Not to mention Majuba views the world approximately 10 feet further away from everything else than the regular Orc

• As the team slowly approach they see a sandy beach area ahead of them with some shallow waters from the underground lake. Brutes MAJUBA and GREEZ get down on their hands and knees to crawl, in order to minimise the sound of their movement. ODAK tries to get down low too, but is much too clunky to benefit from this technique as his metal plates smack together.

• Near the beach, the team comes across the fight of more Skum, this time with shoulder pads and knee-pads, they are found kneeling towards a figure that seems to be standing on a body of water like any landlubber would tread earth.

> GATHERING OF THE SKUM <
• MAJUBA attempts to see ahead, except the narrow slits of his mask and general sightedness doesn't give him the needed insight to see what's going on. TIGERWOLF on the otherhand sees what appears to be a woman with oily, blue skin covered in a dress weaved with seaweed.

It seems there's a Kobold being held by the Skum guards, they're being spoken to by the loud decrees of the female who then beckons them closer. The Kobold begins to stumbles towards the waters and the female until they fall into the deep water like a rock. The female sinks into the water slowly until she is totally submerged.

GREEZ notices this, and bubbles on the surface of the water blub up for a minute before disappearing.

Yeah, think of it like a cutscene of sorts. You wouldn't have time to blow your tactical advantage to save the Kobold before they submerged anyway

• The Team have just witnessed some kind of ritual by the waters of the lake conducted by a female of distinctive appearance. It is very likely to be the WEEDY LADY, given how she was covered in Seaweed. At least the Kobolds aren't ambiguous with their naming conventions.

You have time to discuss amongst yourselves on a plan of action, but once you push on ahead there will be no turning back. You may arrange your formations any way you wish (so long as it does not contradict itself. Like ODAK wanting to be behind TIGERWOLF who wants to be behind ODAK) before entering.

She points to Dergosh, Greez and pointed to the first skum they could see. Third one from the left To Karol and Majuba she motioned to the group and to her leftMap right and wiggled her fingers. To Odak she motioned to him and motioned him towards the left and made a motion with her hands as if curving around something. She was telling him silently to go around and attack that side. She motioned to herself and made a walking motion with her fingers and motioned to Odak and moved behind him. She would support him with him as lead.

• ODAK peers down at Tigerwolf and nods quietly to her when she gave her directions, trying not to bang his chin against his chestplate. He prepared himself mentally about going out into the open as now this was the final confrontation against the so-called Weedy-Lady. He knew that the moment he moves from his spot he'll create the distinctive clanking and thunking of his armour and reveal his team's presence, he couldn't let them down.

He waits just a liiittle bit longer just to be sure.

Noticed the one that Tigerwolf motioned for him to move to when it was time to. A hard nod of head and wait till the signal was giving to start the closing in. Since knew was not best at being sneaky, but knew could move fast when had to.

Dergosh sighs, and waits uncomfortably. Time to charge, he thinks, but he'll wait until Odak moves before charging full speed at the nearest opponent, his mace held high above his head ready to bring it down crushingly on a skum's head.

Garmack nods, and draws a bead on the skum indicated, eyeing down the shaft of his arrow.

Problems with the other mission are now resolving so I can concentrate with this mission now

> THE WEEDY LADY <
• On ODAK's mark, the bulky armoured Golian begins to stomp on forward, sword and shield in his hands and arm as he races (as fast as his weight would allow) towards the beach scene, instantly gaining the attention of the Skum and the Mistress herself. As far as Stealth goes, Odak is ultimately the loudest with his stratospheric ACP and his size giving him a huge debuff to Stealth checks. Tigerwolf however can use this size to grant full concealment necessary for stealth.

The WEEDY LADY turns towards him and furrows her scaly brow, "Hmmm..." she breathed airily, "A great hero come to slay me, I admire your bravery tall one. Come here and slaaay me...!". The WEEDY LADY wasn't exactly a pretty sight, she had the eyes and brows of a beautiful human woman and long seaweed-like hair but with the skeletonised snout and teeth of a horse. She beckons ODAK over with a finger as she stepped back into the waters.

