With but one fishman left standing, Dregosh wasn't going to bother with him at this point and would instead reserve his power for a more worthwhile foe. He glances back in the direction of the lake to make sure no skum are coming up from behind them.

If nothing was in sight he glanced over to Karol and yelled, "Ho, Heartsinger--looks like we let others fillet the fishmen for now, eh? Good to let others have their fun now and then."

Garmack took another step into the cavern to get a clear angle on the remaining skum and kerchunked him with another arrow.

• GARMACK attempts to strike down the last Skum of the earth by moving further north in position and then thwipping one last arrow into the Fish-creature's neck! SKUM D is downed and unable to battle.

• ODAK, finally glad that the fishman that was attacking Tigerwolf was laying motionless slowly then sharply lands flat on his back with a thunderous clunk, staring up at the open sky through the cenote, grumbling a sigh of relief.

His attention went to the one directly to his right that layed on the ground. With one big foot made sure it was not going to wake up by stepping full weight right across the scum's neck. Not letting up until heard the crack come from the body. It was more for revenge from the one that had gotten a spearhead into his leg earlier.

[CHARACTERS]
MAJUBA hollas through to the entire cavern as his voice echoes back and forth, proving once more that this team's stealth tactics were more of a hinderance than an asset. GREEZ takes his revenge as he stomps down on the Skum with his massive foot, finishing it. ODAK hefts his sword up and sheathes it, lightly patting his pack, remembering the human captives inside and that he should go check on them to see they're okay.

[PASSIVE PERCEPTION]
While brightly lit underneath the Cenote, the rest of the cavern was dark, only dimly lit by the diffusion and refraction of light from the waters and the odd moss growing on the lower levels near the water. Faint echos through the chamber indicate that enemies may still be around, but not in the immediate vicinity.

[NAVIGATIONAL DIRECTIONS]
• To the South-West, you see deep waters that seem to drain off into waterfalls lined with rocks.
• To the South-East, There is more deep water with a waterfall flowing down to your level and a shallow run-off leading South.
• Either way, you can investigate North or South along the landmass, or North-East by climbing 15ft tall ledges. The giants are tall enough to reach up themselves but TIGERWOLF, DERGOSH, GARMACK and KAROL will need a lift or climb themselves to pass these barriers.

[PARTY STATUS]
• At the moment, only GREEZ, (KAROL) and TIGERWOLF sustained minor injuries, everyone else is unhurt. Although Karol is currently in escort mode right now so it's up to you if you want to lose a charge to top him up.
• Out of combat, MAJUBA's wand of healing restores the maximum possible hit points per charge (dice-wise) when not distracted or threatened (take-10 equivalent)

[ODAK'S TURN]
ODAK, sitting down on the soft moss below begins to reach his massive hand around to his pack and opens it up, reaching inside to produce the two human prisoners from before (HUMAN PRISONER A, HUMAN PRISONER B), having been inside a dark pack for so long, they were mildly disoriented as they were sat on the Golian's metallic lap. ODAK looks around at the others and at the cave surroundings that he wasn't able to focus on before.

I'm not exactly sure whether I should be speaking for these guys or not. Mercurion created them and Odak's kind of stuck being their jailer. Should I voice them or not?

Tigerwolf looks at the humans as Odak pulled them out and chuckled to herself before looking around and then to the kobolds if they were still there. "Alright, where is your goblin fire stored and the bombs? Secondly do any of you have items that allow you to swim safely in the water? OR know a way that doesn't require swimming to get to the weedy lady?"

@Odak -- IMO, the humans are all yours. :)

@Tigerwolf -- re kobolds, Squib is still up at the top of the cenote, and Curly ran off, so I don't believe there are any others (at least alive ones) in the immediate vicinity unless Odak says otherwise.

• Kobold SQUIB, peered over the edge of the Cenote down at the party members during the battle but was scared off by the time TIGERWOLF came to ask for more information. It's time for you adventurers to do what adventurers do and ADVENTURE! Or in other words, move around, look at and for things!

• The humans stayed quiet for the most part, however PRISONER B is growing a bit restless with ODAK coddling them all the time, "Leave us alone you metal monster!" The armoured Golian tries to pull them close and turns his head up, hoping nobody heard that.

• As stated before, there's a number of safe routes to take or explore. Whether you go alone or take a friend, doing something new will reveal new information, dangers and rewards. If you want to question a piece of terrain, move towards it and use Perception to learn more about it. Most passive (no dice roll required) Perception checks will reveal any non-secret, non-hidden features about it. Moving around the map will also reveal more of the map to you, though be careful not to travel too quick as there's enemies about!

At spotting the taller ledge and knowing size and speed of own movement, a thumb points over in that direction. "Check up that way if want. If trouble to much to handle can always move back quicker then rest." While waiting for some sort or response lightly jumps between which foot was the 'dominant' foot was putting more weight on. Being very anxious to just move more.

