It's easy to trigger an event by casting a spell while using your Primal Magic ability and voluntarily failing the concentration check, but you don't yet have real control over what happens. And most of the effects are centered on you. There's a very small chance you'd affect Logrivich, but he's out of range of almost everything you can trigger.

I'm sure he's in the 150 ft. range, and he still has one round of Evil Eye and Misfortune to do the save. Worth a try, as I don't think blind dragon fly that well.
Or are that good at avoiding buildings.

The Black Rider also told Ered a possible hideout during his sidequest. Since it's been quite a while IRL, I figured everyone would appreciate the reminder. :-)

From what I understand,the gist is:
1)Go the the Temple of Milani. Bring the children there so they are safe.
2)99% We'll find the priestess/someone from the resistance there.
2a)Crow can help the resistance to contact Marcus.
3)Ask the resistance for help to lure/kill Loghrivic: we need something to keep him down. Hopefully the resistance will help with keeping the guards occupied.
4)Prepare for the next day.
5)Kill a dragon
6) Go for the hut ASAP: that's why we're here.

Here's something else to approve: You're all Level 6 now. :-) Let me know what changes in this thread. Unlike the other times you've leveled, your HP, spells, and limited-use abilities won't recharge until you've had 8hrs of rest.

@Neverhome: Don't forget that you need ranks in Know(arcana) to take the PrC we discussed. Now would be a good time to examine what you've learned about dragons. ;-)

@Ered: Based on the party's current plan, the surprise we've been discussing will happen sometime in the next scene (which should be insanely epic for everyone). You can make the mechanical changes now, though, as it's easier for me that way.

PS: It doesn't work because Crow's a familiar and an outsider, but I didn't know there was a spell to make your very own miniature Weaponsmith Ornifex.
