His courage inspiring exhortations done, the cleric tried to think of something useful to do while anxiously waiting his turn on the vine, momentarily considering flinging their kobold ally at the fishmen like a sack of rocks.

Folks, remember that it still takes Greez another 4 rounds to get down, that then it takes each of the others 11 rounds, though medium sized characters can go two at a time (the second person starting when the first is half way down).

As noted, you can climb down at 1/2 speed instead of 1/4 speed by making a higher DC check. When it is each of your turns just say so and make the check if you want to take that option.

is a current threat in the form of a couple of fishmen, so we have to resolve these rounds before anyone else gets on the rope. So -- any actions for Karol, Tigerwolf, or Garmack as they await on top?

@Tigerwolf - -yes, you can switch weapons during Odak's descent
@Greez -- Oh oh. Well, falling *is* one way to get down faster ;)
@Karol -- Well, yes. You frightened away the initial foes, but now there are a couple of fishmen that Odak is about to engage while he attempts to avoid falling giant orcs.

Garmack and Tigerwolf, please make attack rolls as Odak and the two fishmen mutually attack. Odak, also roll your attack please.

Greez, you take a 40' fall as you slip from the vines in your attempt to hurry, please roll damage

Greez is not within reach of a wall unfortunately. The top opening of a cenote is much smaller than the space below, thus there is no wall where you are going down.

Here is sort of an example: Cenote

So damage is 4d6-1(the -1 is for cushy funky moss)

I actually mentioned this in discussion about a few days ago, a hole in the ceiling of the cavern and the walls are too far away.

Tigerwolf sighs as she watches them fall on by one. "Garmak I think I am just going to wait until they are done. At this rate I'll be squished."

Don't they get a chance to catch themselves in the rope?

I guess I am not explaining the situation very well...

Doctor Majuba is currently on the rope vine, moving down cautiously (take 10). The vine can only support 1 large or 2 medium characters at a time, and since the Doctor is large he is the only one on the vine at this time.

To descend the 80' down to the floor, it will take him 11 rounds. He considered going faster but would fall if he were to do so. Now, the party is currently in combat with an increasing number of fishmen and kobolds, so we have to play those rounds out until Majuba gets to the bottom or decides to fall the rest of the way. This means that no one else can willy nilly jump on the rope (unless they want to bring down Majuba, themselves, as well as the rope vine)and descend to the bottom while there is combat ensuing.

Hopefully that clears things up

So, on to the next round of combat then. Odak is making an attack; Tigerwolf is reloading. Greez is now on the floor of the cenote (though initially prone). Actions?

I'll work on a fresh map

here is the current map with a slightly expanded view since two of the party are now on the ground

Odak heaves his massive sword into his injured foe, smashing him in the ribs and dropping him. Garmack misses with his arrows.

Curly damage on Greez: 1d3 ⇒ 3

Greez still has an attack this round. Majuba is nearly 2/3 of the way down

Giant Male Orc HP 72/72, AC 19 T18 FF14, Saves Fort+9 Ref+8(evasion) Will+9 (+2 all enchant spell/effects), Init +4, Acro+17, Percep+10, Climb+10, SenseMotive +8, Heal+3, Ki 5/5 Monk/8

How is it a hit when AC is 19? And if one of them within 5 feet or not moved at all?

Female Half-Orc [HP 43/43 | AC 12 ACR 14 | T 11 | FF 14 | Fort 3 | Ref 6 | Will 3 | Init 2 | Per +8/+10(hidden items) Skulking Slayer Rogue/4

Tigerwolf would start reloading.

Welp...I read your AC as 17. Maybe time for glasses! Sorry about that and thanks for catching it.

The kobolds are along the vine curtain, so they are more than 5' from where Greez landed.

Greez knocks aside Curly's little rock and laughs at the poor kobold.

Growling loudly at how those pesky short ones were throwing or shooting stuff. Moves closer and even rolling or simple jumps over a rock here or there. Only to attempt a headbutt at the one which last tried to hit him with a rock.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 4) + 7 = 15

Hey all. I'll have a post out later today. Sorry for the delay, life has been a little nuts