Head nods as Tigerwolf wanted to check up that way at the same time. So when got the the very edge of the ledge looked down toward her. "Me up first. Arm extend to help lift you up after?" He obvious was asking if that was an ok way of going about this or if Tiger wanted to get up on top first.

"You can go up first. I'll take lift up after. But make sure you look down the way it goes first. That way you don't get caught trying to hold me up." She said and smiled at Greez happy to see the initiative he was going with but willing to ask if it was the right way.

Cleaning her blade she re-sheathed it on her back and took Doctor Majuba's and Greez's assistance to get up.

Would of course give a nod then pull self up to the top. Eyes darting around as did so to make sure nothing stood out of ordinary.

Once was fully up and did the scan, and nothing stood out as 'bad' or 'odd' to him, a arm would stretch down to aid Tigerwolf up as well. Eyes still glancing about just in case.

Taking the initiative, the burly monk GREEZ bounds up towards the 15ft ledge, his stomping footfalls dampened by the moss that grew all around this place. His height, as well as that of ODAK and MAJUBA's was well within their reach to pull themselves up and aid their smaller companions along the terrain.

Perception (20)
• With GREEZ already atop the ledge he scans the environment for a short amount of time. NorthEast he sees a flowing plateau of water about a couple of feet deep ahead of them, definitely looks crossable at least, but would slow down the shorter members of the party crossing it.

Nextly
• After checking the way forward, GREEZ lends the brave TIGERWOLF a literal hand up as she easily fits inside the Orc's gargantuan palms. MAJUBA, able to lean his elongated arms atop the upper level without overextending himself is able to stay floor level for when KAROL, (GARMACK) and Dergosh rise to the occasion.

• ODAK lays his pack onto the ground with a thump, so he could put back the humans he seemed to care about so much, PRISONER B kept his mouth shut earlier as TIGERWOLF gave him something to think about, he does mutter something to his colleague as the Iron Giant places them inside one by one.

The orc cleric trotted after the group after one more glance at the lake behind him to make sure no Weedy Lady was trotting after him. Before accepting Greez’s hulking helping hand up the ledge, he bent over and scraped up a large handful of the technicolor moss growing in the patch of sunlight on the cavern floor and stuffed it into his belt pouch.

Karol –>”Great more water. You know these boots that are being ruined were made by the greatest shoemaker in the great encampment, and one day I may pay him.”

Dergosh’s brow crinkled at this statement. Greatest shoemaker? What sort of thing is that to be for an orc or orc ally? Sound more like something for pitiful goblin to do.

Humming mace in hand, he hopped up to the top of the ledge with Greez’s help and looked around, thinking about where little Wolftooth allies might keep bombs and oil.

TIGERWOLF carefully scans ahead, in the distance she can confirm that there are indeed Skum and even some Kobolds up on the ledge. There does seem to be signs of a camp settled there as there are boxes about. It does not appear they have spotted her or her allies just yet but they might be just on the edge of their detection.

Followed Tigerwolf's and Dergosh's gaze perhaps at something they spotted he himself didn't. In case was something hostile, large body crouched down some to not be as noticed from height compared to rest of surroundings. Nearly moving as if a gorilla might appear to. In a whisper to the two spoke. "Something there not see self?"

Tigerwolf nods and says quietly.

"Skum and kobolds on a ledge in some kind of camp. Lot's of boxes and such. We are just on the range of their sight. So keep low." She points north to a rock on the northern part of the still waters in front of them. "Im going to move there and see if I can hear anything. Ill signal for you to try to move forward"

Motioning to Garmak to take the other route if he could find a quiet one across the water as she snuck in the darkness and would move as quietly as she could. Her crew wasn't stealthy but if they could get the surprise that would work well.

Dergosh scratches his head, warily thinking about the situation. He mumbles to the nearby Greez, "Like bombs well enough, don't think I like bombs falling on my head. Didn't like it when putrid goblins explode fireworks in my ear, doubt I'll like it when stinking skum explode bombs on my head." He looks appreciatively at Odak's giant shield and it's potential capacity to function as a bomb shelter.

After hearing Tigerwolf's information he grumbles angrily, "Why little Wolftooth allies helping skum anyways?"

Garmack hears the report of potential targets up on a ledge and readies his bow with a grim smile.

Lets out a low grunt as heard the comment. He stayed low in that crouch while trying to remain 'hidden' with his not as impressive stealth methods of appearing just like could be a rock in distance to that pack.

• While the cave was certainly dark it wasn't exactly pitch-black, a few small lights were lit near the encampment just for general convenience. TIGERWOLF's stealthy approach is successful although it takes her about 24 seconds to do so through the water and along the right. GARMACK gets into position in roughly the same amount of time.

> PERCEPTION (Tigerwolf)
• Passive Perception for TIGERWOLF indicates the Skum and Kobolds aren't talking with each other, the Kobolds seem to be working on things, occasionally growling and squawking with one another. As it happens most of the enemies were facing inwards as if the Skum were watching the Kobolds.

