Aight everyone, welcome to the reset button that's been hit! So those who've already attempted this with me, we're gonna try for the same format. For those new, here's the format we're gonna try for. As you can tell, I started right off the bat with a check. So with cases such as this, as well as combat, I'm giving everyone a day to react before being botted. As for roleplaying, unless it gets a heavy interaction, I'm going to try and limit one in game day down to a week in real time, that way we can try and avoid spending 3 months on 3 hours. With this start, I'll give a couple of days for everyone to make sure they are good to go and post as well. Please notate anything that needs to be know in ooc, and when making attacks, please state what it is that you're attempting to do, and roll both attack and damage at the same time. Any questions?

Odd... are you posting via mobile? If so, mobile has been very screwy lately. If PC, I'm not quite sure... try and just post something without rolling here soon when the others post. I'll take the 18.

well i'm willing to witness that you got a 12 if you want to change it. i actually don't think it will change the roll if you just go edit it and change who you posted as.

Aight, 4/5 good so far. One player will get a late start as they're not going to have access for the week, but I've already talked to them about it. If the 5th hasn't posted by tomorrow, then I'll move it forward with the 4 who've posted so far.

Sorry for the late post, was at an Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling concert last night. Absolutely amazing. Anyways, I do have a question for you guys, on checks that I'll need you all to make, would you rather me do a mass rolling for everyone or would you rather do it yourself?

I'm wondering the same thing here. I asked what people wanted to do, and only saw one response. Then I asked again a few days later what everyone wanted to do in general, and it's almost been a week before anyone posted here. Either the forums are eating every post in this thread, or it just got forgotten, or for the first time that I've done this intro, people don't like it and just said "Screw it, it's not RotRL true to the book, I'm not playing" and just didn't say anything.

I'm fine to move forward. I've had a somewhat hectic week, sorry for the lack of posts.

well i haven't read the book or played it before so i don't know how it's supposed to start, but i imagine everyone is looking for more to go on. even with two of the higher perception checks i'm still kind of lost which is why my checks are just attempts to gather information (and i'm not good at much else). also, we all heard the screams so i don't think anyone's excited to head toward the voice.

We have no context. We're in a black void? With a strange voice and hazy shapes? How did we get there? What happened before? Are we dreaming? Dead? Are we even on Golarion? This situation is highly unconventional and provides no context for people to take any actions.

First group I've had that didn't seem to like this. No worries. Give me a little bit and I'll just scrap what I was doing and we'll start from the AP's starting point.

Weird. This campaign wasn't showing me the discussion updates. Good thing I checked...

Okay, moved forward. And I really hope that people are able to get updates. I've seen few issues with the boards lately in the feedback section, and have had a few myself, but I'm wondering if something's getting worse now.

I got updates this time for both discussion and gameplay, so that's a good sign. I tend to get them without fail for all of my campaigns, so it seems the exception when it doesn't happen.

Hello all. FYI that I'm going to be away on a trip starting Tuesday, July 31 through Thursday, August 2. I'll likely be posting for part of Tuesday and Thursday and only really be fully out Wednesday.

Sorry for the lack of response this week, it's been a really tough one on a personal note. However I think I'm gonna have to call quits on this attempt to get this game going. After a few weeks trying to see what everyone was going to do, it seems like it went nowhere. I get that if a GM is off a few days or so, then things can slow down. But I can't be the only one trying to get a game to happen. I'm perfectly fine with one on one NPC reactions or conversations with players, but I have to be able to know that I'm the one and only reason that a game continues. I'm sorry if that comes off harshly, but I'm just being honest here.

Apologies, things have been hetic for me and I have not been able to post. Fortunately, that seems to be behind me now, so I should be posting frequently from now on.
