Kar smiles at the praise, "It's just a common sense matter." He says, "How many rows do you think there are to do?" He asks, as they weed.
She puts down her datapad and picks up the one Aananda placed on the table, pulling up some of her research.
"It seems that all of the praise regarding your technical savvy that has been heaped upon you is justified," she says after a moment. "Thank you."
She puts down the datapad and stands up.
"It has been...a very give and take experience, Aananda. I wish you the best in your travels," she says with a formal nod.

"Do you actually dislike me, or is it just that you don't trust me?" she blurted out. She blushed. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that out loud. Sometimes my mouth moves faster than my brain."
Kar gets back to work, he was a bit demoralized at the size of the job, but he volunteered and he wasn't going to complain.
He keeps working diligently, making sure he doesn't pull a single one that he wasn't supposed too. "How often do you have to do this?" He says, "Seems like too big a job for just one person." He says.
"That's good, I've yet to meet these other people at all." He says jokingly, "Are you sure you're not messing with me?" He asks sarcastically.
"I might have to meet these others, to help you with a job like this they must be giants or such." He says, smiling while he works.

"I believe your mother is waiting for you on the Academy Deck, in the Library. Unless Doctor Zeppler has managed to woo her, of course. You might want to go check on her and make sure she's alright," she says with a smile as she sits back down and picks up the datapad.

I haven't known my mother very long, but she doesn't seem like the type to go for an emotionless encounter....Then again, I really have only known her for a few days, so what do I know," she added with a smile and a shrug.

She nods, and the couple leaves the Observation Deck and heads for the Library.
Kar smiles, "Well then, they must be bigger in heart then they are in size, I don't know if I could do this every day." He says, coming to the end of the row he is in.
Alrighty...they collect Ryleh from the Library, make sure everybody has everything they came with (though they will be taking a 'care package' of sorts with them), then go grab Ryo from the Prism. They make their way back to the Teleport Circle room and use it to return to the comet.
They only note one change upon their return - the body of the Silver is gone. Tam explains that he and Fivain came back and disintegrated the body to remove any evidence, and cleaned the containers of any tracking devices or spells. They are currently tied onto a hover pallet by the portal.
With one last check of everything, they activate the pallet, and step through the portal...
"Sure." Kar says, brushing some of the dirt off of the loaned clothes.
Aananda looked up as they came around the corner of the house.
"Oh, hi Adsila.....Hi new person I haven't met yet."
Following Adsila's questioning glance, she looked back. "Oh! No, that isn't another new person. That's Tam."
Kar rounds the corner and looks at the group, waiting for them to sort out their own confusions before introducing himself.
"But....but....He's an elf!!!" Adsila spluttered. "He was human when he left here. What happened??!"
"Ermm...I caught a bug?" Tam replies from over at the hover pallet, a little embarrased. (^.^)

She raised an eyebrow. "Well, that sounds like there's an interesting story behind it," she said, sounding amused.
"There is, though I believe it might be too crude for present company." Kar says, scratching the back of his head akwardly, "Suffice it to say, I found myself fleeing across the plains with only a non-fitting pair of pants." He says.
"I found the clothes line, then the vines found me. Adsila was kind enough to lend me some clothes and invite me in." He says, smiling, "I've been helping her weed ever since." He says, in mock reminice.
"Well, if you're tired of weeding you could always help us carry boxes." ^.^

"Well, um, Ryo's complicated," she said, not really sure how to respond. Ryo had shown some serious lapses in morals and judgement, but she didn't think he was actually a bad person. "And I'm sure you'll get to meet him soon. This is his house after all." ^.^