KELPIE's LURE: ODAK's save Will DC=20: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

• ODAK sword and shield hit the ground with might thuds as the giant stared down towards the WEEDY LADY and start walking towards her in a daze, he mumbles low to himself, "Sllaay laaddy..."

• Turn order is WEEDY LADY, #BRUTESQUAD then #ELITESKUMGUARDS.
• Combat began with WEEDY LADY entrancing ODAK with their KELPIE LURE ability.
• It is not a surprise round, the Elite guards are alert!
• ODAK's been updated to the new revision on the Golian (Broadback) race which gives him extra HP but lower Defence and ATK. He is also test-trying the 'Armor as damage reduction' and 'Excess DR into Subdual' house rules which can be explained in Discussion.

Would of course move toward the indicated one to go after. Then right off the bat does a powerful kick to attempt to kick the Skum right in the chest with flat of foot.

• ODAK is trapped in the Kelpie's Lure and moves half his move speed as he walks towards the WEEDY LADY, even towards the deeper waters without thinking! Use Aid-Other to try and snap him out of it!

• DERGOSH temporarily scoops TIGERWOLF up into his large hands, puts her down and splish-splash-sploshes into position to unleash a mildly painful Sound-Burst upon ELITE SKUM A and B. They brace themselves against the soundwave however their senses are uncertain.

• GARMACK steps between KAROL and MAJUBA in order to line up a shot against the Skum around the corner. With a small help from Karol's drumming the ranger was able to strike both Skum, even felling one of them straight away. Skum A is unable to battle.

Only TIGERWOLF is yet to act this round.

Tigerwolf would grab the back of Odak's armor and yanks on him using her body weight to shift his thoughts and gaze elsewhere. If she could grabbing his mask underneath his helm because that was personal to Odak and he would notice. Yes she is pretty much climbing Odak probably blowing her stealth in the process

• The WEEDY LADY spots TIGERWOLF and sighs harshly and turns away slightly while pointing an accusing finger towards her, "Hrrrh...! He was mine, I will have him!". She begins to display some of her power as she summons a couple of water geysers beside her. The Lady's Minions begin their assault!

• E-SKUM B begins a coordinated assault as they perform a Acrobatics check to clear DERGOSH's head. E-SKUM A takes a five-foot step to take the former of their former comrade in order to catch DERGOSH in a flank! E-SKUM C at the back moves in by E-SKUM B's side. [C] begins to fight-defensively then uses Aid-Other to help protect his partner from the hulking monk, although he fails to do so this time around.

E-SKUMs A and B thrust their spears in towards the Noisy Orc and pull no punches when they lunge towards the torso!

• The WEEDY LADY seems to be enraged at TIGERWOLF's meddling, "I'll drown you ALL for your intrusion! DROWN!" with those mildly intimidating geysers she summons she does something with them. She manipulates the columns of water to her will and bends them towards the shore right at ODAK (/w TIGERWOLF) and GREEZ! ODAK unfortunately gets the full force of the geyser as he's knocked 5ft back, knocked prone and takes d6 subdual from the fall!

WARNING: Please provide all relevant DCs and brief descriptions of how powers work as you make your post to avoid these Retcons in the future. Failure to do so may result in unknown DCs being treated as 0 and non-descript effects being treated as 'Harmless' with no Retcons. It also may be a good idea to add your CMB/CMD as I've been having trouble finding anybodys (even ODAK's is missing!) and it's a pretty important check for anything that's not a direct attack.

• MAJUBA casts a Misfortune Hex upon E-SKUM A...! But E-SKUM A doesn't believe in superstitions and it fails this time.

SKUM A: Will Save (DC 20): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

• GREEZ proves his ape-like agility as he avoids the majority of the water wave with only a big splash against his side. He shifts to the side and targets SKUM-A with a flurry of blows, he ends up wiffing the first punch but succeeds in landing a haymaker causing serious damage, SKUM-A is now bleeding.

• KAROL moves in towards the beach, ducking between MAJUBA's stilt-like legs so he could approach the cluster of SKUM opposite DERGOSH and strike with his Axe! The Axe's blade hits armour but cuts deep, dealing some damage to the fishman. Even though the sudden retcon has eliminated the flank bonus, your attack roll was high enough to hit your intended target anyway and set up a flank

• ODAK has been pushed back as per his failed save against the massive aqua jet attack, TIGERWOLF is currently lagging in mid-air until she performs her save and moves.

