Male Human Wizard (conjurer) 8/ Archmage 3

Denat swings wildly his weapon at the nearest wasp (W3).
AoO, Bec de corbin: 1d20 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 + 2 + 1 = 12
Not sure I hit something but anyway...
Damage if needed: 1d10 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Anglon, you can make an AoO as well if you like. Thkrull, you get an AoO and a standard attack

Male Human Cleric 7 Hierophant 2 / F+7,R+4,W+12 / AC 17/10/17 CMD 16 / HP 48/48 / Init +2 Per +5 / Spells 7/7,6/6,4/4,3/3 / Bursts 6/6 / Mythic Power 7/7

I made one on the previous page. I don't have combat reflexes or anything, but I'll make another one if you want!

HP 108, AC 27/28, F+18, R+18, W+17, Per +17 Savage elephant animal companion 10

Thkrull swats at the wasps as they get close, then unleases his full might on them as he keeps himself between them and Taerine.

Mechanics:

Claw AoO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Trip: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

I thought you were readying an attack, as was Thkrull

Male Human Cleric 7 Hierophant 2 / F+7,R+4,W+12 / AC 17/10/17 CMD 16 / HP 48/48 / Init +2 Per +5 / Spells 7/7,6/6,4/4,3/3 / Bursts 6/6 / Mythic Power 7/7

I took one here. I got a 24 to hit for 7 damage.

there's AoO, which you get when they come within range. I thought you had also held an attack (basically waiting to use your normal standard action) for when they came in range. If so you get 2 attacks, not 1. FURTHER because you have a "brace" weapon if you hit someone with a held attack when they charge you you do double damage.

Male Human Cleric 7 Hierophant 2 / F+7,R+4,W+12 / AC 17/10/17 CMD 16 / HP 48/48 / Init +2 Per +5 / Spells 7/7,6/6,4/4,3/3 / Bursts 6/6 / Mythic Power 7/7

Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 3 = 26
Damage: 1d10 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 9 x 2 = 18 assuming they are charging

As the wasps charge the line of defenders Thkrull's claws sweep up, badly damaging a wasp AoO+standard only on ready sorry thkrull. Hits once.
Anglon holds to the last moment, and as the wasp closes he impales it, then jerks the blade down through its body, killing it.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18damage: 4d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 1) + 2 = 12
Denat attempts the same maneuver, but just misses - and suddenly Arioch is there, striking hard enough to cut the wasp's head from its buzzing body.

The remaining wasps, riders dead on their backs, fight with an instinctive fury.
W4 on archer attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
W5 on archer attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

6 piercing damage to a skeletal archer. Taerine: I believe Thkrull is AC 23 at the moment. If so, 10 damage and a DC 14 fortitude save please

Start of Round 4. PCs are up.

Anglon, inspired by his unexpected success, takes a swing at the closest wasp.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Confirmation: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
If Critical: 3d10 + 12 ⇒ (6, 6, 5) + 12 = 29
Anglon is starting to believe he missed his calling as a fighter.

Round 4

Skeletons don't care much about piercing damage. Damage is reduced to 1 by DR.

The archers all fall back neatly and keep firing at the wasps in front of them.

5'adjustment backwards.

Bludgeoning damage

Well, that's just sad.

Simon's gun fires wildly into the melee. The skeletal archers back away as ordered, firing at their foes. let them fire first - and one wasp goes down.
The skeletal warrior lashes out at its foe, doing some minimal damage with its claws.
Anglon moves up and lashes out at another wasp, once again using his impaling cleave to kill it near-instantly. The acrid smell of acid emanates from its already scarred corpse.

Male Human Wizard (conjurer) 8/ Archmage 3

Whispering a prayer to Lissala, Denat makes a step forward (5 ft step to H7) and attacks the nearest wasp (That would be Wasp 6. I think I can attack it with reach ?), trying to smash it with his bec de corbin.

Whoops, I did on both my characters. Sorry.

The Runelords kill the remaining wasps in short order. Only the wasp fleeing back towards the hive still lives.

Simon will fire his remaining cold snapdragon fireworks for good measure. If it dies great, but not a priority.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Vigilante (Brute) 1 HP 9/9, Init +1, Per +7 AC 11/ t11/ ff10, F 3, R 1, W 6

What about the riders? Did any of them survive?

Damn no-save stone call killed all but the one on the fleeing wasp.
That's why they fought so stupidly.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Vigilante (Brute) 1 HP 9/9, Init +1, Per +7 AC 11/ t11/ ff10, F 3, R 1, W 6

O.o...

Oops.

The last wasp, limping with cold but just alive, make sit back.
The Mite riding it is unlikely to have survived Simon's freezing cold.
What will the Runelords do now?

F Human Kinetecist (pyrokineticist) 17

"Well, I guess we should go on, right?" Taerine says.

HP 108, AC 27/28, F+18, R+18, W+17, Per +17 Savage elephant animal companion 10

"Oh, defnitly," Thkrull says through a mouthful of wasp. After a moment, he spits some of the shell out.

"Crunchy. Kind of stings the tongue, though. Definitely not as good as chicken. Let's go find out if the mites taste any better and get their statue back."

With dramatic flourish Simon fires a few last cold snapdragon fireworks at the fleeing wasps. Then turns to his companions

"I believe Grey mentioned some use for the wasps, but beyond that we should definitely press on. We should head the direction the wasps came from."

He holsters his gun and picks up his symbol of office.

Taerine:
Sure do!

Grey:
Animating anything?

Simon:
Flew out of range after a few blasts, sorry.

Tree is about 3000ft. Seems like the have some idea you are coming. Is anyone casting anything? Are you still going to the tree? If so, how fast (base speed and walk/hustle/run/sprint)? Remember is a sandbox - you can attack now, back off and come back later, try negotiation: whatever you want. I've been pretty impressed with the group's lethality so far!
20ft move x double move is 75 rounds = seven and a half minutes.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Vigilante (Brute) 1 HP 9/9, Init +1, Per +7 AC 11/ t11/ ff10, F 3, R 1, W 6

Obviously Arioch has dropped his inspire Courage.
Observing the tree along with the others, Arioch muses. "From everything I recall, Mites make bad neighbors. That tree looks a bit too big to effectively burn down & I rather doubt they will be as...
reasonable,
as our scaly friends have proven."
"Far be it from me to presume, but I suspect our company should prove equal to this task set before us."

Male Human Wizard (conjurer) 8/ Archmage 3

"So you're telling us we should just go there and kick their asses ? "
Denat smiles broadly, obviously under the spell of a fight he finished without any injuries.

Ever pragmatic Simon says,

"We could just burn the tree down. "

Arms crossed looking hard at the tree. You get the impression he's working out the logistics even as he speaks.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Vigilante (Brute) 1 HP 9/9, Init +1, Per +7 AC 11/ t11/ ff10, F 3, R 1, W 6

Knowledge (Engineering): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26, to determine how readily a structure the size of the tree would burn down in the present conditions.
Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27, to determine how readily a tree that big will burn down in the present conditions.

Arioch:

It is an old tree, and enormous. If you could get it to start burning it'd turn into a chimney and burn like fireworks.
But it is old, hard wood. It would take a lot to get any of it hot enough to burn.
You could set a bonfire and let it burn for a while. There's magic and alchemy that could do it.
The two big problems are (A) there are inhabitants smart enough to put out the fire and (B) if the statue is inside and you collapse the tree it might be difficult to get, possibly even injured.
Mechanically it'll take a hundred points of damage to a 5ft area in 30 rounds or less to set it on fire. Once it is on fire the tree will burn slow, but will be effectively unstoppable.
