st level spells, and 2 2nd level spells as as a base, and you're an occult spellcaster. Please reduce the spells accordingly when you can
As for your gear - are you sure you want to go with chain shirt and shield? That's super weird for a bard, who isn't trained with them. You'd lose your proficiency mods when using them so it would be a major hindrance. I'd suggest going with no armor or light armor and ditching the shield - you'd need a hand free to cast spells anyway.
yikes...Tess, that's 3 straight hits on you, and one is a crit!
Female LG Half-Elf Champion 3 | HP 36/44 | AC 20 | FORT +9 REF +7 WILL +7 |PERC +5 | Speed 25ft | Active conditions: none | Focus: 1/1
Oh geez I also missed the first hit... You didn't calculate crit damage for that last hit, but can I assume it's just the double? If so, that's 36 damage, and 30 damage otherwise...
owie

What did I get wrong for spells. This is what I thought he should get...
Bonus spells from bard: Counter Performance, Inspire Courage
Bonus spells from feat: Loremaster’s Etude
Bonus spells from Muse: Unseen Servant
Cantrips (5)
Spells: Daze, Light, Prestidigitation, Read Aura, Telekenetic Projectile
1st level (3)
Spells: Protection, Illusory Object, Phantom Pain*
2nd level (2)
Spells: Illusory Creature, Sound Burst*
Spells with the * are signature spells
Though I'm thinking I should change to a Maestro muse. They seem to have better feats/abilities. Thoughts?
Male Human Cleric (Cloistered Cleric) 3 35/35 hp AC 17, Fort 8, Ref 5 will 11; Perception +9
Hi There! This is my first real attempt to make a 2e character, any feedback would be welcome.
Marius is a cleric of Shelyn, who is by profession a jeweler, and appreciator of fine craftsmanship and artisanship across the lands!
That looks good, now. I've honestly never played a bard in 2E, so no idea.
Looks good so far Marius; I may be missing your HP in there...am I?

OK, Banterknell is ready, I think.
Sweet! Mind jumping into the roll20 game here:

I'll make tokens for you and I plan to put you right in and remove Celaadar. It's the easy way, sure, but in play by post I'm not going to go back and detail a long backstory to get you in there.

So what is going on right now? Any chance at getting a history of what has happened, at least from the perspective of the new characters who have been back at camp this whole time, I expect? No long backstory, but just something to get us started. The PCs can supply more details IC when the battle is over.
It there supposed to be a map at that roll20 location? All I saw was a black void begging to be filled.

You should be able to see now; had to link your token up.
So, everyone here jumped on this ship, the Peregrine, as a member of colonists on an expedition to journey to the island of Ancorato in the Arcadian Ocean. The trip is being financed by the Andoran government and the Bountiful Venture Company, a newly formed finance company.
Ramona Avandth works for the BVC and was in charge of this expedition, but when you get to the colony, called Talmandor's Bounty, you found it deserted. Some brave PC's cleared it out of dangers so you can reinhabit, and then dealt with other issues like Grindylow tribes, Ghosthater goblins, finding reagents, odd face suckers, and Skum attacks. One of the Skum had a map, which led the team up here.
They spent some time in an old abandoned shrine area at the behest of two Celedons, who were insistent upon teaching them the Azlanti language and the history of their goddess, Acavna. You left the archaeologist Carver Hastings there to learn more, then headed to the N. You passed a weird roaming swarm of metal bearings, then continued on to this odd tower here.
The tower door reads...in Azlanti:
Spindlelock research facility: a division of the Spindle Solution, making tomorrow's humanity, today

Still seeing nothing but pitch black. Maybe a lighting issue? I hear lighting can be confusing on roll20.

Banterknell try moving around the Roll20 screen. That is what I had to do using two fingers to scroll down on my phone I found the map I've scrolled all over the place, shrunk and expanded the screen. I've even clicked on areas and selected areas in hopes that it might pick up my icon. I really think that lighting has been turned off for my character.
Yeah, it is....but I run dozens of games on it, so you'd think I'd know it by now:p
I'll check; may need to delete and remake your token...sometimes a reboot is needed to make it work again
Pretty please, mind trying again:) I think the link between you as a user and your character was broken, making the token not recognize you.
Makes me love Foundry VTT even more...

And just like that, the blind can see! And now that I can see the map I'm not sure he can cast the soothe spell. Is Marius injured enough to deserve some healing? If not I'll need to adjust my actions to include a move. Kib is hidden by the left door which is casting a shadow over him. Is only the right door open? Tessamain is also hidden from Banterknell's view.
Can you split a spell between rounds, like do the somatic part now and the verbal part next round?
Sweet!
Nope, can't split a spell like that. Correct, only the RH door is open; in 2E it's an action to open a door.
Grunyar - all good with that spell...since the bolt is on top it is...sort of....unattended. Please continue to include the attack roll if you keep using it though. Good idea.
Sorry guys, work has been killing me. Crazy busy, and will catch up when I can.
Male Human Cleric (Cloistered Cleric) 3 35/35 hp AC 17, Fort 8, Ref 5 will 11; Perception +9
Happens to everyone! No worries.
Sorry guys; back at it now I think my time has stabilized a bit. Marius, would you like to do anything?
Gruyar - you don't really see a way to gum up the works, but you can definitely keep stealing bolts from one of them at least.
Wizard 3, HP 28/37 Perception +6. Dwarf AC:16 . Fort +8, Ref +6, Will +8. Melee attack +5. Range attack +6. Spell attack +9. Spell DC 19
GM Nayr
Thanks for the info. Is there any way if we can see if the ramp leads up to one of the crossbows? Also you never answered my question about if we could tell if the crossbows are automated unmanned devices or if we can see someone or something controlling them?
N/N male gnome bard/3 | Acrobatics +8, Deception +9, Diplomacy +9, Occultism +6, Perception +4, Performance +11, Stealth +8, Thievery +8 | HP: 30/38| AC: 15 | F/R/W: +4/7/4| Active Conditions: none
And does the ramp have walls. In other words, if you are on the stairs are you safe from the crossbow. If you are at the top of the stairs are you safe from the crossbows? We may just want to run for the top.