What details of the ledge/area they are on, how tall, ect. Basically seeing if we could take out the three as quietly and quickly as possible.

• The ledge is approximately seven feet high, low enough for anybody to climb unaided. Apart from the heads of the Skum and a couple of torches this is all you can see at this angle.

he says to tigerwolf in a quiet voice they may be allies, but perhaps not friends. See the group seperation? We could attack just the skum, the kobolds might not get involved.

MAJUBA and KAROL attempt to close in towards the enemy camp and across the waters, unfortunately the skinny giant and well-dressed half-orc makes too much splashing sounds crawling across the waters and this alerts the Skum who turn around and spot them! They hiss and raise their spears!

> TIGERWOLF <
• Already in a good spot behind a rock and having professionally sneaked into a corner, TIGERWOLF actually remains undetected and doesn't need to check for Stealth so long as she doesn't move from her spot or draw attention.

> COMBAT IMMINENT <
• The enemy is likely to attack next turn, as #TeamBruteSquad was spotted they do not get a surprise round. TIGERWOLF is currently hidden and therefore with a tactical advantage. Each character can use one move action before combat starts!

Dergosh was pleased. Leave the sneaking to others, his idea of battle was bloody, brutal combat, and may the best Wolftooth win. The cleric stomped up to the edge of the water and shouted at the skum, waving his mace for emphasis, “Ho, fish faces! Come and get it! See if you can knock Dergosh the Loud from the water.” He raised his drum shield as he taunted them.

He hopes to draw the attacks of the fishmen, possibly even to get them down from their advantageous position, but certainly to give his comrades clear, uncontested shots at the skum.

Spots they they were spotted, so rushed forward to move if able to stop 20 feet from Skum A. Making sure to make lots of splashing sounds to distract any attention for the moment away from Tigerwolf. Loud grunts and growls happening at the same time. And just for 'show off' the last 5 feet of the mad rush did a rather simple roll.

As the Team gets into position, so does the enemy! SKUM A and C leap down from the cliff edge and splash down into the waters. SKUM B turns towards the Kobolds and pounds the base of his spear and yells at the little creatures. The Kobolds begin to pick up the spherical looking bombs they were holding. As SKUM A and C land, they crouch down low and prepare for a special attack!

• SKUM A and C targets GREEZ and shoot forward through the water at incredible speeds, water spraying as they move forward. Before reaching the behemoth Orc they launch themselves up towards the Monk's chest with their spears!

• SKUM A plunges his spear into the giant's chest then flips back off to the water, SKUM B ends up skimming between GREEZ's legs and stops in the nearest open space opposite.

GREEZ, as well as any other character in the same situation can use their attack of opportunity to intercept attacks or even counter special attacks like this one. Remember, without the Combat Reflexes feat you can only use one opportunity per round. More on this as the battle develops.

> RESOLVING GREEZ' OPPORTUNITY <
• GREEZ chose to act upon SKUM C who missed and ended up skimming beneath him. By successfully matching/beating his attack roll the giant Monk raises his foot up at the right time in order to stomp down at the creature, inflicting 10 damage and knocking them prone into the space in front of him.

With some time to think, I've decided that players may only get to decide on when (and sometimes how) to use their 'Opportunity' but as GM decide what the ultimate outcome is. This is to normalise the potential damage between the giant and non-giant party members who have noticeable differences in weapon damage. In future, only make attack/CMB rolls, no damage rolls.

> DERGOSH: NEGATIVE CHANNELING <
• DERGOSH sends out a wave of negative energy that ignores his immediate allies but strikes SKUM A and C. A is able to withstand some of the harm through their Will-save but C takes the full brunt.

• MAJUBA uses Blindness against SKUM A. It is successful! Since I'm unaware of the specifities of Blindness, I'll leave the description up to Majuba. After which the lanky Orc strides over towards ODAK to assist.

> TIGERWOLF vs. the Bomb camp <
• TIGERWOLF swiftly leaps upon the nearby rock and up onto the next level in order to charge with her weapon, straight into SKUM B. She is successful and deals massive harm by blindsiding them! The two of them move a few feet further than intended. The problem was that the Kobold next to them jumped in fright and threw their bomb high into the air, "Gaaah! Ambush lady!"

• Danger! When the bomb falls it's going to cause an explosion! TIGERWOLF must roll Reflex 20 save or, use her Opportunity in order to make a Reflex 15 save! Due to the nature of the choice and how easy it is to preview rolls before posting, you are allowed to use your opportunity even if you roll under 20.

• ODAK begins to get moving into the battlefield, although his massive slowness only gets him towards the edge of it as MAJUBA moves to the side in order to reduce the obstacles made. His metal feet pound and crunch the earth as he unsheathes his sword and tower-shield, "Hnnm!"

It attempts to use it's opportunity to try to escape the blast! It is successful and jumps off the edge and into the water. It then goes into fighting-defensively to boost it's AC by 2.
