Ok guys, Real Life (TM) just hit me hard. I have a family emergency which I seem to be the only effective adult for, so I suspect it is going to be several days to a week before I am in a position to post again. Harakani DM, please 'bot' me as needed until I post I'm back.

Simon - you have truly terrible luck with the dice. Much sympathy :(
It's why I tend to pick spells that don't require difficult rolls.

Taerine Doumont |

Hey guys, I'm sorry to do this, but I think I'm going to bail. I've been getting a little more freelance work and I think it's just taking up more of my gaming time. I'm not giving this game my full attention and I feel like I'm just slowing things down and not adding much. I'm happy to keep playing through the mite fight if you want -- Taerine can stay at the fort and help protect Hargran (she's not all that excited about being out in the dangerous wilderness anyway) -- but will do whatever works best for the campaign overall.

The Master in Grey |

I apologize if my minions are muddying the waters. I try to make their actions clear and concise, and do them as a block, but clearly they are still causing too much commotion.
They are central to Grey's theme, so I don't want to lose them, but I would be perfectly willing to give them over to the GM to handle with the enemy actions. That way they could become part of the background in many cases.

Arioch Bellimarius |

It's not a matter of Grey's 'pets'. It's more a matter that every round has approximately a dozen posts, before the other side gets involved & in order for the combat to be anything approaching a challenge, they need to be something comparable. Consequently, it takes something close to a week really to complete one combat round.
It doesn't help that I have real-world events going on which lead me to conclude I need to curtail my online activity.
Hope everyone has fun.

TCG: you see now why I held off answering...
The statue is gone (shattered by someone's shot).
You have Pikmik who can affirm that this was the statue.
Kill Hasathorex and you kill Old Sharptooth, the kobold God.
Given you've got him trapped in a hole, blinded, silenced, everyone is buffed, you have best fighters on him and sumoned creatures blasting him barring a change in his luck I think you'll win, possibly with a cost.
What's the plan afterwards?
(A) go back to the Kobolds, then home
(B) go straight home
(C) other
I'm thinking we may need to look at replacing some members, and this trip home is a good way to do it.
I wanted 7 players, one for each runelord. It does slow things down a little though. I would like more than 4.
Should we have less players?
Should we just call it a day?

Grey would probably consider the social ramifications of the death of the kobold's god. In the end he'd go with whatever whatever choice would make them better members of the society we're trying to create.
Simply on the basis that Grey thinks there should be no oath higher than serving the council of Runelords, Grey would probably be in favor of killing the demon and the dragon. With them gone, the Runelords could probably convince the Kobold chief to join up.

More slows things down, but you handle it well. I think we could recruit. I know one person who'd be a great fit. Very reliable.
With the folks we've lost, which Virtues are available?

"We killed your god. Soooo… yea. You can worship us if you want, but don't get crazy."

yeah…
I can see that going really well or really badly. Probably the latter, but could be fun for a minute.
Edit: Also that made me Laugh out loud. I don't know who you are IRL, but I think we'd be friends.

The Master in Grey |

Anglon, because of your profile picture I imagine everything you say in Tim Curry's voice as Frank in Rocky Horror. :)
I'm discussing this game with a friend via text messages.
Can I get that list of open Virtues?

The Master in Grey |

Are we fast forwarding through the rest of the fight?
I think that was it. GM said that my zombees would beat the rest of the wasps in 3 rounds, as background action. I think all that's left to do is either go inside and mop up the remaining mites, or just burn the tree down.

I say burn it down and call it a day.

Runelords staying with us
Envy/Abjuration Necromancy The Master In Grey
greed/trans Con Denat Leroung
Evoc/Wrath Evoc Simon
Enc/Lust Enc Anglon
Runelords leaving
shout out if I am wrong, people!
Pride/illus Illus Arioch Bellimarius
glut/necro Abjuration Taerine
Sloth/Conj Trans Callius Mordent
How to read this.
Vice/normal-school actual-school name
so Envy/Abjuration Necromancy The Master In Grey
vice=envy
school = necromancy rather than the normal abjuration
name = the master in grey
Not sure if we should be recruiting new Runelords, or just new characters. Opinions?

Harakani |

Okay, I'll put up a recruitment post with the theory that you guys burn the tree, talk quickly to the kobolds and head back home.
At that point you'll get your delayed levelling.
I this case that means Mythic Tier 2.
IF you settle in for a year of kingdom building then you'll also all level.
Should I advertise for Level 5/MR2, or level 6/MR2?
I was thinking same rules as you had EXCEPT that if you've got the kobolds someone could play a non-caster Kobold.
Thoughts?

Anglon |

A year would be better.
I know we talked about it, but did we finalize leadership roles?
Also, please remind me, we are using UC not Kingmaker, correct?
I swear that I've never smoked pot, I just have a bad memory.

The Master in Grey |

Lots of holiday stuff coming up for me in the next two weeks. My posting time will be pretty diminished. I'll get a post in when I can, but please don't hold the game up for me.
As for bringing new people in, let's advertise for L5/M2, and if we need to bump them up when they're ready to join, we can do that.