GAME POST:

Garmack decided to eliminate the remaining land-based skum threatening their flanks, but thinking ahead he was also determined to see how well the Weedy Lady faired under a barrage of arrows. He moved along the bank towards to Odak's right, firing at the skum while also setting up his next shot against the WL.

Move to space adjacent to Odak, directly north of WL

Dergosh extricates himself from the shallow water, the discharges another burst of energy at the three closest skum, using his powers to shield the four nearest orcs from his attack.

Letting Odak take the brunt of the water pillars she hid behind him and as he started to fall she dropped down moving where they couldn't touch her.

"Hey horse face. If you want him you have to take him from me and since you are weak you wouldn't dare face me. You have to use your magics because you aren't woman enough to take me on."

Tigerwolf will draw out her crossbow and fire it at the weedy lady. She really had the one shot.

• GARMACK dashes around behind the Iron turtle ODAK who had been floored earlier so he could strike down the other injured SKUM, disabling it.

• TIGERWOLF successfully avoid the water blast from ODAK's chestplate and lands carefully behind where he craters. Hiding behind the several foot bulk of the giant's chestplate. She takes aim with the crossbow in order to stick a period in her point. Alass the arrow misses by a foot and the WEEDY LADY is PO'd

• DERGOSH steps back onto the beach as he begins to channel harmful negative energy towards his foes.

• ODAK begins to heave his huge body up to stand, taking a move action as he does, he brings his shield up and digs into into the earth to give himself full cover with the edge of the shield facing south.

• Having come to their senses, SKUM A and B shake off their stunned condition and take up arms against the one who attacked them. The three guards all shift into a line with five-foot steps. SKUM A takes some bleed damage then goes into fighting defensively, he then attempts to aid SKUM C's defenses against the giant Orc's attacks, it fails.

• SKUM C attempts to attack GREEZ by thrusting it's spear at his leg, he misses. SKUM B attempts to attack DERGOSH, the Skum just barely makes contact, causing a nasty graze to the full-orc.

> WEEDY LADY <
• Angry at the crossbow bolt whizzing by, she produces an eruption of water from all around here, creating a wall of water much like a waterspout. Her malevolent blue eyes glow from within. A huge wall of water surrounds the WEEDY LADY like a wall.

From within she reaches out and produces a water-whip from the swirling waterspout and targets MAJUBA!

WATER TORTURE (Reflex DC 16):
• If successful,
MAJUBA's head is constricted by the tendril of shaped water coming from the waterspout. The effect is akin to being submerged underwater from the neck up, preventing you from breathing. You must roll a DC 16 Fort save every round or suffer 2d4+2 subdual damage. WATER TORTURE remains active for three rounds (three saves).

TIGERWOLF: The Aqua Wall does not extend to the ceiling, but it is fairly secure from all angles, debris seem to get caught in the vortex as it spins around.

Spots what Karol did with the move so went for one single almost uppercut styled punch using a Flurry as the basis to Skum C.

Flurry 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Damage 1: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 5) + 7 = 17
Damage 2: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 1) + 7 = 11
That's not including any flanking bonus if is any.
Flurry 1 crit chance: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage 1 as crit: 4d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 5) + 7 = 18
If off on the crit damage since so few times actually get to do that, just adjust as needed.

Dergosh longed to hear his buzzing mace smash into the face of this stinking fishman, but the skum all grouped together presented far too juicy targets. Garmack assesses the situation and determines that his arrows may have difficulty with the Weedy Lady's watery wall, so he hauls out one of their nearly captured goblin bombs and attempts to light and hurl it in her direction.

• MAJUBA fails to duck in time and finds himself bound by his head and mask in a watery prison from the neck up. Fortunately he's able to hold his breath just in time to avoid; it will get harder to avoid drowning as time goes on.

The distraction from the watery helm throws MAJUBA's aim off, overshooting the Skum's head by a few feet above.

