Flits alive. How you been?
Sure am. Alive and kicking. Had a bit of a rough patch after my Comp went bust, got caught up in the real world but all is back on track with me. All is good at last! :) How you been? Whats the news around the tavern?
Been good, trying my hand at GMing a PbP, recruiting people right now.
Gorgoron's wife had a baby girl, sometime around Christmas which I thought was rough for them but Gorgoron told me about how the family wanted to hold the baby.
Well, after you and Tardek left we had to get new people so we got Lleneth, who is a bard. Than Dehrisan left so we got Thaddeus, who is a magus who the group has not met yet. Right now we are going after the goblins stronghold.
Recruiting huh? I might look in to that. Gonna have a LOT of free time in the next few weeks.

Even with Thadeus, that's only 5 players; I for one would love to see Flitter back in the game. Would you be up for rejoining? I think that according to the official story line, Flitter has just been hanging out at the inn, indulging even more than usual.
If you guys will have me, I will indeed join back in. I love playing Flit. Id love to be back! :) Ha! Seems like what Flit would do. Ill try get him sobered up! :P
A sober Flit? I do not even think wish or miracle can pull that off.
Well... Not sober but like... Sober enough to know whether he is wearing pants with his armor and that that breeze he feels, is not a good thing! :P

Flitter's spot is indeed still vacant, if he would like to jump back in. Unfortunately his assistant has departed, so he'll need to suffer through the hang overs like normal folk. ;P
Grumbling to himself with venom, Flit sighs, pushing his hat back further up on his head. "Well one must suffer ones plight with dignity... Or by cursing like the salty sailor me pappy was!" Grinning, Flit lights another cigar.
I believe you will need to level up once to be even with the party. Once you are ready, let me know and we can squeeze you back in.

We just had Thaddeus meet the group; like literally the last couple of posts in the game thread. Since Dehrisan left the group, we had his character return to town (just a couple miles away) to get more help in reaching the Thistletop goblin stronghold, Thistletop fortress, and stumbled across Thaddeus, who had a mount and easily made it to the party. If you want to merge back in quickly, we could have him "motivate" Flit to get sober and get back to work, joining with the crew shortly since I believe he still has the riding dog that the Fat-Man Foxglove gave him.
Sure. Sounds good. Ill come to the party whenever you want. A daring entrance WOULD be appreciated! ;)
Shall we have a regal Flit kick in the door while one dog-back, hair blowing in the breeze, when the party is bloody and battered and save the day with a repeating crossbow in each hand, a pint of whiskey in his gut, and a fine Cuban cigar between his lips?

There is always the 'crash through the window Batman-style and neutralize the goblin warriors in the room with one well place judo chop each, and finish by firing a crossbow over his shoulder at the final fleeing goblin and getting a perfect heart shot without looking then lighting up a cigar and lowering his shades while making a pun so bad it would make Horatio Caine cringe as a fiery explosion chases the ailing party down a narrow hallway' method.

Gorgoron is kinda' a little person.
I know dwarves get along with gnomes but how do they feel about halflings? I know how the feel towards elves(dislike), humans(depends), half-elves(depends/dislike), and half-orcs(lets not talk about it) but no idea about halflings.
I had a point to that was going to say Gorgoron might dislike being compared to a halfling.
Their heads are about the right height to set flagons upon?

Halfling adventurer Flitter Whistle officially retires from adventuring outside of Sandpoint today after making tens of thousands of gold marketing the "ale-helmet" to would-be dwarf adventurers. No longer will you need to choose between a mug and tower shield to protect yourself from dragon attacks. When Flitter was approached for comment, he burned the reporter's eye with a cigar and said, quote "Where's that gods-be-damned assistant 'o mine!" end quote, and strode off shooting down pigeons with an unregistered crossbow.

He is definitely one of the more memorable characters I've run for. Quite a personality on that one.
Also, I'm pretty sure the Nethys Daily News is short one reporter for using Flit's full name.

Don't worry Flit. Thistletop is a crescendo dungeon. There will be plenty of opportunities for a heroic entrance soon.