• KAROL begins a risky maneuever trying to flank the SKUM, but in order to pass around the SKUM C in this way he will need to swim through cold water before rising to the knee-high wading waters around; assuming KAROL doesn't mind getting wet he gets to where he wants to but the SKUM makes sure to protect himself with a swift pole thrust, he misses.

KAROL strikes back and cuts the Skum once again!

SKUM C: Opportunity attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

• GREEZ proves his amazing brute strength as he swings his fist straight up into the air, causing enough damage to knock the Skum out and sends him up into the ceiling with a crash, then falling down into the beach ahead of him. SKUM C is unable to battle.
Nice crit Greez! Also the way you do crit damage is you make another (in your case) 2d6, not make a 4d6 and lose your original rolls.

• DERGOSH steps back into the water beside his enormous Orc ally and emits a negative energy blast to bombard the remaining Skum once more, one takes it harder than the other.

SKUM A: Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
SKUM B: WIll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

• GARMACK gets ready to use one of the Kobold's Ka-Bombs, each non-giant PC picked up three each (yeah, even though that's more than ten). Arming a bomb by pulling on the match-wick takes a Move action, the bomb explodes at the end of the next round. You make a normal ranged attack roll with 10ft increments. To hit the Aqua wall you must get a minimum of 10 ATK or miss completely.

• ODAK moves south into the shallow waters that barely reach the ankles, priming his shield once more for total defense and prove cover on his southern side right against the wall of water to distrupt the WEEDY LADY's view.

• GARMACK successfully throws the bomb across towards the WEEDY LADY, and as it gets caught in the vortex it swirls around inside it until the fuse inside detonates, causing some damage to her from within as she wails.

> SKUM's TURN <
• ELITE SKUM A bleeds a little as the moment comes around but appears fiercely determined to make sure he doesn't go down without a fight! ELITE SKUM B takes a quick 5ft step towards DERGOSH next to GREEZ's leg and prepares to use his SPEAR SWING special attack! SKUM A uses Aid-other to hinder GREEZ's footing and grant his comrade a +2 to attack him. Unfortunately he is unable to strike either!

SPEAR SWING:
• Using the Skum's base attack, it acts like a kind of Cleave/Whirlwind-Attack that requires a melee target. Clockwise or anti-clockwise the Skum strikes multiple foes with individual attack rolls, however there is a -2 penalty for every foe after the first, hit or miss. It is a full-round action.

SKUM A: Bleed (d4): 1d4 ⇒ 4
SKUM B: ATK (vs. DERGOSH): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

> WEEDY LADY <
• Still cocooned within her water shell, she previously felt the sting of the bomb caught within the Vortex, "You will pay for that!" The powerful fey begins to conjure up a sphere of water from the top of her Aqua wall, eventually popping loose and begins to hurdle towards the beach like a bomb of it's own!

MAJUBA is where the point of impact is, GREEZ and ODAK are at the edges. ODAK miraculously avoids the back-splash of the bomb by ducking down with the water pouring onto his back; his armour reduces the subdual damage to 1.

AQUA BOMB:
WEEDY LADY's special attack she can use within her Aqua Wall/Shell. With a 5ft blast radius, all those who fail a DC 16 Reflex save will be bombarded with a ball of water as big as any giant in combat. Distance from impact causes the following effects;

• Point of Impact: d6+6 subdual damage (reflex half), knocked prone (on fail)
• 5ft edge: d6 subdual damage (reflex half)

With a deep growl at the attempt of the one that did the spinning attack but failing, his attention went to Skum B and sent an open palm using a full force Flurry.

Tigerwolf sees what the bomb does and grins having wanted to do the same and would move up next to Odak pulling it out and lighting the fuse. Odak left side back square

Though just on the periphery of the Weedy Lady's water bomb, Dergosh did not like it one bit. For one thing, it threatened to get all their new, lovely bombs all wet, and Dergosh was pretty sure that was bad. For another thing...well, Dergosh couldn't really think of another thing, but one thing was enough.

Figuring Greez and Karol could handle the remaining two skum, Dergosh withdrew and hauled tail around the party towards the skum Garmack had dropped. Dergosh had no idea if his paln would work, but the orc grinned as he approached the fallen fishman.

Take a double move, ending by the first fallen skum to the west along the shore
